In the interest of BS, I also have a few hobbies aside from gaming.
I am heavily involved in a renaissance group, enjoy video games, fantasy novels and rollerblading. Sometimes I am so busy with the rest of my life, I can't find time to roleplay anymore. <sniffle>

First off, aside from free porn for the poor, there's no interest greater than that of BS. Those of you outside my circle should know some of my other hobbies as well. Making fun of BluSpecs for his Volkswagons...Sich Heil!! ;D (Just kidding, the guy does some good work with the vehicles, if you ask nicely, he has a multitudes of pics he'll share...much like a proud father of twins.) Making fun of Japic and his cult "Rennaissance Re-Creation Group." ;D (Actually, this is probably going places someday. If I could ever get over my own Xenophobic attitude towards it, I might try to get a better understanding of it instead of shaking my "evil" stick at it.) Writing. (See the related threads.) Cooking and entertaining. (Like Martha but without the jail sentence.) Reading. (Fantasy and Sci-Fi top the list, but lately reading more Anit-System books than I care to disclose. ) Video Games...I've owned everything but an X-Box. (Something about my games crashing twice a day.) Collecting Wizards of the Crack products including their latest line of models. Prior to that, playing/collecting Chainmail figures. Standing on Soapboxes of various heights and for various lengths of time. Travelling. (In cases my abcenses weren't proof enough.) ....and um,....of course. Lately hosting the coolest online play by post site....[glow=red,2,300]EVER![/glow] PS - TopTomCat...I used to be huge into the model rocket scene man. I loved my "Mean Machine" by Estes. It was the huge 6-foot rocket....yep, lost it on a powerline..haven't launched since.

Well let’s see I’m an Aquarius, with hazel eyes, about 5’8, I’m looking for… shit different sight. Seriously like others on this board I collect and play the WizO’s brand products, which is a challenge on a full time college student’s budget. I also am into 4x4 jeep’s and have a modified Jeep TJ sport ™ of my own with 4” lift 33” tires rear lockers and role cage I’ll try to attach a pict but I don’t know if I have the skizills. Also I rock climb hike camp and just about any another activity I can to get my self out side into the wondrous Rocky Mountains that lie out side my back door. Um School takes up the rest of my time, but I don’t think that’s a hobby.

Bluespecs...what the shizzle is an IPAQ 1945? And what the bizzle do you need it for?
I swear, kids and their friggin toys.
PS - I swear I didn't know I'd have access to a PC here, and technically after tomorrow night, I won't.

Scorpio, if you care. ;D And it's an old joke between thrawn & I that my extracurriculars & hobbies take up 25 hours\day. So now that you know what you're in for... I: play volleyball\basketball\tennis\cross-country(won the league meet on saturday! Woo hoo!) coach volleyball\basketball play Alpha Centauri way too much. attend early-morning seminary(Bible study, but I'm Mormon so we have other scriptures as well) every morning (6:40 AM start time---more fun than a keg of coffee![which I can't have anyway, ALSO b\c I'm LDS]) am a Boy Scout, for which this thread is intended (sorry about the pun) dance hip-hop (picture one 6'1" 16-yr.-old in a class of 5'4" 40-yr.-old moms----apparently though the ad was for teenage boys, they'd take just anyone. Now I have to come up with alternate moves when the instructor says to shake some booty ) take piano lessons tutor math referee basketball. (no, I don't ref while I coach) And my hobbies? I like to write, but I'm just starting. I'd like to go the sf route, myself. I inhale fantasy\sci-fi books like I'm sure everyone else on this site does. I used to do drama, but quit after two years. I love acting; the teacher is just too weird. I know nada about cars, though I'd be willing to learn given time. I'm a pro-level (I think so, anyway) Super Smash Brothers player, and I love to play war games w\my friends. And sometimes, I play a proven-to-be-demonic game called D&D.* What is a renaissance group? *stands for Demons and Destruction. But only when I'm feeling really evil.

First off.. Super Smash Bros (not melee) is the best game EVER. In my opinion anyhow. What my renaissance group is... lets see, some people (KMan) call it a cult because of how devoted and involved you can become. If you've ever been to a renaisance faire you'd probably understand a little better. A bunch of us (about 60 right now) who are interested in the renaissance get together and hang out. We dress in garb (Ren. clothing), sword fight, hold courts, hold revels (parties), do archery, hold tournaments and do many other things. Anyone interested in more info can go to www.mottistone.org. Some of you may be familiar with the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronisims), or the Adrian Empire. They are other groups out there which cater to the same sort of needs. We don't really have anything like this in Denver, so some people I know decided to throw something together. That was about 15 months ago and we are still gathering more members each month. Ok. I'm done. -fin-

Kman, ask your girl friend what an IPAQ 1945 is...she likes it real good! I can't back that up either It's a Pocket PC thats suprisingly enough, been very usefull do far. What's wrong with SSB Melee? SSB character balance was weighted slightly in favor of Ness and Fox. Melee just added plenty of new stuff... I like it... ;D Speaking of GC games, I got Soul Caliber 2 last weekend and I'm LOVING it! I kick arse with Mitsugiri. I even use the wooden sword sometimes, just to get me a REAL challenge

I was just saying that the original, in my opinion, was the better game. In Melee there is just too much going on. In some levels you don't have to worry about fighting your opponents, because the level will kill them and you if you're not careful. I think it's just too messy. There is something to be said for the simplicity of the original. My favorite character has always been Cap. Falcon and I just don't like the way he moves in Melee. I could whoop up some major booty with that fellow. Kirby and Pikachu were my next pics. And on occasion I picked Ness, he was interesting to play, but not a bad character.

Elfquest is an online RPG and while I have never been I here it is like crack. People jack in and next thing they know it’s a week later. Which is good for the company because it is an hourly pay and play thing, or at least previous versions were I haven't kept up with the latest versions. ;D

My favorite was Kirby (gotta love the down-A aerial move when the opponent is over the edge), but after that, it was Link. A very eclectic character, Link can be very good if you know how to use the bombs and the boomerang correctly. Link, in my mind, was one of the best characters for combos.

Hey Merv? I could be wrong, but I believe that Elf Quest is an animated series of books, it's rather comic book like. It has almost a cult following to it.
If you're referring to EverQuest, that is the online RPG that you have to pay for all the time. It has been equated to an online version of crack. It also has a cult following.

Test to bomb? That doesn't sound good. What was the subject? And why do you feel that it went so poorly?
