In the distance there is a few cliffs making a small canyon with the newly formed river flowing through it. yet that is still a few miles away. when there are far enough way from the fort so about 250 ft away.( spot checks).

(I assume we chose to walk in order to intercept the king, rather than teleporting?)

what way is better is up to u to figure out. walking is longer yet teleporting you could miss by miles or teleport next to where he is. how events unfold is up to you. things will happen depending on what u pick and carry out different ways depending on what u pick. this will lead to door closing and other open, friends made or lost. my game is driven by actions, and events will occur or change to reflect what you do. like saving the city: because you did it lead to these plots, had you all not things would be different and the game would go a different path cause of that call. so your all shaping the history. i found that to be you all influencing the world by actions and to have consequences for your actions the best way to dm. so as a dm i can't say what way to go with for that is up to the party not me. i know what i would do as a pc but im not going to influence, this is up to all of u .

Glass votes to teleport and get to the people in immediate danger faster.

Spot check: [dice=20]+20 = 23 Nokomis is not willing to teleport until the group leaves town. As she has said, she has a companion waiting outside of the town that will be joining the group. Plus I'd like to roleplay that meeting [rand=09449175465852022008706771070137620127277849242091185466195717453957]

to be clear Harknail you and your group is well outside the city, and around the place you left your companion, but they are nowhere to be "seen" . You know he likes to play hide and go seek.others still need to do some spot rolls. one each please. I would as well like to rp this a little bit,spot to see it is [dice=20]+15+4 for hiding in sand lol it is 23. to see him.Harknail then sees the bag she left in the sand and uncovers it to see a small horn sticking out of the sand, she knows very well who's horn it is . [dice=20]+13 spot Callo was too preoccupied watching the skies. She had prepared herself as best she could for the likely battle, weapons and armour now humming with magical power, but knew that any confrontation with the sand dragons would be little more than a prelude to the war that could errupt around control of the well.[rand=3284050642026128454962809053648449640029976056123767386332378091]

Nokomis didn't expect to see Gosendor in plain sight, he liked to burrow under the sand where he could remain unseen. And with others around, He'd be waiting for a signal from Nokomis that it was safe to come up.
Turning to the others, Nokomis says, "OK, this is where my companion was staying. You'll find his appearance surprising, but I assure you that he is not an enemy and will aid us on our quest."
Nokomis waits for acknowledgment before signaling Gosendor.

[dice=20] + 10 + 2 spot
Glass seems to be having a quiet conversation with a mouse on his shoulder. The conversation appears to be getting quite heated before Nokomis speaks. Glass began searching high and low for this companion. This was hindered however, by Glass's apparent inability to search diligently outside of 30 degrees from Callo in either direction.[rand=280533375684171902958512329496443353268799837678676912997723557055]

[dice=20]+2 to spot.
Skywatcher is, predictably, too busy watching the skies to notice much of anything.
"More surprising than a - well, I mean, do you really think he - she - it - they are all that strange?"[rand=632638261187821673147375439293680978066546376794621018400928005576]

the horn shakes it head and pops down even further down and burrows down under her feet, disappearing ( he is now getting "tactical" advantage behind her.) Tag was his second favorite game, and knew he played dragon tag with lightning, she knew it cant harm her, and his line very small, but still she may have to beat him, or have to dive in after him. roughhousing is his third favorite game. the question now is what one is he playing?
there is not a cloud in the sky. nor is there any threat form above . it seams to be quite out here.

Nokomis saw the horn and the ripple of sand going underneath her. Realizing that Gosendor was in one of his playful moods, she moved a bit to the side so as to keep the rest of the group out of the direct line between Gosendor and her, while trying to not make it obvious to Gosendor that she knew where he was or alarm the rest of the group.
Bending down, Nokomis patted the sand in a particular rhythm, sending an all clear signal to Gosendor. She then listened carefully to for expected sound of flying sound as Gosendor broke surface and prepared to dodge and perhaps grapple him in turn.

Gosendor understanding the all clear bursts out of the sand straight at her, in Draconic: HI Sis! and because Nokomis was preparing to side step him he misses. and falls into the sand next to her. " No fair,"
the rest of the party having little clue he was there see a young blue dragon shoot out of the sand, and fly directly at Nokomis. they see she moves out of the way and look on as he crashes into the sand next to her. you may now do a grapple:
for the people that do not know this is how grapple works: when you wish to start one you take an attack of op: in this cause the dragon will not be out of wishing not to. If you have the improved grapple you don't take attacks of op, for trying to do so. it is a melee touch attack. if you hit then you roll apposed grapple checks. BAB+str+ size mod. to brake tie it is who has highest grapple mod. if still tie a roll off.
so roll to hit his touch ac of 10. to save time roll your grapple as well and i will roll his. both are medium size so it +0 for size mod.[dice=20]+15.= 19.[rand=14348726137541234021030593197792774925149867776781314427714375779033]

Startled, Callo throws out her hand ready to unleash a blast of blinding energy, but hearing the dragons words she remembers what the Chimera had said the day before. Immediately she looks across to Glass to guage his reaction.

Glass had an expressionless face with vacant eyes fixed, seemingly, to a point far out past the dragon in the sand. "I See." The words came slowly. "You are brother and sister? Do not worry; you have nothing to fear from me. But the Azure sky dragons are unpredictable to say the least. What is your purpose here?"
Bluff to hide the immediate reaction. (A look of fear that passes over his eyes.)

Nokomis spoke quietly to Gosendor, "Now behave, we have company."
Nokomis then released the young blue dragon, stood and faced the rest of the group before saying, "Allow me to introduce Gosendor, my companion and charge."
For those who understand draconic (probably most of the group), the name meant Winged Brother.
Nokomis continued, "To answer your question, the dragon that charged me with caring for his egg said we had the same father. I have no idea how she knew who my father is for I do not, and neither did my mother. My mother was a nomad barbarian... I am something else."
"As for blue dragons being unpredictable, that is true of any dragons. But I have found blue dragons most likely to honor agreements that they have made. For example, my taking care of Gosendor till he's old enough to strike out on his own was part of an agreement to allow nomads right of passage though her lands. She is still allowing nomads to pass though unmolested as long as they follow the strictures that were part of that agreement."
"My intentions are simple, I'm seeking employment to gain magic to help my survival. The belt I have already received is sufficient payment for me to help you for a while. It seems likely that there will be additional rewards if we are successful. And I find the goal of preserving organized communities personably agreeable. I will admit to be uneasy about direct conflict with full grown dragons, that does not generally end well. But I think this group has a better chance than most."

"You can rely on some characteristics of dragons. The violence of sand, the wickedness of the reds, but the Azure sky dragons have always seemed, self serving, more than anything. I will take you at your word. I am left with little other choice to save my people. Please, allow me to take us all to Denda. It will take time off of our trip, and the people of Selob might not have much time."
