Barbatos maintains his psychic spell, though it was difficult to judge the effectiveness of such a thing on an unconscious animal.
Illusory Ambush (Bear 1) n86URpQBp_1-20+9 vs will p_1-5+6 psychic damage, and if the bear awakens it will have -2 to its attack rolls until the end of Barbatos's next turn (Barbatos will also use his orb to extend the duration of last turn's effect on Bear 2 into this next turn)1-201-5

I want Stravanya to deal the killing blow so is there a way if zem did just enough to bring its hp down but not deal a killing blow?

Even the most wounded still have more HP than anyone in the group. They're bloodied, but a long way from dead. I don't think you need to worry about killing one with one blow But in any case, if you do the final HP of damage, you can decide to knock it out instead of kill it, saving the killing blow for someone else.

Standard Action: Deadly Stride (shift toto B7) Stravanya's Deadly Strike was indeed deadly and would have slain a lesser foe. But although seriously wounded, the bear she targeted still lived.

Yes, it does maximum weapon damage for the attack (2d8+4= 20) plus extra critical damage from the magical weapon, in this case an extra D6. Stravanya got to extra dice, one for a magical weapon, but the other was because her weapon is a high credit weapon, one that does extra critical damage even without being enchanted. Zem damage: 20+ AclVYO0Ip_1-6 =21 Zem strikes the sleeping bear before him hard. But bears are so tough that it continued to live. 1-6

Bennegar does another Weapon Master Strike, prepared to punish the bear if it wakes up and tries to get out of the kill without between himself and Stravanya.
Attack:1NeVxRq9p_1-20 +8+2 (flank) =27 Damage: 8+4+p_1-6 =14
Bennegar stabs the sleeping bear. Lizzie cries out with glee as she samples the bear's blood. The bear (#1) is getting near death but isn't quite there yet.1-201-6

The bears finally rouse themselves from their magically induced slumber. They are both badly wounded and still prone, but are no longer helpless targets.
Those in melee have combat advantage (both from flanking and the bear being proud, but it doesn't stack with itself). Those at range have a -2 to hit. And hits are no longer automatically critical's.
Tag all.

Seeing the bears rousing Barbatos focusses his efforts on the nearest of the pair and then moves into better cover - the bears had already decided he would make a nice meal.
(both bears should be at -2 to attack in this turn from the previous magic, after which just one bear will be affected - if Barbatos can hit it) Illusory Ambush (Bear 2) and then step to F12 7NPiad9zp_1-20+9 vs will p_1-6+6 psychic damage, and the bear has -2 to its attack rolls until the end of Barbatos's next turn1-201-6

It's waking mind ignores the illusion. Only the most recently attacked bear (#2) had minuses. But since the bears didn't wake up till the end of their rounds, the bears didn't get any attacks at all and couldn't even get up from prone position. Sleep is a very powerful spell for first level. At least two rounds of attacks before the earliest the target can attack back. The bears missing saves has left them in bad shape.

I need harknail to go before Zem does given the flanking he gets from where im am standing currently. I'll need to move on my action so then he would not have the flank if i moved before he did. I have not seen an action for him for this round yet.

OOC: no problem
Harknail issues a Call of Challenge to both of the bears and renews his Divine Challenge on the bear before him (#2). Then he uses his Holy Strike to attack the bear. Attack:CDc1UYwBp_1-20 +9 +2 (flanking)= 23 Damage:p_1-8 +6=11 Harknail's blow hit, but he did not inflict a great deal of damage. Harknail specializes more in taking damage than in dealing it.1-201-8
