Pissed at the fact that she got mistaken for food, Stria yells out in draconicYou idiots! I tried to be nice, but now I'm going to show you a real massacre! May the stars guide you to Bahamut. Warlocks curse on nearest one that isn't already cursed. Due to my rod I get +1 to will reflex and fortitude saves until the end of my next turn. Glow of Ulban on Drake #2 + 7=13 vs Will + 6(Radiant Damage)=27 If it misses she uses infernal wrath for an automatic +5(Fire Damage)=7 I'm going to assume that she shifts back a square so that she doesn't get bit again as an opportunity attack from the drake. She didn't take the prime shot bonus for being closest (it would still have missed). The attack hit thanks to Popol's Astral Seal Striazionis takes a step back from those large teeth and calls upon the Glow of Ulban. Popol's Astral Seal guided her strike so that Ulban's blue white light strikes the drake in the head and interrupts its instinct for self-preservation while leaving it seared. The connection with the Astral Seal surges healing energy back to her (heal 5 HP). Edit: Page 6 Map: Map (will be updated to reflect current situation) Edit 2: Remembered Astral Seal, that means she hit and was healed

Do you want to shift out of range of an opportunity attack first? Also the Inferno Wrath is a reaction to being damaged. You can't wait to see if your attack hits before invoking it. Due to timing of a play by post game, you can invoke it on your turn, but it would be the first (free) action of the turn. I thought talking was my minor, if not I would like to shift. I have the feat wrathful magic that allows me to use infernal wrath if I miss a target with an arcane attack power. Hope that clarifies a few things.

Hope that clarifies a few things. Ah, I didn't notice the feat. That explains things. Talking is normally a free action, so shifting away is good.

Seeing the drake take off back to the roof, "Foolish drakes getting scared off from a little fire..." i say with a smile on my face. i know this could hurt, but hey drakes got to learn sometimes. I use Eldritch Blast against Drake #1 After the Eldritch blast tears away from my hands i take a step to I8, then move to H7 hopefuly getting the drake #2 to take a swing at me, then move to H6 so he also gets a free swipe at me. When each of them take the swipe at me they take the 5 fire damage. Drake #1 will also take an additional 5 Force damage when he does his AoO from my Riposte. As this round ends my fire effect vanishes. #1 one screeches as the Eldritch blast bloodies it. #2 snaps at the tempting morsel dancing around it ( 1d20+9=23, 1d10+4=13 hit). The chomp left the Revenant bloodied, but the flame it it's mouth left the drake near death. The drake on the roof (#1) already had a mouthful of green flame and wasn't interested in another. Edit: #2 hasn't been burnt by the tiefling, and has lost it's instinct for self preservation.

Oops, I forgot Astral Seal. That made the difference between a hit and a miss for your Glow of Ulban. I'll edit the previous post to reflect that hitting. So I need to make the following changes to previous posts: Didn't use Infernal Wrath, I'll remove that from the Drakes turn. You did hit and do lots of damage. #2 wasn't shy of flames and would take a bite of Tol as he danced around. Expect to see the edits soon...

Wow I guess the whole non-violent approach has failed It didn't work this time, but it was a reasonable thing to try. Don't give up on the nonviolent approach, it will work sometimes, just not every time
At the end of the adventure you may get a clue as to why it didn't work this time. It wasn't just that the game master was planning for a fight. I'm fine with the players using diplomacy to avoid combat encounters. In this case I checked carefully to see how amenable these drakes would be to a peaceful resolution, and found that it wouldn't work here.
If you still want unconscious drakes, be sure to mention that when you submit your turns. Unless specified otherwise I'm assuming that everyone is going for the kill.

Joe i had a question does having my construct attack use up one of my actions or one of its own? i would hope it gets its own actions. This is what Blastishy is doing free action Llewelyn hears a voice in his head " take out the two nearest to you but please keep them alive, I and my construct will aid the wizard." I would like my construct to shift from I 12 to I 13. I will Move to L11. as a Minor i will cast Healing Infusion: Resistive Formula one him +1 AC for the encounter. Then i will attack with Magic weapon on the drake. If i hit i will apply my wisdom bonus to my construct for damage and give it a +1 to hit. Then i will have it strike if it can. I will wight for you to tell me if it gets his own attack/actions or not to roll. also Just so it is said like you asked i am aiming to knock it out not kill it.

Sorry, not use to needing to check so often.
Llewelyn takes studies and takes aim at the closest drake.
Hunter Quarry on 3. Twin Strike V AC [dice=20]+9 = 17 [dice=20]+9 = 21 For [dice=10]+2 = 3 [dice=10]+2 = 11 Quarry Damage [dice=8]
Llewelyn feels comfortable with where he is and does not move away.[rand=35904181091011245557859783954477284731269518937086273987398968016]

I made it clear from turn one that I used no killing attacks - anything I took down should be a live

Romra frowns in sadness at the thought of what these being once were. Now that they have fallen from such a height, putting them out of their misery is probably the best course of action. [glow=limegreen,2,300]Earth Shield Strike the one in front of me again. And Mark it once more.[/glow] To Hit: [dice=20]+9 Damage: [dice=8]+4 if it hits i get +1 to my ac till start of my next turn.
HP: 30/42 Ac: 20 Fort: 17 Ref: 17 Will: 19
My attacks bonus is not figured into that ac.
Edit: Adding dice rolls[rand=4842662308365106654392999946139752126015098765492448130453168414533]

Joe i had a question does having my construct attack use up one of my actions or one of its own? i would hope it gets its own actions. I just checked. Summoned creatures/constructs do use your actions, they don't have any of their own. This particular construct can be moved with a minor action, but takes a standard action to attack. It can also make opportunity attacks.
The rest of your turn had the construct moving (minor), your character moving (move), healing (minor), and an attack (standard). The construct attacking was contingent of it having its own action. Still that is one minor action to many, so I'll wait for your feedback as to which one you drop.

Llewelyn takes studies and takes aim at the closest drake. Llewelyn feels comfortable with where he is and does not move away. Two arrows fly out of the tree and bring down the drake. It's still alive, but will be out for a few minutes.

Romra frowns in sadness at the thought of what these being once were. Now that they have fallen from such a height, putting them out of their misery is probably the best course of action. Romra lands a solid blow against the drake (#5), fully engaging it's attention.

ok thne drop the move i had 4 it i will still be moving. So then to understand this we both can't attack at the same time, i feel that is a bit lame, but it is the rules. Anyway rolls up coming. [dice=20]+8 to hit AC. [dice=8]+4 damage.[rand=891330207232385996984257013536992728083198890095657385364174843]

Blastishy moved up and struck a solid blow with it's spear on the drake near his construct (#3).

#1 flies around to the far side of the tree from the archer, then lands to try taking a cautious nibble off of Dart ( Bite vs. Ac, damage (1d20+9=24, 1d10+4=5) hit). #2 just lays on the ground, unconscious. After #3 hurt it's teeth on one crystalline construct, it wasn't interested in tasting another. Instead it shifted closer and cautiously tasted to good smelling morsel hiding in the tree (Barbatos) ( Bite vs. Ac, damage (1d20+9=21, 1d10+4=6) hit unless shield is used). #4 let out a frustrated screech and pounced on the new location of the squealing pig it could hear but not find. #5 continued trying to chomp at Romra ( Bite vs. Ac, damage (1d20+9+2=16, 1d10+4=13) miss). But even with another drake providing flanking, it was unable to connect with the canny Warden. Map (will be updated to reflect current situation) Tag all
