your history will tell you these tribes were once allies, and form the look of it both sided leaders were not here to give orders, in history most clan leaders are in major battles and both are missing no bodies found of them. 11 survival will tell you they did not make camp here so this was the place of the main battle yet they did not spend a night here. They did not bring with them much food buts lots of water, most of it has spilled into the sands and dryed up. The food could not be easly eaten for most of it is rotten by this point, and sand on it does not taste good.
14 healing will tell you something odd, It was sharp claws and very large poison stab wounds but not in the shape of weapondry. It was these two things and only these two things that killed all of them you know its consistent with desert Scorpion Venom.
Just then Dawn gets a warning danger is in the sands for objects were moving under the sands and comming closer and closer to the party that was all looking over the area and bodies.
the sands are moving in an abnormal way.
So im not able to put up maps of the area so ill do my best to discribe the location
the river is to the west of the party as of right now its not that close by, the bodies were found in the west side sands of the river, but found just outside and around the shading area, the sand moving is comming form the north west, west and south west in what is called "pincer" formation.
since everyone did inspect the area, everyone is in that area a bit away from the river near the shade with the dead bodies scatared all over the sands and a bit in frount of them 60ft away, Out pops 3 black scorpions.
just to be clear they are Gargantuan sized.

Callo turned towards the new threat, wondering if the creatures were hunting or had been compelled to act and aware that she was not well prepared to deal with such threats without the use of magic - a fact that causes her to hesitate watching for others to act first.

Nokomis cries out to the dragons, "Take to the air! Stay out of reach of those tails!"
Nokomis then leaps into the air (thanks to her magic armor hidden under her robes) and lands at the base of the tail of one of the scorpions. She then tries to slice off the tail between two of the segments. She hope the scorpion can't reach that part of it's body.

Callo looks towards Nokomis and nods, a pair of great feathered wings sprouting from her back as she hops into the air, using her innate abilities to harden herself against attack. Concentrating on the scorpion battling Nokomis Callo blasts it with a bolt of magical sound. Her magical follows the bolt down swirling around the scorpion to distract it. She spares a glance for the newcomers, doubting they could escape as easily as Nokomis and herself. Minor shapeshift for 13 temporary hitpoints. Nokomis's attack glances off the hard shell, it did not even make a mark as it bounced off. The tail was just as amored as the rest of the body. It would take a better hit just to penitrate the outer shell. She does see however on its back and tail a symbol. K( religion) to know what it is. The dragons took the air as told and go help Nokomis. The blue dragon knew he had to aim well so not to hit her in cross fire. He flys 60 up and 60 over. and his aim is stright down and a lightning blat flys out and strikes down in the well aimed spot. The sand dragon will fly to the back of the one Nokomis is on and is 25ft a way from it. it lets out a scionic dust blast, and hits the underbelly.
( I take it callo does not need to roll to hit for that attack? what attack did you use by chance?)
The damage of the bolt hit hard into the creature, when it was hit, the party hears load hisses, but did little harm. One thing the party did do, was piss it off a lot for now it looked angry if of course they could feel these things.

one took 78 damage but still after all that looks fine. Nokomis is on the middle one currently, it made most logical to go for that one.

( I take it callo does not need to roll to hit for that attack? what attack did you use by chance?) Sorry, attack roll attached. It's your standard garden variety sonic orb and a successful fort save also halves the damage.
