Two more cure light wounds a day would be great! But Vadania doesn't have much in the way of cash to buy anything.

1 1st level spell per day this is wrong I can always substature lower level spells - Sorry - I should of said one 1st level spell slot. Ka'lion could use it to cast extended spells for instance should he take the feat or encounter a metamagic storm. Ka'lions new caster level of 3 should also help. Apply these effects when your character next rests.

Today is looking very busy , so I won't get a chance to level up till Saturday at the earliest. I Have only the PHB, so I won't be able to look at the prestige classes unless they are in the SRD. they look like tempting options though:)
But most likely I'll stay with pure Druid.

The immediate benefits of each option are :
Pious templar (this one comes with weapon focus for free) 10 hitpoints, fighter BAB, a couple of low level paladin spells, and mettle (fort/will save for no partial damage - i.e. shrug off disintegrate without taking hitpoint damage if you pass your save) Second level grants a smite attack
Exorcist of the silver flame (this one come with the ancestral weapon feat for free - a two handed sword in this case) 8 hitpoints, fighter BAB, ability to stun/banish outsiders, +1 sacred damage with the ancestral weapon Second level grants +1 caster level and the ancestral weapon now counts as silver
Stormlord(silver flame variant) 8 hitpoints, rogue BAB, +1 caster level, fire and negative energy resistance 5, any arrow you fire is treated as being +1 and silver Second level grants +1 caster level, and any sword or arrow you use counts as silvered and inflicts +d6 fire damage (in addition to the +1 above)
Radiant servant(better healing) 6 hitpoints, rogue BAB, +1 caster level, light spells have twice the radius and are considered one level higher when suppressing darkness spells, gain the sun domain 3+cha mod greater turn undead attempts per day at a level equal to your class level. Second level grants +1 caster level, immunity to diseases, and a free empower spell effect for any spell you cast listed on the healing domain list.
Sacred exorcist 8 hitpoints, rogue BAB, +1 caster level, turn undead as a cleric of class level, force a possessing spirit out of a target with a special check Second level grants +1 caster level, detect evil at will, and bonuses to resit possession.
In all cases characters taking one of these PrCs count as having the 'true believer' feat should they later come across a relic of the silver flame.
(these PrCs are only available without requirements here and now - to enter them at a different date will require the normal pre-requisites)

Very tempting options. Also taking one of those would connect Vadania to the Order of the Flame even though Ka'lion wouldn't like that. On the flip side, leveling as a druid would improve Ylva's stats, which might be very handy for this fight!
I will have to think about this. The spell casting ones look very tempting!
And thanks very much for the detailed info!

You are level 6 now so you can pick a feat - if you want Ylva to continue to improve the 'natural bond' feat treats you as having 3 more druid levels (capped by your hitdice) for the purposes of your companion.

That could be a very handy feet for Ka'lion, that would improve Scar. Thanks for the info, it makes these even more tempting...

Looking at the Druid progression, I don't see any features I'm particularly interested in. While I'm tempted to take the exorcist and try to break possession of the former monks, I don't think they are actually possessed anyway. Instead Vadania will take the Storm Lord. This is the direction she's headed anyway with the storm cloak and lighting spells. Also She'll take the feat you described above, so Ylva will continue to improve.
The one concern I have is that her BAB won't go up this level.
A question: you list HP as 8 points. Does that mean D8 or flat 8 points for this one?

A question: you list HP as 8 points. Does that mean D8 or flat 8 points for this one? For this one level yes. Note that this variant stormlord class (from the silver flame) grants different bonuses to the normal stormlord class - notably the damage type is divine fire rather than lightning and the weapons affected are different. She can still take the regular stormlord PrC if she meets the requirements.

Full details for the stormlord variant at this level : D8 hitdice (full for this level) 2 skillpoints (Swim, Concentrate, Know (nature), Know (religion), Survival, Disguise, Gather Info, Intimidate) Rogue BAB (+0 at this level) +1 divine caster level +2 fort save, +2 will save Fire and negative energy resistance 5 Any arrow you fire is treated as being +1 (enhancement) and silver.

OK, Vadania has been leveled up. All that's left is to pick a magic item boon. By the way, Vadania does have a silver weapon, she just doesn't use it as a weapon. Instead she uses it to harvest Druid spell components.

Does the +1 arrow enhancement stack with the +1 to hit for a Masterwork bow? I think not, but wanted to confirm.

Just what I thought Also I found I had entered the within 30 feet bonus to hit and damage without qualification. I've fixed it so I now have to hit and damage in or beyond 30 feet. I will need to remember to ask how far away targets are if that isn't clear.

Stormlord(silver flame variant) 8 hitpoints, rogue BAB, +1 caster level at each level
1) fire and negative energy resistance 5, any arrow you fire is treated as being +1 and silver 2) any sword or arrow you use counts as silvered and inflicts +d6 fire damage (in addition to the +1 above) 3) true flight - any arrow you fire is unaffected by the miss chance or deflection created by strong winds - natural or magical 4) fire and negative energy resistance 10 5) any sword or arrow you use counts as a holy weapon, in addition to its previous benefits 6) wings of flame: once per day as a swift action the character may summon wings of silver flame (as per the fly spell, caster level = class level) 7) fire and negative energy resistance 15 8) any sword or arrow you use counts as a flaming burst and holy burst weapon, in addition to its previous benefits 9) fire and negative energy resistance 20 10) Upon reaching 10th level, you gain the ability to summon a quartet of Huge fire elementals with the celestial template once per day as a standard action. I am happy to bring in a second character, depending upon party needs once the quest is assigned. Right now, I'm thinking they will be a Tome of Battle class, should that be permitted - probably a tankier option to assist with crowd control and general martial combat.

I'm not particularly familiar with the tome of battle stuff but I do have the book, and fighter-types certainly aren't going to be restricted for game balance. Obviously any build that requires chains of checks and counter-checks (like dungeoncrasher bullrush/trip setups) may not work so well in a play by post setting, but the various stance and strike stuff looks fine.
Characters are still level 8 and won't reach level 9 until the conclusion of the episode.
----------------------------------
The current party set-up for reference: -Neera - power attack/tank barbarian -Vadania - archer/druid -Ylva - giant wolf -Brenner - non-combat cleric
----------------------------------
Items gathered from the quest will also be identified in the near future for allocation.

Fear not, I don't plan on anything cheesy like that. I just rather like the maneuver system. Unfortunately, my schedule actually just filled up until the new year with some unexpected holiday stuff - to keep things rolling, it might be wise to use a DMPC for now.
