Ah, I dont get it: whats so funny about it? The guy's playing D&D...  What was strange is that they say "D and D" which really annoys me. |

Well, it made me laugh and remember why I like D&D so much. Not that I was laughing *at* the people playing D&D but rather laughing because I thought "Oh yeah, my group does that too."
It was also interesting to hear a hobby of mine examined by a reporter I listen to all the time. I suppose I should have said "Very cool. I laughed in some places."
On the pronunciation - NPR is notorious for enunciating things. You should hear their announcer read off a website address like "www.whatever.com" He lingers over each syllable in "w" saying "dub-a-u-dub-au-dub-a-u"
