Backstory:
24 years ago, I was born to an ancient nation of White Tiger Shifters. Our wilderness was eternally blanketed in snow & glistened beneath the fey magic of northern lights. But we were almost gone. We had been fighting a losing battle for decades against the servants of Lloth that preyed on the various scattered nations of our land. Lloth wanted to destroy the Eladrin & Elf nations more than ours, so our elders eventually tried to gain some respite from the brutal war with reluctant betrayl, but lost everything to Lloth's treacherous schemes regardless. The only thing Lloth's massive conquest truly feared to touch anymore were the trading caravans, because attacking them would bring the wrath of the most powerful country in the region, Tasre Sonom, upon them. On the last night of her life, my mother begged one of the trade caravan girls to take me in. By morning, I was the last survivor of my tribe.
I was raised far to the south in the tropical capital city of Tasre Sonom. My first memories of life are of the vibrant colors & exquisite architecture of my Half Elf merchant family's home overlooking the market. My family valued education, and buried in my books I discovered that stories like mine of lives saved & improved through civilization were common. I developed a close relationship with Erathis. As I grew so did my thirst for violence & adventure as my fierce Shifter nature emerged, so when I came of age at 16 I chose to give myself to the Temple of Erathis to become an Avenger.
Upon graduation at age 20, I was assigned to protect a proposed alliance between Tasre Sonom & a besieged Eladrin nation that was now the last remnant of civilization in the land of my birth. The Eladrin nation proposed becoming part of Tasre Sonom and providing it with ancient Eladrin magic and treasure in exchange for help ending Lloth's now almost complete conquest of the northern lands. I fought in a regiment of Avengers that led the efforts to vanquish the evil horde, & after we succeeded we briefly remained afterwards as impartial witnesses & bodyguards to ensure the laws of incorporation were drafted fairly to both sides. Our mission complete, we returned home to the temple, where I received my +1 Fullblade of Oaths Fulfilled as an award for exemplary service.
Following the ceremony, I was assigned my first solo mission: Reclaim a list of historical artifacts for civilization & increase stability and trade in the wild continent beyond the port of Moonhaven.
