Callo casts freedom of movement, renders herself invisible and drops silently into the room, a silent shadow leaving no tracks as she finds a suitable spot on the wall to seat herself - no need for disguises here.
As the dwarf sets light to the map a voice floats into the room, seemingly from nowhere, "They have guards outside the wall, hidden beneath the sand. And your little scheme might get a lot of people killed if the dragons take exception to your threats against their children. But there are always alternatives"
Allowing the invisibility to lapse, "I can get you through the wall, conceal you for a few hours once outside. I can even arrange for quite the distraction - but not if you start another war here."[rand=04915286069993063419836103955080753618522405912320426580410873398186]

Seeing another blue half-dragon is enough to get Nokomis to forget to watch for surprise attacks. She had never before seen another like herself.
As for herself, her customary head to toe covering that protected her from sand storms also concealed her race. Though the concealment didn't apply to dragons, with their acute sense of smell.
"Hello George," she managed to get out. "What is your business with the ambassador?" Inside she felt like a young girl that had just discovered boys.

when they here the voice from no where a lot of guns are drawn. The large dwarf signals to the others to fan out and take cover and firing positions at the doors and windows. " How do I know we can trust you? you could be a sand dragon spy for all we know. How do i know this is not a trick ? How do we know that your not trying to stall us while your friends outside this building prepare to breach and attack us here and now?"

Callo remained seated, "The dragons here didn't strike me as a subtle bunch, but you would know them better than I"
"The new ambassador and her companions are a different matter - if I can find you so can they" waving casually at the dwafs firearm "then again so could a blind man if this is your idea of stealth"
Callo makes a mental note of the dwarfs positions and exists, she had been mindful not to leave her back exposed when choosing a position - she could escape via dimension door and bury the dwaves simply enough but knew that her magic and artefacts would only protect her from a limited amount of gunfire.
As she spoke she focussed a little of her innate power through her veins, strengthening her skin and muscle - she could likely talk her way through this but a little caution was always a good thing.
(minor shapeshift as a swift action, +12 temporary hitpoints)

your not miss directing them with anything your saying so it is a diplomacy roll in this case. If you wish to lie to them in any way, by giving miss information for example then that is a bluff roll.

back in the room:George that is a nice name. my sister here is one of the best bodyguard i have ever seen. She has always been my older half sister looking out for me. So i know the ambassador is in good hands with her, but you welcome to spar my sister for practice. yet my money is on her for i know just how much of a bad ass she is. so i'd be careful cause i know she would not hold back on you. smiling back at his sister. He has never seen his sister act like this, she was normally shy yes but this was well a new expression she was showing. he had been around her long enough to know her looks and emotions. this one was very new. but he new something she didn't.
He leans in close to George and covers his mouth with a wing and he whispers to George "I think my sister is very shy for i don't think she has meet any like herself in her travels. Let alone any cute guys. I think she has always wanted to but never told me. Yet you don't smell like she does. I don't want to tell her cause i know how much these means to her, yet i think you should tell them especially her. my reason is i don't want to have it brake her heart if she finds out by someone other then you. She would feel you would have betrayed her if you keep it from her. take it form some who knows her, she will never forgive me or you if we lie about it. I think you will get along great once you get her to open up, and your both bodyguards so you have lots in common and can talk about things and people you save."

Callo knew she had little to show as evidence one way or another, and in truth had little personal investment in the dwarves. Best to make a show of strength lest the dwarves have any ideas.
Diplomacy - that she is not an agent of the dragons

Just to be clear, is George appear to be a Blue dragon or a Blue half Dragon. Nokomis's reactions are based on George being the first other half-dragon she's seen, if that's not the case then her reactions are much different!

so i found this on his character sheet: "Typically he appears to be a Blue Dragon" so he does just look like a blue dragon not a half dragon sorry for the mix up. I thought he was a half blue dragon myself at first.

"I can send her your message, but I cannot predict her response." Callo pulls a roll of parchment from her pack and pens a brief note to Brienne. Turning to her left a desert bird appears out of thing air, accepts the note, and then vanishes once more - though the sound of flapping wings can be heard as it takes flight.
"For now call off your attack. If things do not go well then I can create a concealed breach in the wall and conceal those who wish to leave from sight - preferably during a storm and I shall endeavour to divine such an opportunity"
The summoned bird becomes visible once more as it reaches the window to the gust wing, holding the message in it's beak and surrendering it to one of the party when they approach - "The dwarves trapped here request an audience. Ware the intentions of the blue dragon."
The bird waits for an answer, listening intently to any conversation.

You don't give the orders here I do and don't you for get that. second of all we are not going to hide IN A WALL! such things are not possible for the ones who could have been hunted down and killed there are none who still can. there is no such person able to do what you say, and even if there was they have no reason to help us and would be killed for using such a talent. lastly if they can't get it done while talking with the sand dragons tonight then we do things are way NO exceptions. if they have guards outside then we kill them too. I am done negotiating with you, you have this one chance to prove to use your trying to help if you fail then that is on you not us. we will show the dragons no mercy if they refuse."

Talkative bunch, but if the dwarf was too reckless to listen to reason it was best to know now before he got them both killed "Do not mistake this for a negotiation dwarf, I offer you my aid because your goals may coincide with my own.""As for your certification, i'm sure a demonstration can be arranged but I can create a breach of this kind only once each day and should the dragons be alerted the advantage will be wasted."(in practical terms it's just illusionary wall and passwall, mass camouflage, and perhaps a little help from control winds and control sand - a little distraction and a sensibly chosen exit point to avoid the buried sand dragons and patrols and Callo should be able to slip a fairly large group away unseen in the night. The easy trail spell will cover any tracks and tremoursense can be used to locate lurking dragons - quite a drain on Callos unused spellslots though, a risk she is wary of taking.) |
