Since Desertwolf has dissipated, I'm just going to start the game on monday, unless one last person wants to jump in.

Well, he asked for 1 more player, and several of us jumped at the chance. But I also am in several other games, both online and face-to-face. So don't drop out on my account. For some of the new players, this will be their only game. If they can find their way to the right forums by Monday, I think they should get preference.
Meanwhile, if there is room for me, I'm working on a war-forged Paladin: Buried under the rubble of the old part of the city long ago, he has finally dug his way out to rejoin the war, only to find that the empire he served was long gone. Hundreds of years of isolation have changed him, where he was just a warrior, interchangeable with any other newly made War-Forged warrior, he was now a Paladin. The last words from his human companions were "Pray to Kord", and Harknail has been doing that for hundreds of years. That and a lot of introspection and thinking about the mysterious ways of humans has given him Wisdom and Charisma that he did not formally posses. Now that he has respectfully buried the remains of his otherwise human squad, he is looking another squad to join. A new team for him to support and aid in their cause (whatever that may be). His armor and sword are archaic in design, as is his speech. But both Harknail and his equipment still excel in what they were built for.... War!

New players always get preference here so we really have no problem dropping out. Most of us are in and or running other games.

I always thought Game masters should get preference, if they are willing to all the extra work to run a game, they should also get to enjoy just playing a game.

Hahah yes well, if we run a game it means we are more likely to stick around. We like to get new players active so that they enjoy the boards enough to participate in other games (so we have more players) or until they want to run their own. Plus I don't think there is a GM that isn't already in another game or two.

Deekin invited me in on this off-line. Is there still room for the human rogue?

It appears so, since there are many posts above from players willing to drop out in favor of new players. Including me
