(Medium - as you are a medium sized creature using a weapon appropriate for your size).
Ka'lion charges towards the bird, hurling the weapon in his hand - the axe he had used to batter the door - towards the distant target.

His aim is true but at the last moment a flare of magic deflects the axe in flight leaving the bird unharmed.

At this point Nilfree will then double move inside the inn taking cover as he goes. He will try to get to the upper lvs if he is able to.

Nillfree nimbly circles around Vadania towards the open door near the bar, the most likely place for a staircase. His keen eyes note a bag that seems out of place on the bar but the gnome continues past aware that their adversary above might be seeking an alternate exit.

Leaping up the stairs he pauses to peer over onto the upper floor aware that the group's approach had been noted, he sees nothing at first but then too late reacts to the danger above - a truly colossal spider lurking in the shadows over the stairwell.

Nillfree hurries back feeling the tug of the spider's web around him as the creature reacts to his presence.

Sorry about that, just did a day trip to Tahoe and forgot to log on.

Aelos continues to watch the last the bird, and prepares to strike at it.

Not sure if it is too high up or not, if I can reach it, run up and smack it. If not, try to position myself near several allies still fighting the bird and wait for it to come down, then smack it.

Ka'lion does not stop to fight the bird he continues running as fast as he can x 4, he's killing the horse in the barn as soon as he can reach it.

The bird continues to evade it's attackers, but as Aelos raises his shield to fend off another strike the creature seems to fade away into nothingness.

Inside the inn the situation is more grim as Vadania can see Nillfree struggling to free himself from some kind of web.

Ka'lion increases his speed to x5, or 200' - he is running as fast as he can. Barbarians normal speed is 40 - so unless he is facing animal or a monk he can out run it. He is is not carrying most of his heavy gear right now either.

That requires a DC23 engineering or pilot(starcraft) test to redirect power to the engines from life support.

Failing that, and lacking the Run feat, Ka'lion is limited to the usual 120' run for a barbarium in medium armour.
It won't take long to reach the stables at that speed (they are just beyond the inn) but stopping to throw an axe has cost Ka'lion a turn of fast movement

movement and distance (local): run for 1 minute: x4: for a creature with a 40 feet movement rate is 1,600 ft. For one round (tactical) it's 160 feet. With heavy armor he's moving at 30 feet x 3 - which is faster then anyone else in heavy armor can move or faster then any small race without armor.

now - if the Bernadine armor is medium type - I don't own the weapons and armor books to be sure - he's moving even faster.

So his movement should be currently be 90 ft (tactical) and 900 ft (local) I just had my math wrong. Remember his carrying capacity in rage is 76 or less for light load for a 16 str - his armor is a light load for 6 rounds. if his armor and equipment currently weighs 43 lbs or less and it should - his armor is 30 lbs + 3 throwing axes 6 lbs + dagger 1 lb + a iron Falchion [2d4, crit 18-20/x2, 8 lb, two-handed -

He is only dealing with a light load and reduced moment do to heavy armor type. Right now he's has the heavy armor Breast plate while in rage - it's light load for him. And just got lighter when he throw his ax because he did not stop to pick it up. Right now the only extra weight he is carrying is his pitted iron Falchion and three more throwing axes, a dagger and the armor - he's carrying a light load - in 4 more rounds it returns to a medium load.

The armour Ka'lion is wearing is treated as medium, giving a base speed of 20 adjusted up to 30 as he's a barbarian.
The best speed he can manage is a x4 run - 120 feet per round.

Now that she was inside and out of the slipperiness, she got back to her feet while calling out a warning, "Get out of those webs and get back down here." Looking for the spider she knows is nearby, Vadania tries to put an arrow in it before it begins to feast on her ally.

Meanwhile, not having any birds left to catch, Ylva makes her way back to her masters side. Having 4 feet and claws is an advantage when crossing slick spots, but it still slows the wolf down.

Vadania drops her shield and takes careful aim as the spider descends. The arrow strikes true and the creature obligingly changes direction, crossing the ceiling before pouncing towards the elf.

Outside Ka'lion rushes past the inn towards the stables leaving his companions behind once more. Circling to the entrance he spies a single raven perched upon the building watching his passage.

From his position in the stairwell Nillfree can hear faint speech from above ... unintelligible ... magic ?

Nilfree works hard at trying to Escape rather quickly. He is a pro at getting out of sickie situations such as these. the only sticking point is that given he has not a lot of time for his life as well as his friends depended on it. Escape artist

He knows the ties are webbing so twisting out of it was not an option, for that would make it worse. he had to get his sword to cut it in away and not get it stuck in the process. He makes a few quick slashes he was able to force the web to lose its hold on him and he was now free. Move action i had a few questions: Where exactly is it compared to me and the druid and how high up is it? this matters for my move. and can i charge it as part of my move?
I would like to get flanking on the spider so as long as i don't have to move into the web to do so then that is what i will do.

The spider has dropped to the ground to grapple Vadania - you can walk right up to it and whack it over the head if you want, but it might bite you.

Aelos has no time to think about the slippery ice before him. The spider is attacking an ally, this needs to stop.
0 Reflex and -6 to Jump makes ice real fun. Welp... CHARGE!

Aelos falls, and will probably just slide to the edge of the ice before trying to stand up. Maybe smack it with his hammer in hopes of shattering it.
