I am DMing a tabletop D&D game with some friends tonight and have nothing prepared. Help me craft a quick plot. Here are the guidelines:
2nd level characters. Standard 3.5 D&D. We must be able to complete the adventure in one sitting of 4-6 hours. There needs to be a least a little roleplaying involved and at least a little combat.
So please, suggest a hook or an encounter that you've got sitting in a notebook. Or maybe tell me about anything that your group did in the past that you found entertaining. Thanks

If it would help, you can look back on the Shorts games I did. They should be able to play out in that much time.
When I run the Shorts, I make them up on the fly, so I don't have any extras floating around. Sorry.

Try Mythmere's Wondrous Resource---I believe he's got some well-crafted adventures there. He holds adventure creation contests from time to time, and posts the winners there.
