Is anyone interested in continuing this game? Is anyone there to notice new posts?

May have mentioned this before, but if you need more players... i have alot of downtime and would be glad to join any game that needs a little revivification.

Some old players have expressed interest in playing again, so I'll be reviving Moonhaven. It won't be immediately though, one of my face to face players is moving out of the area and will have a very busy 3 weeks getting ready to move.
So we have plenty of time to make new characters or update old characters. The game will be resuming in Moonhaven and the characters will be level 4 at that point.
At some point I'll be posting a wrap up of the previous story arc to bring it to a conclusion and keep the continuity (such as it is) going.

Still here with my all-vanilla wizard Level 4 would be implement focus (assuming that's + to hit..., or was it implement expertise?) and some kind of item I guess.

Changes will be fine I'm glad Blastishy is back. Having an artificer seems to go well with having an ancient warforged in the group

I was wondering if i could be more of a leader in this game. I know that just cause of my class does not automatically make me a leader. Yet i do wish to take up the leadership roll in this group. That is if people are ok with this, I will take all input about what to do in situations and i feel he can make the hard call when push comes to shove.

I suppose that depends on how good your directions are. If they make sense, people may follow them (Harknail in particular is a follower type). If they are crazy things, you're likely to be ignored.
On a different note, I just talked to Walter (another friend who has moved away). He's likely to be joining as well, though with a different character.

I understand if i say, hey look a ledge i command you all to jump off of it and have not even looked or has a reason, then obviously that is such a bad action to take and should not be done. He is not the iron clad general his "father" was. He is way more into tactics and will asses the situation then act, if there is no time to think he will say and do what he thinks is best for the party. he will always do his best to ask when he can ( like not in combat or in combat and ask can you do x,y,z or do you have something that can get ride of X threat, or what can you do how does it help? or even if you say I got Z threat he would be ok do it but be careful) he wants even to be ok with what we should do as a group, but will take lead in talking to kings and shush if he is the best at it or set back if hes not. He will be willing to take responsibility for group actions if need be. my directions will always be what would be in the best interest of the group not the individual but will allow people to rp they way they want to and let them do what they want. A rouge wants to steal that ok, steal form the vileness house thats cool, robbing a present for no reason is not cool. If you got arrested in ether way he would get you out with a warning, that he will not do it again so be more careful. that does not prevent you for doing it a second time how ever nor preventing rping . say one of us not and being me wants revenge. I know if we try that we would be put in jail. I would tell said character that I will help them do so but you must pick your timing. I then with the full party devise a way everyone is comfortable with the revenge, so if people are not ok with killing or braking laws may be a stipulation. yet legally finding blackmail or info that gets said revenge by using it and getting them to step down out of office could be a way to do so. No one gets killed laws are fallowed everyone is happy. I will ask who has what talents and designate and coordinate to maximize us pulling it off. In combat if i see what is the most threat and i know character X should not go cause they have low pain( low hp) I would find a way to use the others to deal with the threats they can deal with. yet i would cover our weaknesses bests ways i can think of. like leaving one of us surrounded, well Harknail has lots of AC so he can do that, so sending him in is ok. the wizard not so much but can do range and deal with many threats at the same time. swarm of minions i would say for the wizard to target them them first then have Harknail rush in. If you tell me I got this or that he will trust you will do that, if you miss for example he will not get upset but devise a different way and say ok don't keep going for it but go for a different thing. He will always take input and if you tell him your good at this or that he can use that so to you can do what you want with lee-way but your getting things done as well.

As I said, you can lead but it's up to each other player as to if their character follows. But I think you have the right idea, give targets and goals, not specific instructions on how to play their characters. So commands like "Take care of those minions", "Deal with those archers", or "Take some pressure off of Harknail", but not "Use scorching burst centered on G5". General instructions like that could help the group function as a coordinated team (assuming your tactics are sound), but isn't running peoples character for them. And of course, they can always do something else if they think they see a better option

Does anyone want to make an adventure request? This could be a general type of adventure, or perhaps something that connects to your character. Most of the previous adventures have been "Save the day" adventures where an urgent problem needs to be solved quickly. But unlike the Reality Storm game, that is not the premiss for this game.

well if we are lv 4, im trying to think of things of our power lv, and most of mine would be too hard at this lv.
My backstory is that i am from the gate as are all shardminds. The gate could be under attack and we have to find a way to stop the threat somehow or other shardminds have gone crazy and we need to find out why and stop it. yet i think that is for a higher lv thing. other realms is for much higher lv then we are.
My character honestly just wants to make things and understand how things work and improve them for others. He wants to explore new formulas and bring a new age to the places he goes to. He wants to make things that make a better world. So like making the wheal better for an example. He would want to make it so arcane energy help move the cart. his charge is only the cost of components and a little so he can eat and sleep and buy things such as ink and parchment. He willing make things for the Pcs but they have to give him all the necessary things so he can do so, and not pester him when it will be done.
Other ideas there could be a city full of research or a new from of transportation is being used and is under attack by an organisation of some kind( dm choice) and if we help prevent this in some way.

I'm good with anything - character is really just a 4th ed learner, built up through adventure rather than background.

So i think i would instead go with a Elf cleric. He is an investigator for his religion. he is part of a hidden order of knights made up of mainly paladin, clerics, avengers. There mission/quests are to hunt down powerful relics and keep them out of evil hands. or hunt down and stop by any means evil cults, Undead, demons and such. They have given him the authority to act on their behalf as he sees fit but if he steps out of line he has to answer for his actions( just like cops do) . Meaning he is not an executor, or a jury. He is a cop/religious investigator of good, so he will not just kill for he would like info if he thinks he can get a lead. Yet he has the know how to fight evil when he has to and if he thinks fight is the only option then he has the ability to take up in the fight . His back story: his dad was a general and was a paladin he wanted me to join the army. I did not like to fight so i became a army medic. he did teach me the way of the sword, and later i joined him in a large fight, he was killed in the line of duty. I then swore to stop evil no matter what. I was young and rash, but my fathers knights took me under there wing tough me to control my anger. I started hitting the books found ways to stop evil without force. I found history about relics and how to use them. then one day a knight said he kept an eye on me saw that i had the skills they were looking for. we wanted me to join a hidden task force. I had to fake my death so know one would know i was alive so i could join them do my job and i did so. any record of me will say I died. They have sent me to this lost temple for they think an investigation is necessary.

I will point out that Moonhaven is far from civilized lands (an ocean away), but the remains of past civilizations are scattered around here. Since there are few people who've resettled this continent, most of these ancient sites have not been disturbed. A common reason for anyone to come to moonhaven is to investigate these long lost sites.
Harknail is an example of what can be found in them, and how well these sites can be hidden. What used to be the dungeon under a wizards tower ended up as a rock in the bay...

I was going to go angle but elf works out better for him. So as to why he is so far from home: They though relics would be here and needed to be obtained before evil showed up so i need to find them first. so i am investigating and i stumble upon the party.

are people almost ready to start this game?

I need people to update their characters in the character section. Also, if you used Character Builder, it would save me time if you could send me that file instead of me re-entering it.
Mostly I'm waiting for Claros to arrive at his new location and announce that he's ready to play. But we could get started without him. Especially the in town introduce the characters scene.
So if people can start posting/updating their characters, we can get started soon.

Harknail and Barbatos have been updated (mostly). Still need to figure out what they found in their last adventure.
