"I am in the employ of the King. He has asked me to step in and aid in the protection of the ambassador. I thought I would introduce myself now." George says.

"Why you came back to such a forsaken land is beyond me. you were better off where ever it was you came from. Our lords are the Brass dragons who once ruled this city and these lands. They had no other option but to go into hiding from the wrath of the red lords. They wish to rebel but don't have the strength to do as of yet. they put part of their army in charge of keeping the people safe and free in the city. we are what is left of the city's standing army.
he still cant get a good reading on this new comer yet they showed promise in being able to help. a bit naive about the world and how it works, and a bit rash and foolhardy for coming back at all but that takes guts, and they survived for this long and not by luck. They had power that could help yet they did not wish to take a side. with all that power the people could be saved yet they don't wish to kill and the question is why
"We don't wish to shed blood for killings sake nor will any harm come to the innocents we swore to protect. Yet in order to free them we must kill the oppressors and they not by our choice my get hurt in the cross fire, but it is not our intention. I did not come to this lightly but they don't give much options other then fighting back. your a fool if you think the war has not already started. Sides are being picked as we speak. we have seen red dragons entire this very city and leave unharmed. The sand dragons may be with them and if so then the ambassador could be walking into a trap. Do as you wish but we may be the only option of getting the ambassador to safety for we know our lords would like to talk with them as well."

Blue dragon: "Hi George, My sister and her friends are the best bodyguard the ambassador could have, but it is nice of you want to protect our friend. If you work for the King then by chance do you know his daughter?"
Just then a bird flies through the open window lands with a note attached and holds it out for someone to grab.

Callo waits for one inside to read and respond to the message, mindful to keep it from the blue dragon until she had better insight on his allegiances and motivations.
Continuing to talk to the dwarves, "I've been watching them and they seem eager to make alliances, at least outwardly", perhaps these dwarves had information of use to her other mission, "I observed agents of Kerratanar not far from here, some dispute with the city of Aren, though the reds did not involve themselves in person. Have you heard anything of events in the southern cities?"
[dice=20]+20 sense motive (is the dwarf attempting deception regarding the activities of the dragons?)[rand=335562229031671665778720036278302649476450780552547417436746886]

The vigilant Nokomis notices the bird and goes to retrieve the message, she glances at it to see who it is addressed to.
Spot Roll to see if the very perceptive Nokomis notices something wrong with Georges excellent blue dragon disguise: [dice=20]+20=33 After all, she doesn't expect to see another blue dragon here...[rand=62363192951306725300652394071221994278028141707206378703890368342]

The note is just a small scrap of paper, addressed to no-one, bearing the words ""The dwarves trapped here request an audience. Ware the intentions of the blue dragon."The bird drops the message infront of Nokomis and waits - it appears similar to the desert bird that Callo summoned shortly before vanishing from sight outside of the city. Spot Roll to see if the very perceptive Nokomis notices something wrong with Georges excellent blue dragon disguise (one of those odd cases where the disguise is perfect but the acting is wrong ...)

Nokomis casts a suspicious eye at George, realizing that while he looks like a blue dragon, he really isn't acting like one. She keeps an eye on George (assuming he's the blue dragon mentioned in the note) and shows the note to the diplomat.
As she does so, Nokomis asks George, "Have you been in the service of the Sand Dragons long?"

Noticing the bird, but not thinking much of it, George speaks to the sibling first. "I am sure you are the most proficient bodyguards, but my liege would like to show his desire to protect his friends as well." Turning towards the new question, "For some time, he has come to rely on me when his other guards are tasked elsewhere." I dont actually know how long George has been here, out of character of course. Once i know that i will say itas well lol.

Is the dwarf attempting deception regarding the activities of the dragons?
No he is not being untruthful to you or hiding anything for you, but you get the hint that he may just be getting reports and has not seen if for himself but he truly thinks the info he got is right.
It has been a little less then 6 months that he has worked for them. so like 5 and a half months.

I had a talk with the person who plays the diplomat. from what i understood the player has told me that they are no longer continuing in this game. yet we are still going continue with game. I understand that right now the character needs to be played for it is a very important plot element at this time. I can play the character until there is a time when i can phase her out. This was not an ideal call on my part i know but as dm at times i have to make the hard calls and this is one of them. I never wish to play peoples characters for i never feel it right, yet at this time i am doing what i think is in the best interest of having fun and continuing game i hope you all can understand that. thank you.

"News does not travel fast among the dunes. why the reds would send anything that far south? what be the blazing hell reason for doing so? they are cruel so it may have been just to flex mussel to prevent any who try to rebel them. A message of " don't even think to mess with us" yet have nothing to even think that they can. they have little to no water, a standing army even smaller then ours, a king that was disgraced in the first revolution and took the fort by force. he does not have the will of the people on his side. and the gods forsaken them long ago. they have no money.( but they do have a magic weal ) We were able to send a few of us out to ask their king for aid and have received non. there was a rummer that some of the brass underground there saw two of our clansmen entering the city and that they were given a note to come to our aid. yet we have been here for days without word from them ether. so all I know is that we are here alone and back to square one."

Nokomis does notice the same thing as Callo that things are just odd but because you don't know the kind of item he has you can't pin point much of anything about him other then he seams off. A k ( nature ) could tell you how they normally act but because you have been around blues you can take ten: you know that he is not acting like one at all but trying to and failing. yet he has the exact look as one and it is very convincing of what your seeing. you just know better, but cant pin point the exact reason as to the way of what your seeing or the how.

the diplomat reads the note. doing a curtsy to George:
" I am lady bre. thank you for introducing yourself and i look foreword in working with you during the time of my stay. yet i have an urgent matter to attend to and i will not need a guard for this. I promise I will be in time for the meeting. please thank your king for all that he has done for us and we are grateful he has been such a gracious host."
Young blue then waiting and being polite turns to George:
"Well if your highness is doing official things and does not need us to guard her then we have some free time. I think ill go and stretch my wings for a bit. I could use a flight maybe if it is it ok ill go and ask kings daughter to go flying with me. I hope she likes flying as much as i do, for I would like her company. (with a smile) maybe we could race. would that be ok George? cause i don't want to get her into trouble nor you but i think it would be a lot of fun if i can. I know she would have a lot of fun too."

Callo shrugs, not commenting on the reds intentions, "Can you describe the two that entered, perhaps I can find them"

he describes two of the odd people you have already meet, one of them being Glass of sand, the other being his cleric friend.

one of them being Glass of sand, the other being his cleric friend. Glass was here a few days ago? He had been with Callo on the ship for weeks - and the group only teleported in today, is this a timeline error or should Callo assume that someone inpersonating Glass is running around?

the two people got into Abes from the ship yes, you found people of the underground who told them about the mission. it was known to the underground in certain spots being very few knew they were on their way to Abes and would arrive on X day. this took months of prep work, fake papers if they were stopped, coed words and signals. The Good dragons form another nation not in Sira were sending glass and the cleric on a ship for it would look odd to send them so close the ones in Sira, if fallowed bad things so it was safer to send them to abes first. that is why they knew people in abes and were to meet up with them. the plan was to escort them to come and find the good dragons in hiding. They wanted them to come to this city and first meet the army and have the army here give them directions to dragons. the sand dragons did kinda get in the way of the plains when the city got attacked and taken over. so it all works out time line wise.

Callo nods, "they are familiar to me, and may already be planning an attack but the forces here are far stronger than they had anticipated. It is possible they have moved on to seek other allies"

"The old treaties are laid to dust and ruin. there is no one able or willing to help for if there was we would not be in this bloody Hell of a mess. Still there is more then one way to get info in and out there just needs to be one willing to take on the task. "They don't have to come to us all we need to do is get them what they need." He gets out a letter with a dragonseal on it. "Hand this to the cleric or his friend if you ever find them once more. This can't fall into the wrong hands for if it does it will be the end of any hope we have in stopping the reds. guard this with your life and destroy it if you must.
meanwhile is George ok with the blues request? Bre after she has excused herself will fly off to meet the dwarfs asap.

George thinks on the matter, "I am afraid today would not be a good day for that. But I shall see if the princess would find another time to join you."
