Here's my understanding of things: There will be no 4e SRD. However, if you buy the books, you'll get free access to updates and online-versions of those books. The D&D Insider subscription is for access to online tools which aid in game playing (e.g. character sheet creation). This seems to be a pretty darn good approach to me.
I'm trying to find corroborating information on Enworld (where I initially read the info) but it seems to be down at the moment (or my work is blocking access to it). I will post links when I find the info.
EDIT: I am unable to find corroborating info on WotC website.

Ok Anyone else interested? I ran through this adventure last nigth with 3 players, and we were nearly tpked by ordinary Kobolds.

How many do you have? If you really think you need one more, I could jump in, and just deliberately try not to influence party actions (since I already know the plot).

Looks like you're not getting any more bites. In the interests of people staying alive, I'll throw in my lot and do my best not to use out of character knowledge.

Almost a complete Party kill by some Kobalds? wow thats some serious power curve, I'd like to think with a little bit of luck that wouldn't have happened...right?
I'm interested in seeing how this will pan out though now.

Monsters scale much better in 4e. Gone are the days of every kobold being the same.
I've seen the stats. Kobolds are indeed capable of taking out a party, especially with some good rolls (and if the players don't try to be at all tactical while the DM does).
I'm curious how it'll play out, too.

When the DM's lowest role that night was an 11, you know you need his dice. Anyway, four players should work. YAY for easily scalable encounters.

I might be interested if you need another player! Yes! Five players! Now I don't have re-balance encounter/tweak treasure.

Same here. I need to make my character still, but I don't have any of the actual character creation information handy. Possible help, or am I gonna have to wait until Friday when I can use the book?

I can sort of walk you through it, but for now you can grab the abandoned dwarven fighter.
1. Choose Race. 2. Choose Class. 3. Choose Ability scores 4. Choose powers 5. Choose gear.,

Well, I know the basic way to do it. I've played D&D before. I just don't have any of the information on ability scores, powers, racial modifiers, etc. I was also planning on being an Elven war wizard.

Hello - just joined the forums. I was going to look into testing the waters of running a game on bb (with 4e) but it looks like from this thread their is low demand right now. Is their room for another player here?

On the contrary, there's enough interest that we could probably split KotS into two different parties, each with around 4 players (assuming you played). There's 6 in the game currently, one more creating a character, and now you. It's up to Deekin how to handle it. He could have you make new characters to join in. He could also see if some of the existing players with a gazillion characters would let you take their characters over. Or maybe some of the KotS players would be interested in playing another 4e game as well. Lots of ways this could go.

If you are looking at 2 parties perhaps I should show my interest in taking part. Which I was about to express as all new players turned up. If you need me or can accommadate me in KotS party 1 or 2 or another 4e game let me know. I have access to all the books so can make a guy to fill any roles really.

I'm willing to make an attempt at running if any players are willing to put up with a DM new to playing via board I don't have the Keep quest so it would be something original. I see the game is under way and browsing through it looks like a few players have dropped already - so I'm not sure there 'are' enough players for 2 groups (correct me if I'm wrong).
