In the aftermath of the attacks the guards take up posts and double the # on duty.
(i will post what the chimera is doing after the roll is in)
It is adjusting to its new home, a enclosure has been made for it. a sign in a few languages reads
" Don't feed the wild life," lots of meat has been placed for it. overall the treatment of the beast has been accommodating for it is well attended. it loves to play fetch with a nice leather ball, that is by now slobbered on and chewed up, with lots of rips and tares in it.
Turning to the group, " Thank you all for saving the capital if you could all please fallow me, that includes you Skar. I would like to give the people who saved the capital something form our vault. feather I would like to give you all an offer, please fallow me. my chamber was destroyed in the attack, but we can make do."
with that he turns and walks to one of the doors inside the fort, he extends his hand the guards snap to solute and open the door for him and he turns to see if others fallow.

Glass walks uncertainly with the group. No one had seen him during the fight except for her. Her, he noted, was an increasingly complicated subject. Was she going to accept before the fighting broke out? And once it had, she used magic publicly. Will I be strong enough to protect her if they come for her?
Glass let the thoughts slip into a restful place. Maybe it was enough that he'd came up with the idea to tame the beast? Or perhaps it was assumed that he took part in the fight. It did not matter. He could be part of the fight, in their minds, as long as no one actually saw him. Besides, something from the vault sounded promising and he wasn't going to meet his aspirations equipped as he was.
His mental faculties folded again and he thought of nothing per say and only stole, he imagined, occasional [Frequent] glances the girl. What is her name?
Right, he blushed the faint Grey Elf white blush and attempted to cycle thoughts, the plans will have to wait for a little while. Glass looks up and the commander looks back at the same time. Glass meets his eyes then looks to Cruge and whispers, "Do you think we can trust this man?" (OOC: If you have a high listen I wont make you roll for hearing, it's relatively trivial.)

Releasing the creature Callo steps away, returning to her normal size as she follows the guard captain, noting in a light tone as she passed the pixie "careful, cats like to play with their food too..."
She would hear the offer but was more interested in information, she had been away for some time.

Nokomis is definitely interested in something from the vault, depending what it is. Not that she's likely to refuse anything, even if it doesn't help survival. She's glad that no one has picked up on the chimera's reference to a blue dragon in their midst.

it was an offer to the group. you don't have to go if you do not wish to.

few moments pass and chairs from other places are brought in but not as nice looking.

We protect them and allow them in the city, as long as they don't cause trouble. if your think i don't know magic was cast your mistaken. You did it to protect the people and in this rare case it was necessary. The clouds for one, the large size for another, the crazy speed you all ran in at. I myself have mastered a few spells and know when they are cast but the kings orders i can't use them. the reason is the dragons don't know casters are among us for they think they are all dead and we need to keep it that way. You may be wondering where the king is, he is off trying to rally the 9 lost clans but with little luck and he refused to come home when i asked. That is the job i offer. He has the Ax that was in question, brave as he is he has yet to return and i would like him found. your may not wish to take this on but i ask you to keep this to yourselves. yet onto the reword.
I am allowed to give out 12 items a year to those in combat who prove the worth to the city and the realm. all of you have shown these actions thus you may each get one if you so wish. Or I have a coin for each of you, and you may toss it into the weal the choice is yours."

Glass smiled. The commander was not outside the fort. To know the speed was unnatural he had only the brief time of each of them rounding the corner. Twenty feet, maybe. This man practices more than he lets on. Still, he didn't know who cast the haste spell. He would likely presume it was the girl or the dragon ambassador.

he laughs, its nice to have some hummer these days, and yes that can be arranged. that is if you wish to work for the Aren government full time. He pulls out a bag and starts pulling items that seam a bit to large to all fit in it. and places them on a table a long with the bag itself. we have armors and weapons if that be more of your liking. I felt it best to keep them in the armory for short time use if need be, we did not have time to retrieve them in the fight. all of them are unused.
honestly up to a +3 wondrous item ( gloves of dex)
a +3 magical weapon with up to a +2 enchantment on it
same for the armor.

Callos eyes were drawn to a battered gauntlet, a few gems studded it's surface but many more were missing - piecing it back together could be quite the amusing distraction.
Not being drawn to commit she speaks up, "tell me about the weal"

the belt re-sizes itself to fit her perfectly ( it gives her a +3 to Str)

(Question - weapons/armour/wondrous items only, or anything up to the value of a +3 weapon, not exceeding a +3 bonus? - i.e. finding a ring of minor energy resistance lodged in a gauntlet)

if you would like a ring, rod or staff then you will need to get to the king. he will cover that i just been trying to keep up, but i like that a lot of people are posting keeps game moving  . |

Many have tried the magic is very well hidden. It is a weal of Isis.we use to have many crops and fields, she looked after her children. the dragons came the water dried up, people lost hope and faith. the weal dried up. It was said that the weal was a wishing weal of Isis. many have dropped coins in that weal some were said to be given a blessing form her, others received nothing. I don't have much in the way of religion yet those who save her lands and people should be given the chance that she may. but it is a guess at best and a wise tail that may be true but it is still a gamble. If you wish to take it, that is up to you. I have not tried it myself so you do so at your own risk. As to The dragons, many times they tried to take it, and each time we defend it. I would like it hidden but it is the only water source we have. It fills itself. that is why we "ration" and have the tax is to hide the true power. for people would over take the city if they know the power it has and then a civil war. and the city then would fall. It is to protect them, to low and people start asking questions to high people die I don't like the fact we have to do so but as of late we have not many options. if you come up with any please let me know, for the lives of the people are in my charge and i need to protect them.
