If you want to create a new character I wouldn't mind. The game has been steering in a direction where it might help to be a more social character,
I'll check out the class if you send me what you have on it, but if you wouldn't mind delving into something from the core books that would be appreciated. That's mainly in an effort to keep the other players informed about what's going on with one another's character builds and how everything is supposed to work.
But for now, send the PDF my way and I'll have a look at it to approve or disapprove if that's what you're attatched to at the moment. Granted, it sounds like it has the potential to be another anti social character based on the class description, but that's just my opinion, I'm sure you'll role play it to a point that you're content with.

Thinking it over, plan B would probobly be better. Changeling rouge with racial subsitution levels from Races of Eberron. I lose Trapfinding and dungeon skills for more social skills.

OK, let's see what you've got. PM a character over and maybe some ideas about how you might want to be introduced into the story whenever you get the chance.
Same character creation rules apply level 5 32 point buy high average hp Use Character Points rules for wealth no huge need to get all tricked out and all that other stuff.

OK, I'm ready to open the game up to 1 (one) more player if there is anyone out there who is still interested.
I'd like to keep it to CORE races only and avoid any cleric/paladin (religious types) for now. That is not to say that one cannot be a healer or a warrior with a cause.
right now, we are currently Badasterysk-rogue/fighter (rogue city guardsman) Deekin-Psion Roguewolf-Rogue with extremely short attention span Rojito-Bardic Sage TheUdjat-Sorcerer (ignoble nobleman)
It would certainly help to take a look at the game in order to decide which niche you'd like to fill, but if you have any ideas in terms of the type of character you'd like to play already, throw them out there and we can probably come up with something that works.
And of course, if Jolith or MaestroXC are still out there and interested in picking up where they left off, just let me know and you'll be welcome back into the game.
So again, if anyone wants to join the game, please let me know. I'm not looking to fill up empty slots, so only post interest if it is genuine as I am only looking for one new player currently.
I'd like to give first dibs to Anoba, but if his interest has shifted or if someone else already has a good character concept which fits into the game, than it's pretty much up in the air and I'll have to go with the first one to give me something solid in terms of a character sheet.
Any questions, please feel free to ask.

I'd still like to play. I have a few character ideas. Let me know which one fits best (or will be the most interesting/fun to add).
1) Bard variant (gain animal companion as druid, lose "inspire" songs) - He is a street performer. A snake charmer from the far east (actually, he just pretends he's from the far east). His snake is his animal companion. He specializes in bluff/disguise. $$$ is his main motivation.
2) Lawful Evil Monk or Dragon Shaman (I originally envisioned this char as a Paladin of Tyranny before you stated no pallys) - He seeks to start a mafia like organization by slowly gaining influence in society and government (eg. putting allies in places of power. How about for the next mission, we attempt to get Badasterysk's PC promoted to captain of the guard?). Power is his main motivation.
3) Hexblade - dad was a pirate, mom was a fortune teller. Wants to do piratey stuff like her father did even though he's an a-hole and she never knew him. Don't worry, she won't try to steal a ship and turn this adventure into a pirate game. But she will have a fondness for the dock district. Becoming a notorious criminal is her goal.

They all seem alright. The first and last seem as though they might be more fun/interesting to play, but they all have their merit.
Most of the game is largely character driven, so it is my advice that you choose the character type which you are going to have the most interest in playing and having interact with the other characters as well as the surroundings.
Chances are, if you are going to take your character too seriously and expect the story to eventually begin to revolve around it, you're not going to have any fun, so just pick what you think is going to work best for you as all three sound pretty on par for what we'd be looking for.
If any of the other players have some advice in terms of a character concept, maybe they'd like to share.
In any event, think it over and you can start working on a character. There's no huge rush, so take some time if you'll need it.

Something that's not a pain in the ass to work into the group. It seems like all we've done the past several months is bring in new characters, several of whom have promptly disappeared. It annoys me greatly. Hard to build any kind of momentum when the cast keeps changing. Barrett is always in favor of more chicks in the group. The hotter the better.

Yeah, players leaving, especially without fair warning annoys me as well, but there's really not a thing we can do about it except move on.
The loss of Maestro and Jolith's characters was a bit of a setback in terms of progression of certain plots which I know you guys want to persue, but I try to find ways to bring it all back around so that no one person's info is more important to the story's progression than another piece of info that someone else can come across.
I also try to pack in lots of different NPCs so even if a character goes missing, there might be someone around who could just as easily be called upon to tie up whatever loose ends they may have left behind.
Though if ever there were a game that could support the constant changing of cast, this might be it as in an atmosphere like this, things are bound to happen which can explain away the absence without the other characters trying to figure out what happened to their friends. People could have been jailed, killed in a random fight, laying low for a while or skipping town to avoid trouble, things like that which generally tend to happen.
Albeit, it is a hassle for the other players to keep having to deal with new characters, so yeah, the easier it is for the character to integrate him/herself into the group and work with them, the better for all involved. There's other things to worry about than trying to convince the new players to join up with the existing group at this point in time.

Depending on yours and the groups say, I might be interested in rejoining the game now that I have much more time available. I wouldn't mind picking Kain back up that way the characters don't need reintroduction etc etc. If it isn't allowed, no big deal, I'm glad to see new people into the game. If it is allowed, I noticed that people are level 5 now and I wonder if you wouldn't mind me remaking Kain with the same stats of course and the same Necro job. This way I'll be able to better adapt him to the the game as Kain never actually got to do anything so I don't really feel like it would contradict anything the players have seen. I just want to reaquaint myself with the character, maybe change what I spent my CP on, and adjust the personality of the character. I always feel most connected to the character and its feel when I make it.

I wouldn't mind that, especially since you already have a character and you are another player who I think would do well to help out in the game. You can level up with the same original guidelines and I'll answer any questions in that regard. Not too much time has passed in terms of "In game" so your absence can be easily explained away and overlooked. So yeah, I'm alright with it, though if any of the other players aren't, they can feel free to voice concerns.
And anoba will be the one new player added, so I think that we should be good to close the call for players at this point unless something unforseen should happen.

Due to the loss of players and games as of late, I am opening up IGTBE for acceptance of one or two interested players. So if you're wanting to join us, just PM me and we'll get to talking
