Howakhan, confronted by the two zombies, utters a native incantation and again light shines from the grimaces and eyes in his holy symbol, this time fully concentrated on one of the zombies. He then channels the energy that sparks from it to one of his allies behind him. "Help me over here," he shouts to the woman he just benefited. Lance of Faith Cleric Attack 1 A brilliant ray of light sears your foe with golden radiance. Sparkles of light linger around the target, guiding your ally’s attack. At-Will ✦ Divine, Implement, Radiant Standard Action Ranged 5 Target: One creature Attack: Wisdom vs. Reflex Hit: 1d8 + Wisdom modifier radiant damage, and one ally you can see gains a +2 power bonus to his or her next attack roll against the target. Increase damage to 2d8 + Wisdom modifier at 21st level.
Will check: [dice=20]+4=7 DMG to zombie J2: [dice=8]=1 meh, never mind with those rolls.
But I'll channel the benefit to Aurea.[rand=105391094918020345581421325085523533143607732578349667848334879466]

Pleased at the effects of his magics so far Bharash is about to unleash another burst of fire at the zombies who have lumbered infront of him when he is surprised to see the halfling nip in front of him blocking his shot.
"Quick little one. Scoot away and I shall burn them away."
Bharash delays until after Perrin has moved away then fires a scorching burst of golden flames centered at I7

Aurea blasts a zombie to death and Bharash burns two more to the ground. Perrin makes a quick retreat barely escaping the claws of one that tears the fabric of his cloak. He turns and brings his blidned foe to the ground with one more fell swipe. Howahkan attempts to blast the last remaining zombie but is unable to aim well as it begins chewing on his neck (11 damage)

Perrin spins, and with a quick flick of the wrist sends another shuriken deep into the zombie. (probably dont have Combat Advantage against him ) [dice=20] +7=9, miss anyway, would be 11 with CA though [dice=6] +8=11 damage to a wall [rand=0352845642822508556959636462789499768877238689671282669465329263]

Seeing just one zombie left Bharash levels his staff at it and a blisteringly cold ray of frost streaks straight past the cleric hitting it in the head.

In reply to the cleric's call for aid, Aurea repeats her curse, this time targeting the zombie that attacked Kowahkan, before unleashing a burst of Witchfire at it.

With the combined force of everyone in the room, you easily fell the the last enemy. The room is a mess of partially burnt corpses and overturned tables. Paec is a befuddled mess, mumbling to himself and seemingly confused what to do. You can only guess he knew one of the zombies, or at least who they were in a previous life.

Howakhan looks at the wounds on his body and frowns, then begins to heal himself through his magic.
[I'm not sure, what is the best way to heal myself? I have healing surges I believe, but I also have powers to heal myself. I got 15 dmg.]
Howakhan then looks at Paec, seeing him mumble to himself. The medicin man then says, with a heavy, slow and very calm voice: "No need to hide any longer, the dead that do not rest are gone. All of them. What worries me is why did they come? Even the dead prefer peace in their afterlife, and their bodies never rise without a reason..."
He did not wait for an answer, instead looking briefly outside through the windows and then he turned to the burning remnants of the zombies. Again taking his holy symbol, Howakhan began humming a solemn tune, and made gestures over the remains with the stick that was his God's symbol. He then also began to dance around the remains, as if performing some holy ritual. Surely the man took this job seriously.

Aurea let her eyes roam about the room, nodding in agreement with Howahkan's words. "An event such as this does warrant looking into." She peeks out the window, looking both ways down the street, then pulls her head back and faces the rest of her fellow zombie-slayers. "I, for one, am interested in finding out what, or who, would cause the dead to return in such a fashion. Such a process is not a natural occurrence."

Shouts of 'Is everyone alright' can be heard from outside. Eventually a young man peeks his head into one of the broken windows. Looking at the mess briefly he sees you gathered together. 'Thank goodness you are okay. The entire graveyard has been emptied and the lighthouse is dark on this foggy night. What the blazes is going on, my daughter is as scared as rabbit in a dragon's lair!'

"Be calm, friend," Aurea gently replies, being nearest to the windows. "We were assaulted by a group of undead, but we have laid them once more to rest. Were there attacks anywhere else in the town?"

"The entire graveyard? I doubt verymuch that these were all that the graveyard contained, where else would be attacked?" Perrin was ready to hunt!

Mowakhan, dancing and humming softly around the bodies, ignored the man that looked in through the broken windows. His own task of giving the spirits of these risen dead back their deserved afterlife and guiding them back to the place where they belonged was far more important right now.
But then the holy man stirred and suddenly stopped dancing, turning rigid and still and staring at the zombie remains that he was dancing over. He then bent forward to pick up something from the skull of the zombie. Reaching out with his fingers into the right eye socket he then retrieved something small and rose again. It was obvious from the look on Mowakhan's face that he was as confused as you are. In his hands was what appeared to be a small symbol shaped of hardened clay.
"The dead wish to speak to us, and do so in many ways. Can anyone here follow the language of this strange symbol?"

The nimble theif eagerly slips over and grabbes the strang object that came out of a dead guys eye, "Hmm.." Turning it over and over Perrin attempts to understand it.

"There is certainly dark magic afoot here tonight. I too am eager to see what is behind these happenings."
Seeing the clay symbol Bharash goes over to try and get a look at it always intrigued by any possibly magical language or text.

The man climbs in through the busted window and looks about some more. 'Attacks? ##@! ya there were. But they all suddenly dropped limp. I didn't check every grave, but between these and the ones I see'n on the street, it has to be close to the entire grave.' After a glance past Perrin the man exclaims 'Oh gosh, here let me take Paec away from here. It appears his sister was a victim of this crime as well' as he looks down upon one of the corpses. 'Look, I'm going to take care of Paec here, I haven't check the dock yet, and the lighthouse is out. If any ships are in the area, this fog is a deathtrap for them.
Analyzing and discussing it with others in the room, Bharash comes to the conclusion that the symbol is part of ritual followers of Vecna once performed to enthrall the dead. If correct the knuckle, most often that of a child, would be found inside it if broken open. After this revelation Howakan comes to the realization the clay appears to be similar in color to the clay fields to the north. Perrin on the other hand figures it could go for an easy 10gp in a market, maybe 20gp from a collector.

After conclusions had been made about the symbol, Aurea pipes up with her opinion of their next step. "If the lighthouse was suddenly put out, it could be that whoever caused these dead to rise may have wanted that. Perhaps we might find a clue up there, not to mention that the lighthouse needs to be re-lit for the safety of any incoming vessels."

Now that the others were talking about taking further actions against the undead and the threat that seemed to have come to this place, Howakhan frowns, obviously in thought. He actually cared less for these people of Moonhaven than for his own people, and his own task had to take precedence. But still, perhaps if they'd help the village against the threat, it might be worth something to the right people. He just had no clue who those people might be.
As such, he finished his rituals on the zombie remains, hoping that his actions had been enough, unprepared though he had been. "Yes," he agreed with Aurea, "we must look through the village and see where else people are in need."
