Many others notice the Goblin enter as well (much as they notice anyone entering). The way they give the goblin a quick glance and then for the most part look away makes it's obvious that she's known in town and not considered a threat. The construct even waves at the goblin and receives a wave in return. But some stare at the goblin, unsure what threat she poses. And she is armed and dressed in leather armor, though her weapons remain stowed. One man does more than just stare. He stands and starts to draw his sword while shouting " Goblins! Kill them!" But he's stopped by a shove from the barmaid, which sends him back into his seat and them over backwards as the seat tips over from the strong shove. The fellow lands on the floor amid laughter, the mighty warrior brought down by a barmaid. The barmaid tells the fellow on the floor, " She's a customer here, same as you." The barmaid then turns to the goblin and asks, " What will you have deary?" The goblin hands the barmaid a piece of paper, which the barmaid looks at for a moment. She tells the goblin, " That will be 4 silver pieces," while holding up 4 fingers. The goblin produces the silver pieces from a small money bag on her belt, then the barmaid leaves for the kitchen. What Vetch sees and others miss, is that the aggressive fellow on the floor has rolled over to a better position and has quietly drawn a dagger. It looks like he's know about the throw the dagger at the goblins back. [tag Vetch]
Even Goblin Ninja's can be backstabbed...

Without thinking, Vetch reacts as soon as he sees the dagger produced. From his position against the wall, Vetch charges the dagger wielding man, and attempts to tackle him and take him to the floor. As he runs he yells "dagger! Watch out!"
ooc I am not aware of the distance, but can utilize +2 speed when charging. I am not sure if it is necessary, but I will put in an athletics roll for this action if needed. My athletics is Ten

The fellow is still on the floor, trying to be stealthy, but the declared action still works.
A half orc charging though the room got a lot of attention, but no one reacted quickly enough to stop Vetch from diving and slamming into the fellow before he could throw his dagger.
The fellow let out a large ooof and dropped the dagger as 210 pounds of half orc landed on him, squishing him to the floor. The fellow might have been inclined to object, but for the moment it was a struggle for him just to breathe.
At the warning, the Goblin and gone "Eep!" and dived behind Harknail. For his part Harknail stood protectively between her and anyone inclined to harm her.
Several others started rising to their feet and drawing weapons. Others simply got out of the way (rescuing their food and drink as well). Comments started flying, "Another Monster!" and "This place is full of Monsters!". That last was probably including Harknail as a monster.
The barmaid continued to try and defuse the situation, "They're not monsters, they're paying customers. And they're not bothering anyone who isn't trying to kill them."
That's about the time people started to realize that none of these armored and armed "monsters" had yet to draw a weapon."
Once things calmed down and the weapons were put away, the goblin came over to Vetch and started babbling something in Goblin at him.
I'm assuming that Vetch climbs off the fellow he has pinned once things calm down, while keeping an eye on him for further trouble.

Vetch gets up slowly, watching the patron he had tackled to make sure the matter didn't escalate further.
He then stared at the goblin prattling at him. He had no idea what she was saying. He held his hands up (while keeping an eye out around him) and said
"I have no idea what you are saying! Do you speak common?" Vetch said this loudly, as if speaking louder would somehow make this goblin understand.
He looked at the Human and the Construct at the table and said "do either of you know what this thing is saying?

Just to point out something Vetch you get a +9 to add to your perception rolls, or you can take a passive perception and get a result of 19 and not have to roll. so you would be getting 21 on what you saw being 12 from the roll and +9 from your skill. yours is the second highest, mine is +12. i see u ninjas as do u

Vetch growls to himself and stares at the goblin. He attempts to watch her hand gestures and comments to see if he can make out what it is she is saying based on her movements and facial features.
He thinks that perhaps the note she had might give him some idea and begins looking for the note handed to the barmaid. Thanks Blast. I was working on that in my head

Harknail says, "I speaketh not the Goblin. Sanim talketh with her."
Meanwhile, realizing that no one was understanding her, the goblin switched to what little common she knew and said with a heavy accent, "Sorry sorry sorry. Thank you. Thank you."

Vetch feels uncomfortable with the goblin's remarks. He looks at the creature and says "yer welcome, now get going before someone else tries to stick you again"
He gestures with his hands, making a motion to the goblin, indicating she should head towards the exit.
Vetch decides he will stay in the common room until the goblin has made it safely out. At which time, barring any more issues, he intends to go to bed. An early start tomorrow, without goblins, would be good.

In return, the goblin points towards the door where the barmaid left the room. Although she looks nervous, she isn't leaving.

Vetch frowns and looks again at the table with the human and the construct. He then turns and walks towards the door at which the goblin was pointing. He walks up to the door quietly and listens.

Zem is out cold even with the commotion down stairs he had not had good rest for a long time, bed was bit uncomfortable but more comfortable then the ground. Dm I don't know how much movement it would be to get down there to the party if a fight brakes out down there. He would take a middle room and have his friends rooms being one next to his the other 2 across from his, making a box . ( yes a kill box he thinks that far ahead yes.)

Vetch realizes the goblin is waiting for her food to be delivered (he recalls the note to the barmaid).
He decides to wait until the food is prepared and the Goblin has left the common room before retiring for the night. Just to make sure the creature leaves without further incident.

A minute or two later the barmaid comes out with a couple of wooden bowls with wooden plates on top of them in a stack. The barmaid hands them to the Goblin with a "Here you go deary".
The Goblin accepted the bowls and plates with a "Thank you". Then, giving Vetch another "Thank you", she left the inn.

Vetch nods at the Goblin, and then heads up to bed. He thinks to himself "I hope tomorrow goes more smoothly than tonight did. What am I thinking, almost getting in a fight over a damned goblin.

Barbatos finishes his food and looks for his room, if that is what passes for a bar fight in this town there would likely be little entertainment tonight.

After most of the "monsters" left the room, things quieted down. The newcomers to town gave Harknail wary glances, but not seemed inclined to attack the heavily armored construct.
After the last of his companions left, Harknail went and talked to the innkeeper. Striking a deal that was mutually agreeable to both, Harknail too went up the stairs, but instead of entering a room, he sat down at the end of the corridor and stood watch over all the rooms along that corridor. There would be no thieves striking in the night this night!
When the group descended the next morning, they would find that their breakfast of pottage (including pork) had already been paid for.

Being in a very good mood when he sees the others come down to eat " Morning troops, Who do i owe for breakfast cause i know i did not pay for but i want to thank the person who did so if you see or know them please tell them thank you ( he has no idea who did so). So anything eventful go on when i went to bed? Actually we can talk on the way to get what we need on our list of supplies, so we best get to that as soon as we finish, I want to get a good jump on the day."
