Barbatos has a healing potion and enough movement to get to Vetch if that is any help? That would revive Vetch, you can administer a healing potion to someone who's unconscious, as long as you're careful. You have to hold up their head and pour it in slowly so as to not drown them with it! I think that's a standard action, though I could be wrong.Map (updates as positions change)

That would revive Vetch, you can administer a healing potion to someone who's unconscious, as long as you're careful. If Harknail and the others want to push forward and engage the remaining gnolls that'll give room for Barbatos to get through and hit Vetch over the head with the bottle.

Barbatos moves forward to give Vetch a healing potion. This taps into his last reserves of healing to revive him.

Meanwhile Harknail issues a Divine Challenge at the remaining gnoll, then moves forward and attempts a Righteous Smite. The blow left the remaining gnoll bloodied (hit AC 25 for 11 damage), but provided a small burst of vigor to Harknail and his friends (7 temp HP).
Now that the gnoll is bloodied, anyone can make a intimidate roll as a standard action to convince her to surrender. This will take a standard action and needs to beat her Will + 10 (because she's hostile to you). If you want to take her prisoner, the character that reduces her to 0 HP has the option to knock her out instead of killing her.
Tag Zem for a saving throw and Oris for an action.

Oris moves to B 11 and uses elemental spirits

Oris's shot goes wild, bouncing off the roof before landing on Harknail's head. It does no damage to Harknail, just bounces off and falls to the ground at his feet.

Tag Vetch. He's prone, so it will take a move action for him to stand.

Vetch, waking up slowly from what he thought was his final moment, shakes his head and stands up, using his swords to help him to his feet. He looks around the room at the carnage and raises his bloodied arms and swords, pointing at the gnoll that remains standing. He glares at the gnoll, blood dripping from his wounds, his face and his weapons. He challenges the gnoll and focuses his entire being on finishing the enemy and this fight. He yells in common at the Gnoll Drop your weapon fool, or this is where you meet your end!"
Vetch will use his move to rise from prone. Since he can't engage the Gnoll this turn, he will try to intimidate it
Intimidate: KHWXeRNzp_1-20 +3=23 (finally a decent roll) 1-20

FYI I have a new job and my posts may be sporadic over the next two weeks. I am very very busy at the new job, so I may have to check in at night more than in the day. Thanks!

The remaining archer hesitated for a moment, then dropped her bow. What was the use. Sure, she might be able to drop him again before they killed her, but apparently the stories she'd heard about the mechanical one applied to all of them. They just didn't stay dropped.
In a dejected tone she says, "I surrender. Do what you will with me."
Technically Vetch missed the intimidation roll by one (and that's counting the penalty to all defenses), it's very hard to intimidate someone actively hostile to you. But considering the situation and the fact that you rolled a natural 20, I decided to let the intimidate succeed. Besides, this might be more fun than just watching Vetch go down yet again <EG>
Sorry for the delay, has been busy and I forgot that this game was waiting for me. If I don't respond to a post in a day or two, feel free to post a reminder. I do see all new posts (they send me email).
Combat is over. Tag all

No problem, I understand very very busy! But this is a game for the very busy by the very busy. Checking every day, or even every other day, is fine. I think most of the delays are due to my being too busy to respond, too tired to respond, or forgetting that a response is being waited for.

First we dont wish to kill you otherwise we would not have given the option, it was wise you to have surrendered.
your leader should have when they were out matched.
We only wish the travelers and common people are no longer attached by your clan.
If you can abide by no longer taking life of pesents. i think an understanding can be meet. If you cant agree to that then you give us liitle options left and know i wish to do right by my comrades here so not only i have say in what happens to you.
Harknail since you are the most guided by your code, is what i offer her fair? Her freedom and no hostily on our part as long as she no longer attacks people who mean her no harm?

Vetch looks angrily at is party-mates for a moment as the thought of his near death and his fury at the gnoll take control of his emotions. He calms himself and says to the group "how can we trust anything this creature says? If we let it go, it will kill again!" Vetch, feeling his adrenaline leave him, slumps in weariness and leans against the stone column, waiting to see how this matter will play out.

Stravanya's bright eyes fade back to deep brown and her little fangs receed leaving her entirely human looking again. But her intent towards the prisoner is just as wild as Vetch's. A chaotic evil race prisoner is rarely worth the risk of letting loose. Still, there are exceptions to every rule and Stravanya understands her Lawful Good comrade's values must be respected.
Stravanya eyes the Paladin and Cleric, hoping not to hear too strident a response to Vetch's wisdom, for Stravanya values the smooth coordination of the group above all else and would settle for respecting their wishes if she really must.
Stravanya will do a sense motive insight check to see if the gnoll is lying if she says she will never attack innocents again. I'd like to ask everyone to roll to assist.
"This is why I detest taking prisoners, especially when it seems doubtful she knows anything useful to us for our journey ahead from here. If we are to let her live, she must first prove her worth. Will you never attack innocents again, or would you just say anything to save your skin?"

Stravanya senses that the gnoll's will is broken. She is likely to recover eventually, and given the reputed nature of gnolls, is likely to plot against the group if still in their company. Nor is she likely to feel bound by any promises given. But for now she doesn't have the will to lie.
The gnoll answers, "Why would you let me go? You have captured me. I am your slave, your play thing, or your meal, as you desire."

Barbatos weighs in, "we cannot let her go, but Harknail is right - we have offered her quarter." Shrugging, "it would seem now our only reasonable option is to return with her and whatever others of her kind would surrender with her to Moonhaven for trial by those they had commited murder against"

Vetch, having calmed now, nods his head and states "I agree, this gnoll deserves to stand responsible for its crimes. Taking it to Moonhaven for justice is acceptable to me. We should secure this gnoll, and then secure the area and search it for survivors, evidence and for items."

Barbatos looks across to the newcomer, just recently released from the gnolls captivity wondering if they could give a better idea of what had been happening here.

Looking back over old turns it looks like you're only about a day out from Moonhaven. I thought I had set the gnolls further away, so it's a good thing I checked the turns where you got there.
The gnoll looked ready to answer any questions asked of her. She appears to be resigned to her fate, whatever that may be.
