I'm Arcaus and I'll be DMing the new short named "Chaos In Koban"
Heres the background info for this Short, it has D&D 3.5 rules, core races for simplicity and all charchters start at level 1 with the gear i supply...
Introduction: For many years, the Deepshore mining society was been excavating the great black mountain of “Koban”. The miners settled in the huge underground lake that allows access to the best ores and stone. After a few years, profits were up and the society could hire better workers to dig deeper, and new advancements in mining, thanks to the new invention of a magical compound by the Gnomes mean that even more of the mountains treasures are unearthed. In the Deepshore mining camp you can find mostly Dwarves, the natural miners. But also they have employed all races, including Ogres and Orcs. But one day, the digging stopped. Without warning, there was a huge explosion, shaking the very earth with its raw power. The mountain moaned, and thousands upon thousands of tunnels were destroyed, killing the miners indefinitely. The source or cause of the explosion is unknown, but investigators from the society claim that there was some tampering, by the foreman for that area; Gort Redbeard. The tunnel system was far too large to be completely destroyed, and so there is still a vast and some would argue unending sprawl of underground complexes left. The Deepshore Mountain Society has hired a group of mercenaries to investigate the remaining tunnels, and find the source of the damage.

Significant NPC’s
Inspector Goole: A thin and gaunt human, from the DMS. He is to be the contact for your group’s actions and investigations, his smarmy ways would easily aggravate any man, but his knowledge and contacts are hard to pass up.
Fumble: The mining camps head engineer, and also the inventor of the special compound that has speeded the mining along, this Gnome is typical, smart and brilliant in his field. But could there be a problem with his master work?
Deputy Kavish: A tall and broody Orc, with a taste for fighting and cracking whips. He is second in command in the Deepshore camp. He hates people, and he hates you.
Maaa: A huge and formidable Ogre, he guards the entrance to the Kabon mine, he’s not too bright; in fact he regularly goes into lapses were he shouts his name so he can remember. He likes people, despite his appearance, and he love ale even more.
Sally: The bar-maid at “The Drunken Pickaxe” a beautiful girl, in a rather unfitting place. Her cheery disposition and sprightly nature rival that of any halfing. Sally loves to make friends with whoever can make her laugh, especially flowers.
Bonk: Bonk is a Goblin, he runs the store, ask anything else and he’ll “Smash your face in”, one to be wary of
Gort Redbeard: not much is known of the foreman at Deepshore mining camp, save his violent nature and tendency to assault his own workers. He lives secluded in his house, everyone in the camp hates him.
Ricky The Pin: A strange man, who apparently sells supplies to the camp from the outside, his quirky sayings portray a fumbling weirdo; but his swift tongue and sharp eyes tell otherwise.
The camp is filled with others, these are but a few...I looking for 3 players minimum and 5 max...
Your charas can be any class from the core races with 32 points and starting at one with no gear, but you can tell me all about them, and their prefferances and skills ect
I also have some story relevant chars for you to play if you like ;D
