george takes out has his rations, and starts to eat rather fast. so the other 3 can eat the berry. when he is finished " Ok time to help me put up the tent, its goint to be a bit cramped but at least we will not get wet. we can use the sail as a secondary . Vadania your in charge of set up to keep water out of it. let me know what you need.

Unfolded the canvas is quite large, more than enough to prop up over the top of the open hatch, weigh down at the corners, and with the help of a few spears driven into the ground to lift it up in the middle it even serves as a makeshift tent alongside Georges.

Within the hour the rain comes in and those not on watch sort through the oddities pulled from the hovel, the collected coins of gold and silver not an unreasonable haul though most of the other items are junk.

The first watch is uneventful, but as the moon rises over the clouded sky and Vadania begins to think about sleep she notices that the large canvas has begun to glow slightly, a gold blue light traced across it.

While he eats and prepares to rest, Garrot will take a closer look at the goggles he picked up to see if they are magicky in any way.

As far as Garrot can tell, the goggles do nothing.

Nothing magical anyway but they are handy for looking under the water.

Obviously it's magic is associated with the moon. But it's still a mystery of what it does. Vadania wakes those sleeping under the magic canvas, it's their watch anyway.

Garrot will stare at the glowing item in fascination. He muses to himself and is amazed at all of the weird things they have seen lately.

Acting on a hunch, Vadania makes sure that the canvas is draped over the mysterious mechanism as in actually in contact with it. Maybe the canvas will recharge or repair the mysterious mechanism. She'll then sleep under the canvas with Ylva. She's a little concerned on what effect the magic would have on her, but only a little. She feels that whatever the canvas is doing, that it's more likely to be some kind of beneficial magic than harmful. The circumstances of use are just too cumbersome for something intended to harm others.

Since no one volunteered, how about Garrot and Lynette? Then Vadania and Ylva will take their place under the magic canvas.

Garrot will take up the next watch. He will put his goggles on his forehead and try and remain alert throughout his watch.

So ka'lion is without internet for next few days, he has told me to indicate that ka'lion would be in wolf form and take the last watch.

The rain has mostly stopped by the time of Garrots watch and the forest is uncomfortably silent and conversation with Lynette is kept at a minimum to avoid revealing their campsite to any nearby.

As the watch wears on Garrot notices the glow behind them getting brighter and he and Lynette get up to look - the glow across the surface of the canvas has formed into lines and shapes, shifting like a living starmap and coalescing at the center into a complex symbol of intersecting lines and circles.

Lynette whispers, "i've seen ... something like this before. A man that Xana knew, a summoner, he bound a suit of magical armour to himself with a symbol like this"

I do have a question if they wake him. does it look like the symbol of my god? for its something he would use, the lines and things that is.

( no rush, i know ka'lion should get internet soon, most likly Tuesday. i was just was seeing where things were left at is all, i know people have father's day today and a day off work.

To save time, what skill rolls would be needed to figure this might be clue out? If religion is not applyable what skill would it be?

Arcane, religion, and planes will get different information, but it's highly limited (especially from a religious angle) due to the nature of the thing.
