So here are what happends

Dawn tries to counter spell and failed

bip runs into the battle almost gets hit but ducks both.

he bit the first one who is casting a spell on the elf.

( they have DR/15 adamantine. so bip only did 13 points to it total)

so that is 10+13+4lv spell = dc 27

consintration roll at +18 while casting defensive

These are ment to be tough and durable. Unlike most things you guys have faced so far Maybe new tactics might be prudent.
hacking them seams to be doing only slight amounts. Its more and more a battle of attrition.)

Nokomis can affect them with a crit (which is actually likely for her now that she's in position). She can also affect them with her lightning breath since DR doesn't protect from magic. She just needs everyone else out of the path of her lightning to try that.

Callo will throw over her shapechanging adamantine weapon during her action - it would take her 10 minutes to refocus to a combat build anyway.

Nokomis duel wields scimitars. Very good chance to get crits. Also her weaker sword will hurt the orbs more, because that sword also does cold damage.

ok - Callo will reform it into an adamantine scimitar. It's under the effects of a greater magic weapon spell at +4, and has no secondary enchantments.

Dawn will go ahead and use her action to cast haste on the party. Everyone gets +1 to attack and AC, and an extra attack when making a full attack. Meanwhile, Bip is still waiting on his readied action from the previous round.

( lime green is bit easyer to read on gray background. so read DR the magic weapons that are +4 or more are treated as adamantine given the chart on pg 562 of core book, nor can it resist energy damage.

So Koravel decides to push the attack. With each hit he begins to turn the tide of the battle. hacking and shashing but with much grace he batters into one and does not let up. cracks start to show in the orb.

(of his 6 attacks he only missed twice. he did not confirm the crits on two of his attacks but the other 1 he did. so 1/3 on crits but still did lots of damage.)

as cracks formed even larger the barrbarion does the killing blow, but as it shaters apart engergy explodes
