( rules question can a pc move and then still able to take a full defensive action? Cause depending of exactly how far they are from us we will get pelted if we just run out there into open.) Yep, dodging is an action, so you can do it in conjunction with a move. You can take an action before, after, or at any point during your movement for the round.

( rules question can a pc move and then still able to take a full defensive action? Cause depending of exactly how far they are from us we will get pelted if we just run out there into open.) Just double checked the rules. A Dodge action is a standard action that gives disadvantage to anyone attacking the character. Since it is a standard action it can be combined with the move action. This is what I have been assuming everyone is doing while moving in formation.
At this point you can use your start moving individually, realizing the first character into the room is likely to be pelted. Or you can continue to move In formation until you have a clear target or the kobolds react. That would have both of your heaviest fighters in front to share the initial attack between them. A third option is to try to make range attacks from where you are, that is also likely to draw a response from the kobolds.

( second option sounds like the best one to me, what does rest of the party think?)

Bishop notes that while he can transfer his light spell to another object to cast into the room, though if the kobolds should pick it up or cover it over he would need a moment to renew it upon his shield.

Reminder that Elir can also create a light in his hand, though when he throws it it's a fire attack.

Aegis, worried that things were going to escalate, prepared his Fire Bolt to fire at the first Kobold who attacks the party, as he moves with those who are moving forward.

The group continues to advance slowly, prepared for an attack at any moment. Most of the group is ready to dodge, especially Bishop and Beth in the front. Aegis on the other hand is prepared to counterattack.
As the group actually enters the room and cry comes out from the darkness, a single word draconic "Now!" With that sling attacks begin to pelt the group from behind cover and from the darkness.
#2 leans out from behind the corner and sends a sling bullet at Beth. He gets the angle wrong and hits the wall 10 feet in front of Beth. Attack:jOTgiD8pp_1-20p_1-20 +4 =5 (miss)
#3 peeks out from behind the pillar (from E8), then fades back into the darkness. A moment later a sling bullet emerges from the darkness aimed at Bishop. The bullet connects, but bounces harmlessly off of Bishop's heavy armor. Attack:p_1-20+4 = 21 Damage:p_1-4 +2 = 3
#4 is the kobold that Elir saw hiding in the darkness. Having seen the lack of effect of hitting Bishop, he sends his sling bullet at Beth. Since she can't see it coming until it's already on its way, Beth cannot dodge this one as effectively. Still she has no problems dodging the poorly aimed bullet. After launching his bullet, the cobalt stepped to the side so as not to be where he launched his attack from. However Elir could see the move until the others. Attack:p_1-20 +4 = 8
#5 tries to attack past the pillar at Bishop. But the large pillar provides Bishop with half cover (+2 AC).And indeed the bullet bounces off the pillar instead of hitting Bishop. Attack:p_1-20 +4 =18
#6 also attacks Bishop, since Bishop is giving Beth cover from his attack. Bishop easily blocks a shot with his shield. Attack:p_1-20+4 = 12
Under the cover of sling bullets, a black lizard the size of a kobold emerges from the darkness and dives into the foul-smelling pool sending ripples bouncing throughout the pool. It was only visible for a moment, and at the very edge of Bishop's light spell, so it could not be seen clearly.
Also wildly sling bullets were flying, Aegis sends his own attack at #2, the first kobold to attack and the only one actually visible. But the tiefling's Fire Bolt hit the wall instead of the kobold. Attack:p_1-20+5 =11
Tag all. Kobolds attacking from darkness would normally get advantage, but this was canceled out by Beth and Bishop using Dodge actions. Also the positions for #5 and #6 show where they were when they launched their attack. They may actually be somewhere else, since Elir does not have a line of sight to them.1-201-201-201-41-201-201-201-20

As the kobolds reveal themselves Bishop charges forward targeting the closest of them with his warhammer, confident that his armour and shield would protect him from the slings and blades of his small opponents.

( Question what kobolt(s) can we currently see to attack. Or did they all move to where all of us can't see them?)

Elir can see all of them. Anyone else that wants to attack one in darkness needs Elir to tell them where to attack (and the attack will have disadvantage since they are shooting blind). Everyone can see #2, who has cover from the corner.
And of course, when bishop moves he'll be moving the light with him, which will change what can be seen.

Still seeing number two Kobold, Silver (Jokingly), Aegis fires another firebolt at the kobold. He may have singed the wall last time, but this time he wants to singe the entire kobold.

Ok our formation is holding. I'm going to call out target locations but we got to get the light to have us all see them.
He calls out all the locations other than ones that darted out out of his sight.
I have an idea does anyone got torches and a good aim? If so start Lighting them up and toss each into a corner, then they got no place to hide. We take their advantage yet they may just put them out as soon as they land.
( so who has torches from thier gear packs?/does party think this can work? Or can they just do move action to put them out ? if so then there is no way to make that work.)
He then make a dodge action And moves behind his advancing team/ most armored friends.

As the kobolds reveal themselves Bishop charges forward targeting the closest of them with his warhammer, confident that his armour and shield would protect him from the slings and blades of his small opponents. Bishop advances into the room, lighting up more of the room as he does so. He crushes the skull of the kobold hiding behind the corner (#2), but the shifting light reveals more kobolds that had been hiding in darkness.

Still seeing number two Kobold, Silver (Jokingly), Aegis fires another firebolt at the kobold. He may have singed the wall last time, but this time he wants to singe the entire kobold. Seeing the first kobold collapse and puddle of blood spreading from it's location, Aegis switches target to one of the kobolds reviewed by Bishop moving further into the room (#3). He is successful in singing that kobold, but not badly enough to kill it.

can elir light the tip of my bolts before i shoot to create more light? No, he can create flame in his hand for light, or throw it as an attack. But it takes something more to make a flaming arrow.

Since the kobolds are well out of melee range, Beth will focus on defense. She'll advance forward alongside a squishier teammate, standing in front of them to provide cover and taking the dodge action.

( If Beth ends up in L or K 13 Elir will fallow her lead. He is well out of range of his spells but might start tossing daggers/dart but I don't recall range for a daggers or darts.)
As he advanced he calls out to rest of party " Don't forget the one in the water he's still in there."
If I'm not in range of any kobolt Elir will take defensive action as well.
