A nod. "Okay then - so we're in agreement? We go out on another scouting job, find a good, unstable-looking tunnel - or a fairly recent cave-in if that fails - and come back to report it as such, then we go back out and fake our deaths." She tries to keep her excitement down, but things are finally moving after so long...it's hard to keep from bouncing on her feet.

( At this point I'll just do a mini time skip.)
With a plan in hand it does not take long to put it into action.
The next day: The 4 wake up each with a scroll and a wooden box in thier cell.
The scroll is scouting orders and box standard gear and leather armors for those who have requested it.
Sling with 30 small rocks. 1 Shovel, 1 pick axes, a dagger and a small lantern with 3 extra oil flasks and a Hand ax.
A set of 5 touches and a medical kit for the medical escort.
Rations for only 5 days max each.
It reads : Scout of squad 3.
You going down a new shaft to help expand the mining our ever growing need for shaft options. We Demand an accurate report.
If you need anything else other then provided , you dam better have a good reason to be asking for it. Ferthermore it better be returned in best condition possible or take the consequences if you dont. "
About 15 minutes later : Two Red Army Gaurd come in " All Right by now you have read your orders anything you dont want drop off at frount desk as we leave. 4 Gaurds will be leading you to your route and will un shekel you lot once your at mouth of your route .
As normal they are to wait there until your return. After 6th day if you have not shown they will investigate regardless of the dangers. If its found you have bloted. There will be Far Greater punishment on the ones who can still be punched here. Its Time to go. Move out."
The cell doors are unlocked.

Even shackled, Katril could not help but to move gracefully. Still, she always moved that way so today wasn't any different than any other day.

The party flies out, the gaurds walk them to a different part of the jail. As they walk into a larger room there is the same frount desk they have seen many times. Wooden chests are open. The party knows this is place to give back any gear they dont want to take. Each chest had a number assinged.
( just going over a formality that u can let me know what you don't take in a pm that way we can move things along.)
4 gaurds meet you at the double reinforced animatiane door. All the portcullises were up they lead you out the doors and take some turns passing the already explored cave ways. It takes them a few miles away from the mines and the jail. They finaly come to the unexplored area of the mt.
Not to far from them is the hidden cave route. There could possibly be a way the cave ways intersect with eachother yet possibly might not.
They party is then unshakled.

Katril points out that they are going to have a hard time to explore for five days when they only have enough oil for 1 day (assuming 6 hours/flask and that the lantern already has oil). Actually she could still see without light, although not as well. But as far as the guards are concerned she and her brother are humans, who can see in the dark.
the above assumes that this equipment list is not per person, but is to shared:
If we are getting this much per person, then we do have enough light as long as were careful with it and sleep in the dark.

( I was going more off of 8/per oil flask given I was thinking they were in liters. Yet given the question I relooked and they have it as 1 pint per 6hrs.
So np, give yourselfs 7 flasks each and One was already in each of the lanterns. That should last the crew if your using 2 lanturns. Those are the hooded lanterns.
That equipment/gear is for each of you.
I did my best to try and make it clear gear was given and found in each of your individual cells. Each with a note on it with your orders. ).

I assume we also have some way to carry everything, a backpack or at least a sack.
Katril lights her lantern and leads the way into the unexplored area.

As they get underway, Kizthe's instincts and training kick in. She's on the job now, eyes scanning around for relevant tunnel features and signs of subterranean life.

While trained to notice small details, Katril really wasn't that good with wilderness settings. She was more of an urban girl, if you can call the inside of a monastery urban...

Arinna being a Cleric is use to having to maintain calm and know my surroundings so i can help my patients to the best of my ability is use to looking for safe spaces to work
