Sometimes I don't get the chance to read every post in detail so I just go by the last map. That's understandable. On my part, I stop updating the maps once all opponents are dead, so the map shows the last positions before the battle ended.

Zynthis follows Harknail across the bridge wanting to stay within his light radius. "Everyone ok? Anyone need healing? Sart, how are you feeling?"

Laira Elereth suggests, "We're starting to get pretty close to the kobold main camp. So we'll need to douse all lights once we get around the corner. Watch your step, there is another bridge over there across the stream." Once the group is done resting, etc. Laira will carefully head back around the corner with her torch covered. She will be probing with her halberd as a short pole. Laira plans on either being able to see the kobolds from their own fire or getting close enough that she can see them when she suddenly exposes her own torch. Now that the party seems rested, Lairaunwen Elereth will start heading towards the kobold camp deeper in the cave.

Zack will follow along, trying to keep his Light spell such that it shows the way for most of the party without alerting the kobolds ahead.

Sanem will be a bit apart from the rest of the party, sneaking along as best he can. (I'll roll stealth prior to next encounter.)

Working on the next section (it might take a couple of days). Meanwhile, does anyone have a suggested marching order for a 20' (4 square) wide tunnel?

As usual, Raylynn at front or dead center of the group are my preferences.
If no one has a suggested order I can randomly/intelligently make one up again.

Sorry, but there will be a few more days to play before I can put up the new map. I was going to work on it tonight, but ended up working instead. Ah, the joys of being on 24-hour call. At least I get my cell phone bill paid for. Then tomorrow I'll be playing a face-to-face game with my sister's family. So it will be Thursday before I get a chance to work on this again. I also need to prepare for the face-to-face D&D game on Friday...
Sometimes I get the feeling that I'm overcommitted

Sanem | Sart Raylynn | Laira Elereth Zachary | Zynthis Orsik Thursagan | Harknail My suggestion is that either Harknail or Thursagan should be in front (if not both). If stealth fails, all the group is going to be in trouble without support from the defenders

Also stealth is going to be very difficult when you can't see (but they can). Or even worse, you bring a light that they can't miss.42

The kobolds have lights up ahead. Using low light vision, we should be able to approach fairly easily. Mostly we'd be relying on the fact that we went to a great deal of trouble to get past their guard post without the other kobolds knowing about it, and so any kobolds up ahead shouldn't be looking for us sneaking in. And if one of them spots us, we just charge in and attack anyways (since Laira knows dragon).
If either Harknail or Thursagan are in front, then there is no real chance of using stealth, and I was planning on them being within 20 to 30 feet of the front so they could advance if needed (and our front line would probably fall back anyways).
If the kobold lights are so far away that Laira Elereth, using low light vision, can't see a thing when she sheaths her everburning torch, but somehow are still close enough for our own light source to alert the kobolds, then there is no chance of a stealthy approach and we simply advance (1 move action per round) with heavies in front and torches lit until we're detected.

Kobolds have darkvision. It is entirely possible that they aren't using any lights at all.

Sorry, more delays. With a face-to-face game tonight, it will be this weekend before I get the next turn out.

Getting close, have all the notes ready, just need to write the turn itself. Maybe tomorrow if there isn't too much going on.
Meanwhile, I noticed that I have Zynthis at 27/33 HP and with all surges. Does Zynthis spend a surge to get back to full HP?
