Menwhile : A band of adventures find themselfs locked in jailcells. few of them tried casting spells to no prevail. Some had been locked up since the time when The Red Dragon Army stormed the Dwarf Capital. Countless Dwarfs died that day. After the bloodshed was over the ones who did not die were improsioned set to do hard labor. They did said hard labor tasks and The Red Army kept a ever watchfull eye. Yet some were given tasks that were outside the normal go dig in the mine. Some teams were given premission to find any criters or monsters lurking in the tunnals and slay them. If at least one of the team did not report back within 5 days, then all thier blood-relitives of any who went on the mission would be harshly punshed. If it was seen as an attempted excape then blood relitives would be publicly slaine. All issued gear must be returned upon reporting back in. however it gave the captives time to think out excape routs to one day free themselfs of thier shackels.
The human was captured by Drugar slavers only 3 months ago. Thier cell was just across the way from a female dwarf who seamed to have a few injuries from her last excurtion on the scouting team.
The Dragonborn spoke in common
" Your to make sure our scouting teams don't die when they return, no magic is to be used unless you want a floging if not worse. Your have a medical kit and basic gear. If you can not keep them alive with what you are given, you will no loger be at this taks. your task new work the mines. you said u can heal then prove it. You will return all your gear given after your done each day. If you make yourself usefull then we will see you going on the scouting trips to keep them alive out on missions.
As time pressed on the human and the dwarf began to trust eachother and hide away gear when they could. It was getting harder and harder to stash what they needed given lack of hidding places. when two more humioniods non gnome and dwarf were escorted into cells near the other two. They were rather tall so perhaps half elfs or just regular humans. They soon showed The jailers they could help on the scouting missions as well as the abilty to help the others excape. It was soon ralised that one of the skierts had a deep frount pocket. usefull magic iteams even common ones could be put into it and yet it always had space for more it seamed. However it would not open within the cells given magic did not work within the cells. None the less plans to get out were falling into place with now a way to store gear it became more hopfull that a brakeout could end up working for the very first time from the The Red Keep.
your 4 characters have now spent about 2 months since the 4 of you teamed up. You each know eachothers name by this point
Fiseath,
Katril
Arianna Haven

Have we been able to investigate the prison itself? It's general layout and at least a rough estimate on how many guards? That's what were here for, as I understand it.

If we've been working together, sharing cells etc, I have some questions for the other three players.
1. Who/what is Katril? All I'm seeing in her post is a pic. Elfy something or other...? 2. What does Fiseath look like (inc. gender unless unclear)? 3. What is anybody's personality like? Especially Arianna if we've been bonding longer.
My own answers to such questions: Kizthe ("Keez-ta") is dark-haired and -eyed with reddish skin, lean and compact for a dwarf. She kisses the guards' arses pretty shamelessly, feeling it necessary to gain the leeway she's been given, but doesn't hide her burning hatred of the Red Lords and their lot from comrades (which I presume we all are after two months of imprisonment and labor together). On the job, she's dour and cautious, and as efficient as possible.

Katril's character sheet is links to PDF pages. Apprently these don't show up on all phones. Both Katril and her twin brother Fiseath are Elven monks, though different paths. Fiseath can launch ranged m blasts at will. Katrill IS a ranged weapon! More specifically she moves VERY fast and can still attack. She also keeps a long bow in her skirt. They are both disquised as humans so as to not be killed by the guards, but you've probably figured it out by now. We've been together long enough that you know that she's neutral good. Having spent many years in a monastery, Katrill is quite and generally doesn't speak unless she has something to say. She is a perfectionist, and drives herself hard because of it. And she feel like she fails and is unreliable. On the other hand,5 she is very graceful, her every movement is like a dance, especially when she's fighting. When they were young kids living on the street, she'd dance as a distraction while her brother picked pockets. In general she'll do anything for her brother. Here's an image for Fiseath:

to Players few questions : Your only section you know well is in the photo that and the tunnals you take to investigate, however your to come in at same entry point each time you come back in. Your not sure exactly how many gaurds there but you see 15ish gaurds rotating, yet only one or two stop by the scouts section to drop off your tunnal orders and food/water. Each have shifts but they don't always send the same ones to same locations to gaurd jail every day. So its hard to keep track of just how many there are at any one time.
your best count is about 30ish yet from the info you gather the jail is now 3X what it use to be/hold so it has to have quite a few gaurds so perhaps a lot more then 30.
Over seeing the mines you see about 6 Red army Gaurd with about 2 or 3 of them with chains or whips.
About 7 different tunnals are mined with the scouts checking them before a new tunnal comences mining out. The goods that are mined out such as platnum ore also amoung that are gems and rubies etc then are all dumped down a centrail hub. On top of that it 3 stone gaurd towers all with what you can tell are better traind Red Dragon Army. Then its persumably sorted sent to inside the inner Keep and never seen again.
The important thing of Note: This area is goverened by one Of the Red Dragon Lords. He is never seen only that even the Red Dragon Army never speaks ill of him.
the Doors are renforced Iron and also steal Doors. In many location within the jail iron gates that are raise and lower ( can't recall spelling) so if a fight did brake out the iron gates would be shut while the dragonborn used breath weapons and special longbows that seamed to use thier strength of pulling back the string and not thier finess like normal bows did. There is a animantian outter gate from ground to the top of the cave with arrowslits the are used to shoot out so a fruntal attack whould at best case take out some of the gaurd but extreamly hard to breach head on.
Given none of you caused truble they now put you in a low max security area as seen on the map.
yes Your Goal was to get a head count but you never were let in ferther into the jail to sight see as it were. You all do know the jail is connected to The Main Stronghold given you have a local who grew up here.
( I can't give the hole map of the jail given it takes about an hr to set each section and upload. so its not feasable to give the hole map at this time. )
To the last count there is at least 300 dwarfs woman and kid included were captured how many still alive not so certain of.

Katril says to Fiseath, "I think we've learned all we're going to learn here. It's about time we go back and report." While said softly enough that the guard can't hear, she isn't keeping it secret from those in the cell with them.

Kizthe's ears perk up. "Wait. What are you..." Comprehension dawns on her face - there's a lot of information she lacks here but she's a sharp one. "You're plants. You were plants the whole time and now you're going to just up and leave." Her eyes narrow. "I'm not ready. My people aren't ready. if I had the routes fully scouted and cleared I could get them out, but we're not ready yet. If you just go I'll have to explain it to the guards, and if I go with you they'll...they'll k-" Narrowed eyes now widen, and she looks on the verge of a crisis.

Katril answered, "After all this work to gather information needed to rescue the dwarves, we are not going to do anything to risk them! But we need to get this information back so that you can get outside help."

Kizthe's mind races. Outside help. It hasn't even occurred to her that anyone on the outside is in a position to help her people, or would even care. Immediately she thinks of the secret route she's been scouting.
"...Do you have a means in place to get out of here? Because I may know a way out, but it'll mean coming with you, and I need to make arrangements to keep that from bringing reprisals onto my family."
Her mind races as she starts cooking up a plan...

She knows a hidden route out yes.
How to get there and not alert the gaurds or even if your going 4 thats to is up to party of they try or not.
If they try to free anyone along the way, if they dont. All of these things are still very much undecided at this point.

Arianna doesn't talk much... when she does talk it is a very abrupt and she is super angry that she is stuck in prison, and make me heal them like a puppet on strings. she has two different coloured eyes. one is green and the other blue. she is above average height.
If the Twins know a why out and in they should go and alert the outside world and hopefully come back without causing to much commotion and we can maintain the appearance that we are helpless and if we are trying to get more then us out at this point or if we want just us we can all leave... but if we all leave they know something is up and start a search party and make it harder to break more people out

Fiseath is similar to his twin sister (what a shocker). He tends to be quiet due to training for so long at the monastery, and will often contemplate for long periods of time before acting unless he must act immediately. Prior to joining the monastery, the two were on their own. Being orphaned Elven children, they had difficulty surviving and had to resort to theft in order to eat. One of their marks turned out to be a monk from the monastery who decided that their talents were wasted on petty theft. Fiseath felt somewhat guilty for using Katril's skill at dancing in order to steal and is grateful to the monastery for allowing them to redeem themselves. Having grown up, Fiseath never lost the skills he learned while on the streets. Picking locks and slight of hand were two rather skills that he can now utilize against the enemy that forced him to learn it in the first place - the Red Army. Fiseath cares greatly for sister and only known family member, Katril.
Fiseath ponders to himself for a bit. While he does want to help the dwarves, it would be difficult to escape without troubling his cellmates. Forcing them to come sounds like it could end poorly for their loved ones as well. Fiseath takes a short look at Katril, then turns to Kizthe and asks, "You mentioned that you are not ready yet, what do you need in order to finish preparations? Perhaps we can assist with this so you can feel better prepared. A little while longer of poor treatment seems to me to be an okay trade if it means increases our chances of freeing everyone. Of course, if you have an idea that will work faster, I'm all ears."

"So what are we doing are we all staying, all going or splitting the party and recon with the outside world... we have to decide as a group and work together but we need to do something or we will never get out."

Kizthe looks around at her fellow prisoners. She seems to reach some sort of conclusion.
"Look...I'm just trying to figure out how to go with you without bringing reprisals down on my family. None of you risk anything other than your own skin when you leave. But they have my whole family in here - my mother, my younger brother, cousins...they already took my father from us when they took over. I lost a sister in the uprising. I'm not going to let the ones I have left get punished for me. I've been too careful for too long."
She smiles now, a spark of mischief in her eyes.
"But if they think we got ourselves killed on the job instead of escaping...not only will my family be spared, but it might buy us some time to move without pursuit. Here's my proposal: When they send us out again, we tell them we need to check out an unstable tunnel branch that may need shoring up - routine stuff, you know. This'll work better if we can find one that's actually already caved in, or even just a pile of rocks that looks like it could have been a blocked passage.
"Then we move some extra boulders into place, some dirt...leave a bit of nonessential gear half-buried. A spare lantern - hey, do you think they buy that you guys are humans? So we leave a lit lantern or two with plenty of oil, maybe an overcloak. There's a lot we could do, but none of it would be as convincing as if we actually find a shaky tunnel to collapse...that might be a stretch, but it could happen. If we're not in a rush we could spend an extra day planting the idea of a bad tunnel and scouting for the best candidate for the job.
"If this all sounds like a cockamamie idea, I won't have my feelings hurt by being told so. I've been working alone for so long before you guys came into the picture that I'm not sure of my own sanity any more half the time. But I know that I don't want to stay, and I don't want to risk my family by letting them know I've scarpered. If you think it'd be a better plan to just go out and come back without me, tell them I got dragged off by a roper or something...I don't know, I'm open to ideas. But you've heard mine, and you know where I stand."
She stops talking, finally, more than she's spoken at once the whole time they've known her. Her face is a careful mask, but a bit of anxious uncertainty shows around the corners as she waits for their response.

Kizthe allows a relieved expression to soften her usually furrowed brow. "So the next question is how much of a rush are we in? I'd free my people yesterday if I could, but if an extra day betters our chances of convincingly faking our deaths...what do you think?"

Katril answered, "No rush on my part, just a realization that I wasn't going to learn more about the situation here by staying longer. A couple more days to make sure departure doesn't cause problems for others is a good investment of time!"
