I close my eyes hold out my hand and feel for the magic that matches the power of my god. (Even a mundane weapon I would think have been given aspects of my god that I could follow like a strong smell. ) friend hold thy bladed fury a moment as this creature is not worthy.

Laughter can be heard now
" Not worthy? Realy? Im the lord of fire. I hear a hint of jeliousy in that voice of yours perhaps. My brother wish vengence over his own life with no regard for others. He was never the smart one in the family .
Anyway Cleric we hold the same goal, i dont wish to raise my blade vs a fellow fallower but raise your hand vs me and ill strike u all where you stand.
Brother you once took it upon your self and stained your own sole, dont let that mistake wash over your friends and drag them into the muck of your termention. They deserve better then that.
What have you decided?"

" Then you will pay for your insolent comment. Your a fool but i can't change that. I can see that im out numbered No matter."
He then casts a spell.
( So here is the question now: if its an illution but can cast spells, then do the spells if they hit cause damage even if they are not real?)

" Then you will pay for your insolent comment. Your a fool but i can't change that. I can see that im out numbered No matter." He then casts a spell. ( So here is the question now: if its an illution but can cast spells, then do the spells if they hit cause damage even if they are not real?) It depends on what subschool of illusion it falls into. Illusion reference: www.d20pfsrd.com/magic#TOC-Illusion
If it is a Figment or Glamer, then no, it's completely imaginary, and it cannot deal damage, no exceptions, and the first time it tried and failed to do so would pretty much immediately reveal it as fake.
If it is a Pattern or Phantasm, then it can deal damage, but it will always do so by attacking the mind rather than the body--in other words, it will make you think you took damage even though you are physically unharmed, and because it's magic, that results in you actually taking damage. In other words, it has the [Mind-Affecting] tag (and is useless against mindless creatures), and almost always allows a will save to reduce or negate the damage.
If it is a Shadow, then it is actually partially real and can cause true physical damage; however, shadow spells are known for dealing reduced damage if the target sees through the illusion. The poster boy for this subschool is shadow evocation: you can make an illusory fireball, and if they fail the Will save to disbelieve it, they take the full damage from the fireball, with Reflex for half as normal. If they succeed on the Will save to disbelieve, though, they instead take 20% of the normal damage, or 10% if they make the Reflex save for half.
Only Phantasms have the ability to pull information from the target's mind. Since this illusion took the form of Koravel's brother using Koravel's memories, it is probably a Phantasm, but it could also have more than one subschool. If a Phantasm Figment, then the party has nothing to fear. If it's a Phantasm Shadow, it's probably less dangerous than the real thing, but it could still be deadly (and it's not necessarily less dangerous--true master illusionists of sufficiently high level have been known to create Shadows that are 100% as effective as the real thing); however, on the upside, that would also probably mean the illusion would be real enough to attack and, hopefully, destroy.
(All this knowledge falls under Spellcraft, so Callo and Dawn would both know it and could reasonably make these deductions, but the other characters probably wouldn't. Sadly, none of us have had time to concentrate on detect magic for three rounds to determine what subschool it actually is.)
TL;DR it depends on the spell.

I'm guessing a programmed image. This includes sight, sound, scent, and heat. But not touch. And there's no mention of being able to cause damage.
So I would say that a illusionary flame would feel warm but would not burn if your hand if you reached into it. So he could try to impress us with a wall of flame and we would fell the heat from it. But walking through it would not burn.
However the GM has final say, and this is an illusion created by a god. Still in D&D, illusions seem to be intended as distractions only.

The exact spell Programmed Image would produce the same illusion no matter who came across it. But this one turned into Koravel's brother. So I'd guess it's a custom variant specially researched by the caster to draw from the viewer's memories. Either that, or it's a hell of a coincidence. Or I suppose they could also have divination spells that predicted Koravel showing up, or scrying spells with some ability that lets them cast a new illusion remotely.

it does say it has hd, but nothing about what it does if it casts spells. this creatrue was a caster so its fitting that it would cast in this case.

also says no saving roll with it A simulacrum is somewhat real - it's actually there, though not truly what it appears to be. It's abilities are a bit vague - but as a creation of a god pretty much whatever you want. If it's been given spellcasting abilities the the magic it casts could be entirely real.

MrZJC6YTp_1-20+8=25 initiative for Dawn
Simulacrums can cast spells at "full" strength, but they only have half the levels of the original caster, so if the spell's damage is based on caster level, it will be reduced accordingly. Also, the spells they have available will be lower level, since they'll be e.g. a 6th level Sorcerer with 3rd level spells instead of a 12th level Sorcerer with 6th level spells.
Jaran's initiative modifier is +1, so he has a 9.1-20
