Well, after much reminding from Toptomcat, i am asking whether the players want to get back and carry on? TTC will play, Shakes said a while back she would play, Fangor said yes. Spiral is at them moment too busy at work. The Japanese currently have his family jewels on the chopping block, but he should be able to rejoin us when he gets his latest deadline shifted.
So basically, who wants to play? I need confirmation from:
Japic Chunker Shakes
If i get the go ahead, i'll get K Man to bring it out of the archives, dust it off and get it ready for action!

If you need another player, I'd like to have a go at it.

Sans can have my spot. I don't think I can take anymore dungeon crawling with characters that aren't my own, and I don't really want to make another one.

Thats cool.
Sans, Shakes/Lins's character was an awakened polar bear who was, to put it bluntly built like a brick shit house and hard as nails. You can play him, or have one of your own. I dont mind. I need to PM chunker to see whether he's still up for the game, then we can start.

As I recall, he's also addicted to a thinly-veiled fantasy version of Red Bull. (What kind of nut wouldn't want to play a character like that?) (Also, is anyone else reminded of Philip Pullman's Panserbjørne?)

Ewan is an Urskan who likes to drink Coca-Cola.
Believe me, you'd be ten times more scared of an Awakened polar bear addicted to Red Bull. Those things are cheating.

...OH! The Coke commercials with the polar bears! I get it now. The way it kept getting referred to as a 'stimulant' threw me off- I don't usually think of normal sodas that way.

I think I'll roll up my own character. I'll have one tonight. What are the creation rules? Point buy? Level (ECL)? Starting gold? etc...
Awakened coke drinking polar bear? I might have that one topped. I once applied for a pbp as an awakened octopus wizard being carried around inside his water elemental cohort. At the DM's suggestion, I was even going to have a fish which looked liked Dori from Finding Nemo swimming around inside with me, "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." Hehe.
What is the party lineup? I want to create a character to balance out the team.
EDIT: grammar

I'll play if you'll wait until K wraps up TGMBC. I think 2 or 3's my limit for concurrent games, and I'm at 3.

35 point buy; level 10, with standard starting gold. Forgotten Realms. No known limits on what books to use.

Thats the one. I couldnt remember the points buy. Starting gold is equivilent for that described in the DMG/SRD
We can wait until the end of the gods are crazy, it shouldnt be too long now, then we have a full party line up.

Thanks for the character creation info. Since I'm going to be replacing a tank, I'll create a tank. Wow, sometimes my powers of deduction astound even me.

I promise TGAC will be done soon. Do you want me to pull the game out of archives now?

Yes please K Man, i could do with reviewing everything. TTC and sans can then post up their characters.

I'm impressed. Shakes has already managed to cast her expert eye over a character in a hidden thread. Good work! ;D
As for letting him play that: No problem, but he does have to eat the consequences of anything that happens. If he's careful and everyone survives then TTC is doing well.
And if the encounters are too easy, then i'll just jack them up a little more.

Marimaya's defensive focus should, if carefully managed, mitigate the fragility of the group. The battlefield-control capabilities of her Lesser Globe of Invulnerability, Wall of Ice, and Fog Cloud spells as well as the whole-party defensive buff capabilities inherent in Magic Circle Against Evil is what should do it.
...
In theory. ;D
