Doran will Riposte Strike Red 1: And then use an action point to Riposte Strike Red 3: Then he will shift to H8. Should Red 1 or Red 3 attack Doran next turn: Doran hit both of his targets and then retreated. Harknail goes "hit me or else", Doran goes "hit someone else or else" :-)

Gabe strikes at the wererat that charged him and then takes a step backwards hoping that it will follow him and allow Laira to get a quick strike at its flank. OOC: Looks like the attack missed, though I believe that the effect is still valid and that if it shifts Laira will get a free basic attack at it.Gabe misses, but the effect still applies. If the wererat tries to shift, Gabe can have Laira attack it before it actually moves. That means that even if it's trying to shift away, your ally still get to attack it.

Harknail shifts forward (to I7) to keep the wererats from closing in and bottling the group up. He keeps his Divine Challenge on the wererat that can get the furthest past him (red 2), attaing it with a Valiant Strike The Rusty old construct misses horribly. I need to get read for face-to-face games. I won't have a chance to run the rats till tomorrow. :-(Edit: Harknail saves vs. the ongoing damage.[rand=02210598415695130834765338944271207474947410868480841729274531826377]

Don't forget to resolve Zynthis's actions. The resolution was the next post after Zynthis's action. I was short of time at the time, so it was very short.

Harknail does what now? Tactically, he was better off not moving. Now he's going to get flanked, and he messed up the group shot the wizard would have had. Harknail would have been better off, but the group wouldn't have been. The goblins would have closed in, reducing our maneuvering room. And they know better than to line up in groups of 3 without one of us included in the group, so they wouldn't have stayed put for Bharash's shot.
Harknail is putting himself into a bad position, but by doing so he'll be attracting the wererat's attention to himself. After the rats go, Bharash can ask him to step back and he'll do so.

The wererat that Harknail misses shifts in response (to I8 as immediate response). Taking advantage of flanking, the wererat to the north (red 3) attacked Harknail, just barely missing the construct. The wererat to the south (red 2) of Harknail also attacked, and also missed by a slightly larger margin, before shifting out of harms way (back to J7). The last wererat on the north flank (red 1) shifts next to Doran (to H7), but decides to take the easy shot with flanking against Harknail rather than attack the wary Doran (he doesn't want to give Doran a free attack). The third try was a charm as the wererats finally hit Harknail (for 10 points), leaving Harknail bloodied. On the southern flank, the wererats shift around to get flanking positions or cover (or both). The one on Zynthis (Red 7) tries to bite the cleric but is stopped by his armor. It then shifts to flank Thursagan (to H12). The one that Laira had cursed (red 6)shifts between her and Bharash as it shivers from the cold (took 9 cold damage), then bites her (5 damage, 2 ongoing - save ends, she has filth fever - looses healing surge). The other two (red 5 and red 4) both attack Thursagan rather than give him a free attack even as they shiver from the cold (3 points cold damage). Oddly, the one with flanking (red 5) missed while the one without flanking hit (for 8 damage), leaving the dwarf bloodied. It then shifts to cover (K12). Realizing that the wererat goblins could shift past him on either side, Harknail makes one last valiant strike against his Divinely challenged foe (Red 2) before shifting away (to I8) and activating his Warforged Resolve (6 temp hit points). [dice=20] | +6+3=18 | [dice=8] | +3=5 |
He hit the goblin wererat a glancing blow.[rand=4134836292359978874927657656371696949245827272537097535214852542]

Zynthis shifts 1 south to H13 to flank Red 7. Zyn then strikes Red 7 with his Righteous Brand. Afterwards, Zyn offers the bloodied Dwarf words of healing. Zynthis's Actions: Move: Shift to H13
Righteous Brand Red 7 [dice=20]+8+2=27 vs AC Damage:[dice=10]+5=10 Effect if hit: Thursagan gets +5 melee attack on Red 7 I just noticed Righteous Brand won't work for the strikers.
Minor: Healing Word Bloodied Thursagan [dice=6]+3+7(surge)=16 healing

As Gabe takes stock of the situation calls out, “Concentrate your attacks, slay them before they get a chance to heal.”As Harknail is forced backwards he hisses to the construct, “Stay strong Harknail, nothing to fear from the likes of these!”“Thursagen, a hand with this one if you please.” He adds with a mocking grin as he menaces the face of one wererat opening it up for a strike from behind. OOC: Laira still had a free basic attack to take on Red 6 as it shifted since Gabe’s Viper Strike. I’ve added an attack for her here because I don’t think has already rolled. Please check the modifiers.Free: [Viper’s Strike] Laira makes a Melee Basic Attack at Red 6 If hit: 1d10 Minor: Gabe's Inspiring Word on Harknail [dice=6] | Harknail can spend a healing surge and gains his surge value plus 1d6 health back. |
Standard: Commander’s Strike on Red 6 An ally of your choice (Thursagen) makes a melee basic attack against the target Hit: Ally's basic attack damage + your Intelligence modifier (+4). |
Free: [Commander's Strike] Thursagen makes a Melee Basic Attack at Red 6 [dice=20] | +7+2(flanking)= | 12 vs AC |
If hit: 1d10+6+4 OOC: Gah! With attack rolls like that I don't know if I want to roll for other people's basic attacks anymore.. *sigh*Gabe's Combat Status Gabe's Health: HP 12/22 - Surges 5/7 - Action Points 2 Encounter Powers: Infernal Wrath 1/1, Inspiring Word 2/2, Warlord's Favor 1/1, Second Wind 1/1 Daily Powers: Lead the Attack 1/1

First Laira Elereth gets an attack of opportunity at wererat 6: [dice=20]+2=13 for [dice=10] damage. I'm a bit surprised wererat 6 was this suicidal to move knowing he would provoke an attack of opportunity and then be flanked by 4 enemies at once. When do I save verses disease or does the DM just handle it?Responding to Gabe, "No just kill this one!" indicating red 6 with her halberd and as a standard action uses commander's strike to give Thursagan an attack against it with an extra +3 damage. [dice=20]+7+2=13 for [dice=10]+6+3=15 damage . (I decided to roll for Thursagan to keep it moving). Laira then shifts to I11 and places another curse on red 7 (unless red 6 actually dies from that attack in which case Laira shifts to K11 and curses red 4).

Harknail feels much better and replies, "I thank thee Gabe". Unfortunately both of the attacks that Gabe inspired struck their targets.

First Laira Elereth gets an attack of opportunity at wererat 6: Gabe had already ruled for the free attack his power gave Laira. The goblin shifted, and thus did not provoke a normal attack of opportunity. I'm a bit surprised wererat 6 was this suicidal to move knowing he would provoke an attack of opportunity and then be flanked by 4 enemies at once. He's trying to get the soft squishy targets in the back row <evil grin>When do I save verses disease or does the DM just handle it? Ongoing damage inflicts its damage at the beginning of the characters turn. At the end of the turn, you roll a saving throw for all ongoing conditions (a separate role for each one unless noted otherwise). This is simply a (usually unmodified) d20 roll. 9 or less the condition continues. 10 or higher and the condition ends.Responding to Gabe, "No just kill this one!" indicating red 6 with her halberd and as a standard action uses commander's strike to give Thursagan an attack against it with an extra +3 damage. (I decided to roll for Thursagan to keep it moving). Laira then shifts to I11 and places another curse on red 7 (unless red 6 actually dies from that attack in which case Laira shifts to K11 and curses red 4).
In response to the second prompted attack from Thursagan the goblin wererat decides it has had enough of that and shifts away (to H11).

Doran shifts to I9, and tries his Torturous Strike on Red 6: Sorry, our posts crossed. Doran's target shifted away before he could reach it. Please repost based on the revised situation. You can keep the dice rolls, although getting sneak attack damage will be difficult.

Actually, I probably shouldn't have deleted that post: Red 6 would have been marked by the Commanders Strike that Thurgasan took on him, so, if the goblin shifts in response to the miss, Thurg gets to attack again.

Doran doesn't have a whole lot of good options at the moment, so I want to see what the remaining PCs are going to do. I might have him draw three aoos (that will also hurt the enemy) to flank red 2.

Sorry for the late response, I have been traveling all day. I don't know how many attacks Thursagan gets, but for sure he gets one on red 4 before he shifts into cover, so here it goes: Attack: [dice=20] That is a crit!
