If it helps, 27 points in 5e is also what produces the standard elite array from 3.5 edition: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8.

It looks like we do actually have a healer, so I'm going with my original plan.

I was mostly thinking otherwise due to the panic of someone else, but I've almost finished creating my wizard. Its fine for him to the take a feat so that he can wear light armor, right?

Otherwise I just finished, although I'll be posting it later tonight.

Most certainly. My 5th Ed wizard in the previous game wore medium armor and used a war hammer (without using a feat).

Just a reminder that those moving characters from the previous 5th ed game here need to adjust their stats to a 27 point buy (from the very high 35 point buy).

also pointing out we don't have a healer yet Bishop has the healing word spell - which I think is the 5e equivalent of cure light wounds, and he is trained in medicine. He only starts with 5gp but it's enough to buy a healing kit if required.

5th edition has a healing surge mechanic that can be used between encounters, FYI, so you can usually get by without a healer. (During a short rest, you can roll hit dice to regain that much HP.)

At 1st level you only have a single hit die. And a short rest is still a hour of down time.

I've added a brief blurb about each town in Nentir vale to the background section. You'll be starting in Fallcrest. Just need to check that everyone used the 27 point buy for generating their character and we can start.

Ok, I've reviewed the stats of all the characters, and added notes where changes need to be made. While those are being fixed, we can get started establishing character relations ships. I'll start a thread in the Nentir Vale forum for this discussion.

So, if I do not have a comment on mine, that means I check out and I am good to go?
