Callo recalls a tail of history told on the ship she came here on, It was some half elfs who told it.
Long ago the hole reigion was not all sand or dust. Some of it was full of life and rivers and trees. It had lots of farm land as well. The defenders of the lands were Brass and Bronz dragons, One day The Red Dragons started to drain the rivers and lakes. How no body knows and anyone who tries to find a way to bring water back is killed. The Bronz and Brass tried to stop them but were over powered and lost badly. The elfs were hunnted down and killed do to thier use of magic. The ones who lived fled the continet to another island. In the last days before everything was burned the elfs made love to humans, insuring that half-elfs would carry the blood of the elven line, just incase they were all wiped out. It was also to better hide thier magic when they came of age. They knew that the people needed hope magic could come back, and help save them. The elfs who stayed and fought in the revolution vs the red lords were taken out, so to this day no full elf has lived here and stayed living since that time.

With a 19, the barbarion knows the elfs were all wiped out by the Red lords. Also that the elfs did fight along side of his ansesstors in the revolution. In the revolution both took heavy losses and the elvin army was wiped out. The red loards however did not lose many dragons in the rebelion.

Korvac stares at Nokomis. At 5'10 Korvac's height isn't impressive, but his body is thick with muscle and scars. He bears a large Falchion with a wicked curve and a large bow with strange runes on it. His protective clothing covers his armor, but you note a silvery glint of chainmail around his wrists. Korvac says to Nokomis "I am from the people of the sand, we who protect the water. My people are not far from here, and our tribe has now grown to include many who survived the revolution. When the revolution ended, many half-people were lost, and we took them in, including many half-breed orcs. This was once taboo, but the war changed all that. I have traveled in the central regions, and even in the North where the Goblins hold power. I have fought the Red Lords and lost, though I am still here. This is who I am."

So the parties are getting to know eachother, you all get the felling that nobody means any harm to the others but dont know the full skills and abilities just yet. The dragons are quite friendly once they get the new commers are ok.
So moving things along where does the party wish to go you all do need supplies such as water and food unless you cast spells/ hunt. right now your heading do west. Its mid day and the temperature is rising.

Callo looks towards the woman and her armoured companion, "how did you come to be so deep in the desert so attired?"

Koravel, satisfied in what the others say to eachother does not open his mouth. He is observant without appearing to scrutinize or be pensive. He meanders about some as he waits.

Dawn explains the backstory on her character sheet. (TL;DR she is a princess in exile whose homeland was conquered by an evil dragon.)

The sun is getting hight in the sky and heat is now at its stongest power. heat damage will start ococcuring. ( this is not the same as fire damage).
this is a skill chalange i know pathfinder does not have them but i found it works just fine in this as it does in 4thed d&d. I do have a set dc ready. Please pick 3 skills u have each use once, i do that so u dont pick your best skill 3 times in a row. if u use one that does not apply ill let u know. ( team builder starts now.).

Nokomis was quite used to surviving the heat of the desert. She lived in the desert, for her it was just part of daily routine.

( so with and crit or nat 20: i count them as two passes for skill chalange not the normal one for a pass. Any nat Ones how ever I count as two failers. So survival: she knows water and shade are best and needs to be large enough for the hole group, she was use to having to look for shade, it was part of daly habbit. Traveling at night was best, not day this being the main cause of death, heat stroke. so far no one has it but time was not on the parties side. she also knows they needed to get a move on for she estimates in the next 9 mins the heat would be very hard and even worse to fight. she knows endure elements could combat it for a while, maybe long enough to get there, but she must have got all turned around for her normaly markers must be covered in heavy sand this time of year. ( 12 was a failer). Nature would tell you the best shot of trees and shade is near the only water or as she has found many times hidden water sources and you know were and how close by some are. It will take them a full run but in 6 mins you could get to them and in shade. there were more then just palm trees, that could grant shade but none of that kind of tree were out in the dunes north was the best bet for shade, if only she was not turned around cause all the dunes right now looked the same. The heat was getting to her not badly but she could fell it and was afriad for the ones who are not use to this. there was no waste of time. Knowing these lands and surviving them were not the same thing, for as long as she knew, mother nature would not care if she claimed them today or any day. it was a harsh place to live, unkind at times, and with out remorse or sadness if travlers fell within her never to be seen once more.
(so far 3 passes 1 fail: I take the order of rolls as the come so that there is no mad dash and everyone gets a chance. if the passes or failers tally and happen to reach ehter total before i get to the others, I keep track who did not go and the very next skill chalange that comes up I start with the people who did not get the opertunity from the previous one. I find that to be fair, This is so we are not waiting on everyone but not excluding anyone and people gat a fair shot, for i always want character interaction with things and the chance to use thier skills ( even the bad ones).

Callo allows Nokomis to take the lead, aware of her companions skill in this area. It would be a simple enough task to shield the group with magic but the agents of the dragons were everywhere and so, as the sun climbed higher, she contented herself in unfurling her parasol and offering it's shelter to those amongst the newcomers who appeared worst affected by the heat. I need to double check my skill points so i'll delay any skill tests for Callo. She has little skill as an outdoorsman anyway, relying on her extensive magical powers.
1R5KHHDPp_1-20+13 fort (though not required as Callo has several layers of protective magic) 1-20

Korvac knows the weather well, and agrees that the group should seek shelter, not only from the elements, but from prying eyes.

Stealth: he knows how to walk in the sand and he is light on his feet, not many out here would even see the sand move or even hear him out here. Years prefecting the ambush out here. Pass.
With your perception you cant see much,as it looks all the same to you as well, you climb a dune but trip on a hidden rock that was very well hidden ( needed higher perception : ( ) and loses his fooring slips off. he Tumbles back down the same side he came up on. The rock is not that big its partly why he fid not see it, but big enough to be dangerious. Shame it does not grant any shade.on the upside of things Good for him the heat did not bother him at all. not even the sun burn he was getting, or the hot sand now coveing him all over. he could stay out here all day but knew not to tempt fate. Some of his fellow Barbarians show strength for how long they can last in the heat, last one standing wins but not a time to show off.Two failers on the other rolls, Now 4 to 3.

Fortitude (Dawn): wkpOXuMOp_1-20 + 15 = 32 pass
Geography: p_1-20 + 11 = 15 Failer
She has no idea where the closest trees would be, not being from here was a big hamper to her abilt y, this was not like the land back home. And no maps or marks to help. Fortitude (Bip): pass She was getting a tan but other then that she is fine. Perception (Bip): p_1-20 + 21 = 28 (with Guidance) pass. She makes her way to the top of the same dune and looks out she can tell what is real and what is a fake trick of the light. Its not to far but sees many dead bodies laying on the ground covered in sand between them and it but a few tents were set up in the shade near water a great place but could be dangerious . Survival (Bip): p_1-20 + 11 = 19 (with Guidance) this was very unlike her home land it would take time to get use to how to survive but she has picked up many skills that can help, just not in this location. Failer You all must take a fort save per 9 mins so no you dont have time to make anything for right now you dont have down time unless you wish to stay in the blazing sun.

hh2UoYS01-20Survival 1-20 +17 =22 pass
K(nature) 1-20 +4 = 20 he was well read, and knew his survival depended on part of what he know about nature. Camels were native here they store water in the humps but if tracks are found they would want to be led or flock to a water source, meaning shade. pass
Perception1-20 +10 =15 His eyes still had to ajust to the sun reflecting off the sand and had to look for outlines in the sand, and figure out what could be hidden from little clues of th shaps of object, the tracks he should see were hidden by the sand and if any were made were long swept away by now.
Failer fort 1-20 +9 =27
pass
it was odd it did not afect him as it should, heat kills lots of non native inhabitence for they are not use to it, and underestimate it an die, but not him, he as ajusted the first day he got here, he was the only elf not to worry about the sun and bad heat, he my just live out here afterall.
