Ya'll gotta see this movie. New director rocks and the special effects are out of this world. Not to mention that Daniel (and Emma, according to my brothers) are growing into total hotties. Can't wait for the next one!

Ack...what do the acronyms stand for? It's probably something really obvious I'm missing.

Ah.
Haven't seen it yet...loved the book. It was definitely better than SS or CoS.

The darker tone helped the series to graduate from kiddie books to a series for all ages. Loved seeing Hermione sock Malfoy. In my opinion, SS was a great introduction to the series. CoS was my least favorite book, until OotP came out last November. Then, in the classic Rowling way, most of the references and hints make sense.

Saw that movie myself last night. I enjoyed it, but the maor thing that bugged me (aside from the plot points they left out from the book) is that the castle wasn't the same anymore. The castle and grounds may as well have been a brand new movie series. There was no continuity from teh last movies to the new. For instance, hagrid's cabin moved suddenly down a huge hill? The entry hall for the castle has a gigantic clock in it now?? I certainly don't remember that in the other movies or the books for that matter.
No more ranting. Bye.

I was totally disappointed by this movie. The third book was the best book, but the movie didn't nearly meet my expectations of it. Seriously, the best part of that movie was watching Emma Watson.
