Yes, once freshly animated ice-covered naga and the ice-spider swarm (which is too small to catch everyone so is currently chasing the wolves).

Archibald will move to the ice creature and use his Douse the Flames maneuver to attack it.

Wjh9Apxxp_1-20+13 = 18 to hit (19 or 20 if they're evil/chaotic or chaotic evil); p_1-4p_1-4+7 = 13 (14 or 15) damage if it hits; on a hit, it can't make attacks of opportunity for this turn.

This should hopefully give us some room to maneuver against the actual foe.

Archibald takes up position against the fresh ice creature, while his attack has limited effect he does block its path as he did its predecessor. He can only hope this fight goes better than the last.

Vadania trusts Moriana to make a good choice as to what to do.

Ylva pursues the swarm, and while her bites do little to cut into their numbers she and the other wolves have at least drawn them away from the rest of the party.

Still hovering above the fray Moriana turns and unleashes a fireball at the new demonic threat hoping that it shares the same weakness as those it had summoned, but through the flash and the heat the demon seems little harmed as it casts its gaze across the party before settling on Brenner and the staff he carried.

In a voice that is deep and rumbling and yet still seems to scratch painfully at the ears it speaks, "the one you seek is gone, my master sends his regards". And with that it lets out a terrible deafening roar that seems to shake the cave itself.

Even as the party grasp at their ears against the assault the fresh naga continues to move, this time not pressing the attack against Archibald but instead spreading its limbs to block the passageway to escape.

The party braces as soon as the new threat is seen, shields and defenses raised long before the sonic wave can strike them. The quick reactions and battle hardened reponse ensure that the group and their equipment emerge largely unscathed and still able to push the attack.

The damage is limited by Vadanias bow draws the creatures immediate and complete attention, perhaps recognising the power of the silver flame that had entrapped its companion.
Its reaction was perhaps a promising sign that the demons knowledge of the party was incomplete.

Neera for her part pushes against the next of the demons frozen constructs. While sure that it could be destroyed there seemed little to prevent another from rising in its place while the demons magic held out, but perched - if one could use such a word for so large a beast - high above there was little that Neera could do to reach it without aid.

Archibald will tap his last charge of Throat of Tears for 12 THP. He will spend the rest of his turn refreshing his Swordsage maneuvers, in the hopes of using Shadow Jaunt next turn to teleport to an unoccupied space (the one directly above the demon, specifically - wait, is that how it's orientated? Let me know if now and I'll change my action).

Brenner, meanwhile, will use a charge on his Wand of Scorching Ray.

(For reference the demon is on a near vertical section of wall, dug in with its smaller clawed-legs - the wall is rough enough to climb for the proficient and the demon could likely be dislodged with enough force or damage to the surrounding area, but there is no ledge other than landing on the demon itself)

As Archibald and Neera prepare to take the charge of the ice creature a small form runs between their legs and jumps up towards it before suddenly surrounding itself in a field of force that pins the unwieldy undead back into the entrance cave unable to move forward and to bulky to squeeze around.

Vadania catches sight of the creature and recognises it as Morianas curious cat-like familiar, caught in a force sphere likely of the mages own creation. She cannot afford to turn her eyes from the demon for long however as it belches forth a bubbling and boiling stream of acid towards her, the force of it almost throwing her to the ground as it melts both ice and rock around her - though thankfully lingers only a moment as the magic of it dissipates (34 acid damage - less any protection Vadania may have).


Unlike the undead and constructs the party have faced this enemy does not seem likely to be easily distracted, and Vadania clearly has drawn its attention.
