I thought Hurick is just enjoying himself before going on a mission he might not come back from. He already has his recruits (the new members of the guard that he's been training). But he might be amenable to joining forces with some adventurers.

Elir still even with the interjection would not say much given he
has sub par chrisma and for most part hates social interaction.
yet that will very much change ; ( if i change to druid given we have lots of tanks and someone
wants to add to game and be a fighter/wiz.
given that would make 6 tanks that is too many tanks. This way everyone is happy. tho i wont be a healer druid so hes not saving slots for heals
so please dont ask him/me to because he/I simply wont. )

As the conversation with the military recruiter went on, Aegis continued to listen in, finishing another cup of ale as he sighed loudly,"Soldier. Do you think you might need the help of a wizard in whatever ruin you are going to?" he said loudly, far louder than the conversation between Hurick and whoever that robed figure was. Turning around in his seat, he looked the group over, "Might be magical stuff there. Could be useful to have me aboard."

So, what do you say? You and your men get some extra protection: a scout, some healing, and some magic. We get to help out one of your local merchants.
I look around, and while I have no idea who these people are, I hope they will realize the benefits of securing the job first, and sorting the details out later.

So Bishop here comes with us if you want me in. If he does not go then i wont go, that simple. O and we could always use the help of a caster. Is it possible you meet my brother in mage school? "

OOC: Looking over peoples characters again to make the character summary page, I noticed that while some included their background, others did not, Those that didn't did list the effects of having that background, but not the name of the background leaving me to try guessing what it is. Could everyone please check their characters, and if the background (Solder, Sailor, Scholar, Thug, etc.) isn't listed, please add it? It would be nice to tell easily which characters are sailors and thus have similar experiences.

Anybody who wants to come with us can catch a spear as well as the next man, and increases the odds of survival for everyone. |
