Callo nods, but takes the gauntlet. She was no friend to the gods and felt little desire to tempt fate.

An unusual size for a belt of might, they are usually even numbers, but can be made for any STR. Handy if I increase her STR next level.
Nokomis gives her thanks to the guard captain for the powerful belt. When she has some privacy, she'll move it under her outer robes, but that may be a while.
Nokomis nods her head as the guard captain explains the situation here. It was indeed a lawful community worth supporting.

He flips one of the coins into skar's hand. ( the bracers are of armor +3). he also has the amulet of natural armor if you would like that instead, just giving options.

"Before I give you my answer, do you mind if I go take a look at the well?" He turns to Callo, nervous but resolute. "You should come with me before you commit to those. I have a good eye when it comes to making guesses like this."

"If it is a creation of Isis the weal will not release it's secrets easily, though given a day to prepare ... perhaps."
Motioning towards the coin, "what is special about those specific coins?"

these are what remain of the old coin in the land, on it is her on the other side what she stands for. clerics of her before they died in-trussed them to our king to give to those who needed her help. they said she could hear the magic in the coins and the voice of the one who places it. These are all of the ones i have left. other simple coins have been tossed in that weal with many wishing but the magic has not worked. I am still trying to work on understanding it myself, with little luck. there may be a clue in her lost temple but i have no idea where that is. As to looking at it all it has given me is the kind of magic it has, not how it works, no book or chart i have use has given any insight. If you wish to look at it by all means but one you make your final call on your reward there are no refunds, so pick wisely."

"In that case I will delay my choice and choose until after I inspect the fountain. One other matter. Commander, order your men not to butcher the chimeras. They may still be useful." Glass Pauses and looks carefully around at the faces around him. He saw valor in all. Even the dragon diplomat had shown her colors when asking for a child's toy. I can trust them. The thought surprised him. It would be another gamble, but they had been paying off so well today.
Glass sighed and then took a breath. "I will make everything plain now. I too am a magi. Glass's eyes shift reflexively to the dragon ambassador's expression. It seems clear to me that the chimeras served the red dragons. Tell me the largest dragon threat to this city and I will pit the two against each other. I'll elaborate, I will plant the bodies and frame them. All you need to do is tell me where to put the bodies. Consider my offer and have an answer by morning. While you consider, have your men move the bodies to me and I will keep their scrying eyes away. As for your offer, I will think about it."
Glass grips his stomach with one hand. He hadn't expected how discomforting it would be to be revealed as a mage. He took another deep breath.

To save time, once Glass gets to the fountain (Spellcraft): [dice=20] +27

Nokomis watched the reaction to Glass's revelation carefully. It looked like she may be working with these people, and she had her own secrets that she would need to reveal soon. But not yet, she could keep secret her ties to dragons a bit longer, until they left the city. But perhaps she could feel them out first...
Watching carefully for reactions, Nokomis asked, "The chimera mentioned something about blue dragons before it was killed. Have blue dragons been causing you any problems here?"

sry i had to clarify what he was doing he found out different info then i posted hear, more on that later.
"As to the request of the bodies the one living will not be touched, and i think the ones who have been raising it should keep it if they wish. a framing is a well thought out idea and it could very much work. The sand dragons are the biggest threat in the lands right now. they are not easy to find and pop up out of the sands, so be quick in their lands. If i do let this idea go through i can't legally sanction it. for if the the reds found out they would say it was a rebellion and full out attack us. the sand dragons are strong but the reds have the upper hand. I am a desert magi and if you would like to learn i can teach you in time but right now we don't have much of that, yet my i be the first to welcome you to your new home. you will need to sneak out the bodies, i can have skar and a few others on shift, but i have to double to perimeter, other wise my orders will seam like something is up for we have just been attacked after all. If you can get them out the bodies are yours."

" the dragons are mainly the sand dragons, the blues don't come this far south. if it said something about a blue then it must have been trying to cause confusion to make us think blues were involved or going to attack next. we have no fight with the blues, for they have remained neutral, and we like it that way, yet if they are down hear there must be a very important reason. my hope is they have not joined the reds but how could it know a blue was hear?
Diplomat if your willing, i would like you to send word to the blues if you come across them that Abes would like to keep the peace and ask if any blues have flown south to speak with us."

The spellcraft role was for the fountain, just as soon as Glass gets there to look at it. Glass never actually looked at the items in detail yet. I just gave you the role early so you wouldn't have to wait on it later.
Glass Grins when he says sand dragons. "Get me pictures, maps, or a scroll to scry. Anything you can that will help. Getting the bodies out unnoticed will not be a problem, that is, if it is to be done. If it works your two deadliest enemies will fight each other and for a while you may see peace." Pride took hold. It was not often Glass got to boast about his skills. "Join me at the fountain commander and perhaps there is some I can teach you."
"Oh, one more recommendation. Magic may yet wake sentience in the living chimera; give it language. It might help in developing a partnership with it."

Callo commits the appearance of the coin to memory, with time to roam she could likely find more. The elves revelation did not surprise her but is odd reaction did, was he geased in some way?
As Glass laid out his plans Callo considered but dismissed them, missing chimeras appearing in the land of another dragon would likely change little but draw the agents of their master to this place - the dragons were arrogant but not stupid, nor bereft of diviners and seers. "Perhaps it would be better that they were never found, their presence would only ever lead their masters back here, if they even cared at all about the affairs of such creatures"
As conversation turned to the matter of the weal Callo remained silent, she lacked the expertise - for now at least, tomorrow she could return prepared.

"Dragons hoard magic and while they might not care about these creatures, to send four with instruction, I suspect they will check in if they don't get results. Having been a slave of theirs for a century, I am confident in my appraisal of the situation."

"Yes, they will check here, and should the remains of those creatures mysteriously find their way to the lands of a rival there would be little question as to who took them there."
Callo paused, she guessed that a confrontational attitude would only harden the elves hatred of the dragons and desire to bring harm them even with so transparent a ploy
"There will be better opportunities, haste will accomplish nothing."

"The remains wont be conspicuous, they would look as though they have been slain by dragons. Given your shape earlier, I know you have some understanding of what I speak. Tell me, why would they check here when the bodies have been marred by sand dragons and are in sand dragon territory. Dragons are smart but they are also wrathful. They have killed all magus of any substance in this land, a magical frame up will not be at the forefront of their minds. I cannot promise they wont come but commander, can you look at me and tell me you have a fighting chance right now. If we were not here, the city would have been lost today. Are you telling me they will be safer to hope they don't come back. Remember, they came here on a mission, if they don't return more will come unless the dragons become distracted."
Glass sighed. He got the feeling she was starting to not like him. He hated being confrontational too, but this was important; he had a chance to help these people and weaken his enemies.
"I-" Glass began weakly. "It's the best way."

watching the two argue the commander says nothing. it mattered little to him how it turned out, both it seamed would work. there was insight on both sides and neither was truly right or wrong and felt it best to let them talk it out.
in a bit of a loader voice just enough so it could carry over the side conversation.
" the pixy, cleric and Mr tall have yet to pick what they would like, i feel it best get that out of the way before we continue on with other things."

"Consider yourself in their place, you have sent your forces to the city of Aren and yet when you next hear of them they lay dead in a distant land."
Callo tried to explain her misgivings, though the elves words concerned her - the situation here had deteriorated while she was away, "If you had reason to believe the chimera were pursuing their goals elsewhere then your attention might turn from Abes, but this battle was public and the dragons have many eyes - they will know that their minions fell here ..."
pausing, "... save for one. Perhaps your plan might work if a show was made of the last chimera escaping, then it's masters would wonder why it fled to the lands of the sand dragons."

It may be worth while stopping people leving the city untill a plan of some sort has been put into motion. Though there spys may have ways to talk over long distances why run the risk of letting information of the failed mission get out. Now im no wizzard but if people can see magic being used i think you should be out there look for it as it my be another sighn of information being past to the dragons

If I could keep an eye on everyone in the city you would be right. Alas that is beyond me. However, you may be right about quarantining the city to keep this quiet until we act but there would need to be a reason for the quarantine, some danger lurking outside the city for instance.
Glass winkled his brow, trying to contort his thinking to match a dragon's. "I think the red dragons never felt this place to be of any significance until now. A sand castle left to be concurred by sand dragons. I am sure there are spies here but I think they serve different masters. Are diplomat has remained strangely quiet, knowing so well the minds of dragons. What do you think?"
