(that was a player error rather than a character error lol. ill instead play it ff as though he couldn't really tell the difference between elves and eladrin.) Mellir looks Raylynn's face over again and says, "Eladrin... aren't they the ones who taught the elves their manners? Sorry I have heard rumors of Eladrin and elves, but never had the chance to speak with either before. Not many would tolerate one of my kind."
The burly orc will accept another round on Raylynn and toast to her good health. His eyes take in Zack, noting the half distracted attitude and book in his hands, "Well met Wizard." But says little more.
Turning back to Raylynn he says, "Howahkan send you to find me then lets be off before he finds trouble."
He is about to stand up when the half-elf joins the group. Mellir takes a good deep look in her eyes and for the first time you see what might be a hint of a smile cross his face. Not one of lust but rather admiration for this ones spirit. "Another friend of yours Raylynn?" He asks completely ignoring what the newcomer said.

Raylynn grins, "Everyone's my friend." She gets to her feet and pats Laira on the pack, "Let's go, I think we've got him." I assumed it was a player error but after typing out a polite reply in OOC I decided it would be more interesting to play it as a character error - enrich the plot a bit if you will!

Zack bobs his head distractedly at the Orc while frowning at his notebook. Then he frowns at Raylynn. Then the book.

The big construct joined the others at the table, though he continued to stand (the table being full with four sitting). "Howahkan hath already gotten in trouble. He be lamed from a fight with wererats."

Mellir sighs, "He is alive though? That is good. I told him to avoid trouble without me there to be his shield. You should have him tell you about this time he picked a fight with a bugbear, not that it was his fault, how was he supposed to know the things mother actually looked like that? Anyway we got his butt outa the fire but it was real hairy there for a little while."
Mellir shakes his head and stands up to examine the construct, "Truelly Raylynn your work is impressive. It seems to have its own intelligence and everything. What have you named it?"

Raylynn laughed, "I didn't make him, he's a rare specimen of ages past! Calls himself Harknail. Honestly, he's the reason I started following these folks around. But I have the talent to fix him up when he breaks off an arm or what have you. This little guy is my creation." She pointed to the little beady eyed, spring and clawed thing that was clinging to her hair, it lifted a spring arm and waved to Mellir.

Scott is still observing the group, silently.

Zack closes his note book, apparently having satisfied himself that he's figured something out, and looks around the table. "So, where are we going?"

The construct shrugged, a very human looking gesture, before answering, "I know not where we be going."
OOC: Not sure if Mellir still wants to talk to Howahkan. It might be best to talk here long enough to pull Scott into the conversation first.

Mellir looks around the table as he finishes his mug. "Anything else we need to do here? I would like to go see Howahkan, but if he'll be in town for awhile it can wait."

Harknail replies, "We came here for you, good sir. Our fighter, the dwarf Thursagan, hath been injured while we slayed the green dragon menacing the Elven town of Myaith. Perhaps thou wishest to join us in making this valley safe?"
He continues, "Howahkan be not leaving town soon, his lame leg healeth not. But there be no dangers to thwart, so there be no reason not to show thou hence."

[we can actually glossover the meeting with Howahkan, beings we dont actually have any history. We could say we stopped said hi, and he asked me to aid his friends since he no longer can.]

What remained of the group, plus the orc Mellir left the inn's common room and made their way to where Howahkan was staying (along with his new roommates).
Knocking on the door, they waited patiently till the cleric on crutches opened the door. "Mellir!" exclaimed Howahkan, "I didn't want you to see me like this."
Harknail replied, "Thou neglectedest to inform us of thine wishes."
Howahkan answered, "I guess I have only myself to blame then. Please, come inside."
While Mellir entered to catch up on old times with his long time friend, the others declined. They knew how small Howahkan's place was, and there wasn't really room for that many additional guests. So instead they made their way back to Moonhaven Inn.

When the four heroes (Harknail, Laira, Raylynn, and Zachary) return to Moonhaven inn, they find that some more new faces have arrived, including what at first glance appears to be another orc. A second glance showed that this fellow was only half orc.
Everyone is welcome to describe their character and what they are currently doing (if anything). By the way, the scholar (limegreen) is used for out of character comments.

Arriving in Moonhaven, Abraxus asks around for Bharash and finds he is a well known minor celebrity, for helping the village, who currently spends his time with Curuvar the Brazen reading books recoverd from Draigdurroch tower .
With the day still reasonably early Abraxus easily finds the home of Curuvar the Brazen, where Bharash is staying, and both brothers are glad to meet again after several years. They share stories of there adventures since last they met but Abraxus is dismayed to find that his brothers love of books seems to have thwarted any adventurous spirit he had and dragged him in to the boring monotony of just reading and researching. Abraxus points out that he always said if Bharash read as much as he did it would eventually addle his brain. It seemed he had.
Sensing Abraxus' disappointment in his current researching role and seeing his adveturuous arder stronger then ever Bharash points out that several of the people that had helped Bharash secure the villages mirror and also discovered his valuable manuscripts were currently in town. If he fancied seeing if there was anything he could help them with they had rooms at the Moonhaven Inn and would, if successful, probably be back soon.
Faring his brother well Abraxus easily finds the Inn. Entering and asking about the group finds they were just there, but had left in the company of an Orc. His eagerness to meet them dampened, the Innkeeper does offer him (As he is the brother of the heroic Bharash) a meal, drink and even a room while he waits for them.
Accepting the strange combination of Bean Soup, Sardines and Mead Abraxus settles down in a corner where he can see the main door and starts his meal.

I edited the text above slightly to match the recent actions of the group. Bharash had just returned with the rest from the latest quest earlier that day, so he knows they are still in town somewhere. Changed sections are in italics.

Back in one corner of the room, what appears to be a wandering gypsy in bright robes(or setting equivalent) has set up an odd mismash of crystals and the like, and is offering to tell fortunes for a small fee.
"Surely, there must be at least a few adventures in this town I can scam.." Xi thinks to her self, looking at the pathetic handful of silver and copper she has collected. It wasn't much, maybe enough to cover tonight's stay at the inn. "Still, it's better than jail, that's for sure. Too bad I had to leave most of my stuff behind when I skipped town"
Upon seeing the new entrants, however, perked her up. "Ah, some adventures at last. Though I don't quite like the look of that metal man... Is that some fancy armor? Why would he wear it into an inn...
