Finding nothing interesting in the last room, and with the portcullis open, the group advances to the next chamber. The room ahead has four stone coffins, all of which show signs of vandalism and abuse. To the left is a series of six niches, set apart into two groups of three. Two more niches along the walls each hold a suit of armor. On the opposite end of the room is a raised section of floor with a makeshift altar set atop it. There is no sign of the kobolds

Doran moves very quietly into the room to look for traps and listen for hiding kobolds, one square at a time. Because anyone behind him will be able to see into the opposite niches, Doran will first move toward the right wall, staying in row 14.

While Doran checks out the right wall, Harknail checks out the left wall. When he reaches the suit of armor in the first niche (A12), he pauses and pokes at it with his sword to make sure it isn't occupied before continuing.

Sanem waits for his turn to step out, but as soon as he is free he moves toward the middle of the room in row 14, but giving himself a good view of the area incase something pops out.

The 'wizard-boy' as the group seems to have taken to calling him, walks into the room to C13 with the spell "Icy Terrain" prepared to cast at the first group of Kobalds he sees.

Gabe frowns on seeing an empty room. "Huh. Well that's a let-down." With Sanem, Harknail, and Doran spreading out to explore the place, Gabullifax sticks towards their starting position, hanging back by the first coffin--which he takes some time to examine a little more thoroughly. He absently glances over his shoulder at Mekarn and Clark as they move in. "Don't go wandering off too far. Never know when there might be an ambush."
Gabullifax is comfortable to let the rogue and agile elf explore the far reaches of the room while the rest of them follow at a slower pace.

Not hearing the familiar sounds of battle ahead, Melkarn knew his prey had lost him. Filled with disgust and rage, He turned around and with an angry yell, he lit the wooden portcullis aflame. Satisfied with his little bit of wanton destruction, he proceeded forward to look for his victims...er...bounties. Casted hellish rebuke on the portcullis. Portcullis is an object so i shouldnt have to make an attack roll, but i will anyways just in case [dice=20] +3 =16 When hit it will deal [dice=6] +3 =5 fire damage and hopefully some ongoing dmg or vulnerability since it IS made of wood and wicker.
Move to a14. Gain concealment.[rand=62469510170311397466362160931703863360446016540527663590113148373]

Gabullifax is comfortable to let the rogue and agile elf explore the far reaches of the room while the rest of them follow at a slower pace. But it's the rogue and the clumsy Warforged that are exploring the far reaches of the room. But Harknail makes up in durability what he lacks in agility (I hope) as he pokes his sword into each niche as he passes by it.
