Ah, the sounds of battle... so pleasantly distant from the wizard. Caelith happily takes his time, letting another spell course through his body.
And then he moves into the Rope Trick, contentedly disappearing from view.

Japic, in regards to casting spells, would we all need spellcraft checks to know what is going on? If so, would Krysta and Adelia be granted Spellcraft checks from the spells being cast, since they should be able to hear them? If so, then DC 17 Spellcraft for her Shield Other spell... The Spellcraft skill says if you can see or hear it, you can get a spellcraft check. Since spells have to be stated boldly and gestured firmly, this usually isn't a problem, even at a distance. I'd say you get the check, though Japic's welcome to put situational modifiers for distance. {Oops, I guess it's me holding this thing up.}
Feeling the arrow pierce his shoulder, Malanuus snorts loudly. Here was this tower of muscle walking towards him, this beast of a half-man like himself. Clearly a competitor worthy of glorious battle. ...And he's backed by a midget with a needle-spitter. What was this? Team battle day in the arena? Where was the honor in slowly advancing while having your enemy weakened with arrows from behind? Bah! No matter. Malanuus would get to them all in time. First would be the human he just sent flying South. Then the human that dared to interfere with his combat. Then this giant and his tiny friend. Malanuus hefts his axe and moves South...
{OOC: Again, I am so sorry Romar. } Move to this position; \--MM---- \-MM---- \--R-----
Normal movement, should be 30ft. Bring up axe and attack. Primary Attack @ +17 [dice=20] [Die Results = 16 + 17 = 33] If Hit, Damage Results = 3d6 + 15 + d6 cold. [dice=6] [dice=6] [dice=6] +15 [dice=6] +cold [Die Results = 5, 3, 2 + 15 +6 = 25 + 6 cold.] Romar is already backed to a wall, no need to brutal surge. If AoO is incurred from horse, AC should be 18 after recovering from the charge. {It looks like I owe Romar a rematch where he can begin mounted and on the other side of the battlefield. }[rand=78329664192694990235727555234356373252416666944095676332282630536]

wow ouch... you know having Malanuus bust in right behind you might not have been so bad, had it not been he also went before you since romar is out, unless he has DR My turns ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ok now Alton, seeing the Minotaur running from his large friend, will pursue! moveing to the west then to the south west Small Mighty (+1) Composite Shortbow of Bane against Undead (+1 to hit for MW, +1 to dam for Mighty, as a +2 with 2d6 extra damage against undead) Ranged - +10/+5 (BaB 6/1 + 4 Dex) trying to shoot Malanuus. If i can Charge (i have a problem reading the map, it just kills my eyes) then Girud will Charge the minotaur! {+1 Axiomatic Greatsword attack, two handed: +17/+12 to hit (+9/+4 BaB, +6 Str, +1 feat, +1 weapon) 2d6+12 dmg (+9 str, +2 feat, +1 weapon) Crit 19-20x2.} {extra 2d6 damage to chaotic creatures, bypasses lawful creature's damage reduction} If the Minotaur is out of charge range move down in front of Alton, to protect him from the charge. Then, if i can go full defence.

Adelia will delay until top of next round, so that I can see how the battle turns out, if Girud is in combat with Malanuus, if Alton hit, if Romar is alive, etc...
Also, it will allow me to post Krysta's AND Adelia's actions without any hesitation...
Japic, your turn!!! (Or should I say Mordrock?)

Sparing no plesantries for the one called Romar, Krysta lets two arrows fly (26/21 vs 19 ac). Both find their marks, jolting the ranger's body with electricity as each finds their way through his armor (20 damage). She then moves slightly, in preparation for the future. {OODM: In future, you can keep the identity of spells secret from other players if you so choose. PM me with the necessary information. I do ask that for offensive spells (such as fireball) that you just put it out there since it's no secret that you just blew the shizzle outta someone with it. Thanks.} Casting another spell Caelith nimbly moves his way up the rope, climbing faster than anyone's (who can see him) seen a body do before. {PM sent to Fangor with spell name.} Moving quickly after his foe Malanuus closes with Romar, leaving his flank exposed to Huna (AoO). Rearing back the horse of metal lashes out with a hoof. [dice=20](20)+10=30 possible crit [dice=20](15)+10=25 Confirmed [dice=6][dice=6](3,3)+10=16 damage The strike is good (16 dam) but not enough to stop the minotaur. Malanuus closes the distance and brings his mighty axe about in a whistling arc (33 vs 19 ac). Like a scithe through wheat Romar crumbles to the ground, the blade having done its bloody work (31 dam). (Romar to -20 hp, dead. If you have any sort of immediate action or resistances that would save you please speak now or forever hold your peace.) Moving once more the small scout Alton closes farther with the minotaur, taking cover from the large central pillar and staying out of Girud's way. He draws back on his bow and looses an arrow at the Minoatur's back. [dice=20](7)+11=18 [dice=6](3)+1=4 dam The small arrow again flies true, catching the minotaur in the back of one of his broad calves (4 dam). It might not be much damage, but even the largest of giants can fall to the smallest of warriors.. eventually. Girud moves ever closer to his foe, knowing in his mind that the Minotaur is too far away to charge. For now he protects Alton, making himself ready for whatever comes. (move 30 feet, full defense) Adelia waits patiently, counting her options. (delay till top of Init) Seeing the ranger Romar fall a team of handlers rush out from the sundered gate and usher Huna from the field. She goes kicking and screaming, but leave she does.

Umm, correct me if I'm wrong, but I took 37dmg first round, and now I take 31. Romar has got 68hp. 31+37=68. I'm not at -20, I'm staggered, at 0hp. Or am I forgetting about something?

Adelia has to make a split decision. There were foes coming from the north and from the west. That horrid beast had already cleaved straight through Romar with such ease. It was time to act...
Casting a spell, she calls forth her deity's power, enfusing her spell with potent divine power. (Divine Spell Power [dice=20]+9 for enhanced caster level of 12 now, for 5d8 Searing Light damage)
Ranged Touch attack, +8 to hit [dice=20]=27, should hit
[dice=8][dice=8][dice=8][dice=8][dice=8]=31 total damage, searing light
Krysta turns a wary eye to her ally. Adelia had become potent in her studies with the clerics. She would have to remember that.
Adelia moves back, to guard herself from the beast, while keeping an eye to the north. This would be a tough one to get out of.... She moves 30 feet placing her in the most opportune place...
Move her exactly 5 squares right, then 3 squares up, as this is 30 feet from where she is. This places her OUT OF LINE OF SIGHT of Caelith, 65 feet from Girud, and out of the charge line of the Mino.[rand=8965878128800351404566274878731977125927683103634713540224298605]

Krysta's TURN!!! Seeing that there were more opponents, she reverts back to her upbringing. Girud was a good warrior, she would have to count on that. Calling out, in her manner, she does the unexpected. "Caelith, East! Flying! We'll battle later!" She would even the odds, as it seemed that Caelith was intent to strike from afar. Girud was always an ally, and this would be no different a meeting. Should they lay these others to rest, then she would call him out and find out the better warrior. But for now, the Mino had to be dealt with... Letting loose another arrow, she tries to bring this beast down quickly. [dice=20]+15, should hit [dice=8]+2[dice=6]=12 damage total She finds her mark, deciding that perhaps she should drop her bow, and meet this threat in melee battle. She then glances down at the fallen body of Romar, and rethinks her strategy. She could take this one out with ease from a distance. It was time to use her bow to its potential... She moves towards Adelia, her bow in line with the Mino, but she never releases the arrow. She had a little bit of respect for something with such power and precision. But not enough to let it kill her... Ok, placing as follows:
_______________________ /-----------------------\ /-------------------------\ /---------------------------\ /-----------------------------\ /-------------------------------\ /---------------------------------\ /-----------------------------------\ /-------------------------------------\ /----------[=]-------------[=]----------\ /-----------------------------------------\ |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| ==|-----------------------------------------| |-----------------a[===]------------------| HH|------------------[===]-------------C----| |--------------G---[===]------------------| ==|-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| |-----------------------------------------| \--MM-------------------------------------/ \-MM-------[=]-------------[=]----------/ \--R----------------------------------/ \-----------------------------------/ \---------------------A-----------/ \-------------------K-----------/ \-----------------------------/ \---------------------------/ \-------------------------/ \-----------------------/ \_____________________/

Caelith, watching idly from his hidden vantage points, whistles a little tune while he pulls the rope into the Rope Trick, rendering it effectively invisible. Naturally, he can still see out of it.
With a pause in his whistling, Caelith takes care of a few other matters from the confines of the rope trick. Let the others wear each other down. He will, as always, play the strategist.((Move action to draw the rope into the rope trick. Then some other stuff, not that anybody can see, hear, or otherwise perceive it PM for Japic.))

{Back to me} Magic! Of all things cowardly and worthy of death, this was one of them. Malanuus fought with honor and glory, not trickery and arcanery. He made himself clear to his enemies and walked without fear, without treachery. His enemies would smell his breath and taste his sweat as he cut them. Magic in a test of arms and strength was unacceptable. With a roar and enraged by the cheap shot, Malanuus charges, eyes bloodshot and mouth foaming....
