( Kizthe passive perception yes she would have seen an off shot section that led to a large enough outcropping to fit the party. Your not sure if its the den of another monster but when you passed it it was empty.)

Kizthe stares at the kenku for a moment, taken aback somewhat by the mimicry, but quickly regains her focus.
"The closest thing I saw to a decent prospect for a resting site may or may not be claimed by something, but it isn't too far back down the way we came if you want to chance it. Anyone have a better suggestion?"

( so ill move things along unless there are any objections. )
The two smaller groups now traveling together is a bit slower going given how big the group is.
About 45 mins pass and a off shoot path is found but its very narrow so it harder to move past. Yet about 35 feet in it opens out into an area with quite a few webs on old broken statues yet its surrounded by cave wall other then the one path in or out.
With the groups over all passive perceptions the spiders who made these webs haved passed on into the afterlife broken sheilds and ax heads along with the skellitons of the spiders. It seames as tho not enough of a food source came down this way and when it did, it did not go well for the inhabitants tho some bones of smallfolk could be found.

Wind inspects the webs and searches for anything useful, mundane or orherwise, before he sits to take a rest.
The sound of a light, whistling breeze eminates from him.

Kizthe looks around again at her new companions, now that they're at rest. She wants to ask more questions but instead sits and studies them, content to let others converse for the moment.

Omar does not have a lot to say.
Wind there is not much to find other then bones and broken sheilds and weapons badly pierced armors that would take a while to mend. Yet given the rust it would be almost impossible. however he does find caught in a web a maul with ruines on it. It seamed to have concaved the side of a giant spider. Looking at its well placed aim its caught inside the rib cage.
It was so lodged in and was not able to be pulled back out. Wind sees this portion of the battle was in the dark very corner of the room.
It would take a great raw force to try and pry it lose.
(Dm note: Is party taking a long or short rest)

(If anyone is suggesting a long rest it will be a surprise to Kizthe. Does she see Wind as he makes this discovery?)

Wind glances around the room before he takes his rest, when he sees a strangely shaped item in the corner. He gets a closer look, Hmm, a maul. Brutish weapon, but maybe someone could find it useful.
He begins to back up a bit, but rethinks his strategy. Smashing the bones as a charging bull would probably work, but a bit too noisy.
Instead he extends his hands, which become claws as a corrosive acid secretes from them (Primal Savagery). He grabs the bones and attempts to pry the weapon from them.

(Sorry guys, last week before elections always make for a hellish week. Varis doesn't need a long rest at the moment. So unless it feels like its that time of day where we're all starting to tire, he'd be good to go.)
After his sudden hug, Varis remains quiet during the march, lost in his inner thoughts. He had never thought to see an elf again, let alone two. They weren't dead yet. He would see to it that they survived whatever was to come. The world needed them. As the party finds a spot to rest, Varis takes watch near the entrance, guarding for any sudden visitors.
(If Varis notices Wind, he would go over to offer a hand. If Wind has it taken care of, then Varis will maintain his standing watch.)

Wind is able to get out the weapon by using his acid claws to cut away the outside bone that kept it lodged in. The weapon oddly was quite heavy more then typically ones. Wind manages to hold onto it but not sure how long he can before he arms would tire out.
Varis and the others sees wind get it out ok, but his grip on the weapon does not seam all that sound for carrying.
( brief dm note : unless party memeber
A ) is clearly out of direct eye sight ie invisibility or around a corner a good leghth away. Hidding in a crowed on main city street, in separate location more then 60 feet away with turns, walls and doors in the way. So basically anything that prevents direct eyesight ( dence fog or rain or snow storm) not likly to happen in campain due to locations but all of these used more so as examples of blocked eye sight to ones members.
B ) made a stealth roll to hide ones self while doing x,y,z task. This is vs passive perceptions
C ) made a slide of hand roll to hide ones action from others. Also vs passive perceptions
Both b and c use passive perceptions unless otherwise stated by dm this way we dont go for a while if players forget to roll and things can keep at a good pase.
Other then those main 3 the party is assumed party would see what the others go and do for simplicity sake for a online game. Yes there are possible more then those 3, yet to keep it simple for online posts its best to keep it concise as possible. If others due come up i really rather not stall game cause of it if at all possible. )

( I will also note only the dwarf knows the time of day while underground.)
( Also i for verification reasons did not know when party members said a place to rest it was specified of the 2 options they were going to use. I also needed to know given the 2 clerics if they were to prepare new lists of spell solections or not to. In future please do best to define if you want a short or long rest. Flavor text is awasome yet an added ooc info to party and dm helps me track what rests were used when.)

Wind holds the weapon out to Varis then sits and contemplates what the future holds.
(Short rest is fine for me.)

I think already in prison group is early in their work day, so a short rest is best for us (I could be wrong about how long we've been exploring)

Occ : Both teams explored about 1 hr and a half to 2 hrs and a quarter past. ( 2hr 15 mins) so yha short rests for both teams made the most logical but did not want to assume on my end.
Varis its fine craftsmanship you have not seen in quite some time. It has ingavings in dwarvish. " Throw me. "

Varis holds out his hand when Wind passes over the strange weapon he dug up. He gives him a nod of thanks before inspecting the weapon. He was surprised by the weight of it, but noticing the dwarvish runes engravings told him all he needed to know. They weren't known for their elegance.
(I might have missed it, but what type of weapon is it? Just so I know before I just heed its request to throw it. Also, I'll spend the short rest seeing what I can learn about it.)

( unless varis is trying to attune to it spend time with it wont do him much good.
The weapon is a maul with ruines on it. )

Maneuvering the weapon within his hands, Varis walks over to the human cleric, eyeing them up and down. While not elvish, there was no denying the craftsmanship of the weapon. However, it would be far to lumbering for his preference. Holding the weapon up, he nods toward the cleric,
"Think you could handle it?"
(Will also go ahead and roll my hit dice for the short rest)

While the group takes a moment to rest Callo introduces herself to the newcomers, asking about the number of prisoners and guards above and the frequency of visits from outside of the prison. A good way to break the ice.

Katril will pass on what she knows of the guards movements. She has a good idea the guards between the caves and the groups cells, but doesn't know the situation in the general holding cells for those forced to work in the mines.
Were any of us prisoners transferred from the regular cells?

Arianna takes the weapon from Varis and will take the time to attune to it
"I think i will be just fine... thank you. I know you don't know me and we just met, but you have a lot of faith. I can respect that"
Arianna just looks over Varis.
i would like to see if i can tell if he is doing okay. like he will be able to continue this journey and can tell what is going on emotinally i guess
