( Elir will move to G13 putting behind cover from at least one kobolt. Then tries to peg dragon with his spell once it raises back up.)

(Was Bishop not able to make it to B11 with a double move? Standing next to the water seems a little risky )

No, I just placed him on the map wrong. It's fixed now. B11 does leave more of his teammates in the dark (also updated)

Reflex save for Beth: OhMnVotep_1-20p_1-20+1 (+2 from half-cover)=12
Beth was hoping to protect her teammates by standing in the front, but since the dragon attacked from behind, she finds herself protected by them instead, as Elir and Hurick take the brunt of the acid attack. She deflects the rest with her shield. (Reaction to negate the damage with Shield Master.)
Then, like Hurick said, she scatters, running behind the pillar to the west and engaging the kobold there so it can't lay down covering fire.
Move to E16 and attack #5.
p_1-20+5 to hit for p_1-8+3 damage.1-201-201-201-8

The kobold ducks back, avoiding Beth's blow.
Assuming Lincoln stays where he is, readying his short bow and prepared to shoot the Dragon when he comes into view again…

Kobold #4 switches to his dagger and tries to find a vulnerable spot in Bishop's armor. Attack:Nw6_d1lep_1-20 +4 =15 The kobold connected easily enough, but with a solid part of Bishop's armor, to no effect.
Kobold #5 also switches to his dagger, pops out behind cover to try stabbing at Beth, then darts back behind the covering wall (moved to clear shot, attack, move back to cover). Attack:p_1-20 +4 = crit Damage:p_1-4p_1-4 +2 = 7 This kobold has better luck, finding a gap in Beth's armor and inflicts a serious wound.
Dragon recharge:p_1-6(No recharge)
Even underwater, the small Dragon was aware of where everyone was in the room. And it was not happy at all that several members of the group seemed to be making a beeline for its treasure! It emerges from the water to attack the person closest to its treasure that it can reach, Bishop. It is out of reach of Hurick's halberd, but spells and arrows went flying as the Dragon exposed itself: Elir hits the dragon with the thrown flame, but it wasn't a solid hit and didn't seem to hurt it (missed due to natural armor). Aegis misses completely with his witch bolt. Kamon do succeeds in putting a crossbow bolt into the Dragon for 6 points of damage. Lincoln attack:p_1-20 +5 =16, damage =p_1-6+3 = 6 Lincoln also manages to put an arrow into the Dragon for 6 points of damage.
The now badly wounded Dragon attempts to bite Bishop. Attack:p_1-20p_1-20 +5 =17 (advantage from flanking) it was close, very close, but Bishop's armor was sufficient to protect them from the Dragon.

Beth uses her second wind. Bj0upZgyp_1-10+1=6 hit points restored
She'll move one square to the west and attack the kobold.
p_1-20+5 to hit for p_1-8+3 damage
If that kills it, she'll then move to C11 to engage the dragon. If not, she'll remain in the same square.1-101-201-8

Trying to engage the dragon still, Aegis cursed that his magic was apparently useless. Why the hells was a Dragon here of all places? Focusing magic into his hands once more, he fired off a Fire Bolt.
Fire bolt:
DNiLtozd1-20+5 = 24
if Damage
1-10= 8 Damage!
Slamming it into the side of the dragon, Aegis was hopeful that the damned beast would go down. His companions couldn't exactly take another hit like Bishop had.1-201-10

This time Aegis hits the Dragon solidly. When combined with the arrow and crossbow bolt sticking out of it, the heat was enough to finish off the Dragon.
Looking at it, this was a very young dragon, perhaps recently hatched. But Black dragons were swamp creatures, and this wasn't anywhere near the swamps. But then Aegis remembered that Kobolds were fascinated by dragons. They must have gotten a dragon egg from the lizard men further south.
Hurick comments, "Good work all. This explains why the kobolds became more of a hazard. And it's a good thing we pressed on, otherwise the dragon would have gotten more kobolds to follow it and we'd have been right back where we started."
Combat over. Tag all

Let's loot the kobolds and the hoard and search the room for anything else that's hidden.

Pausing to be sure that the dragon was dead, Bishop takes up a more central position in the room to provide the best light for the party and watches carefully for any stray kobolds while the others check the room.

Aegis blinked a few times as he realized he actually killed a dragon. Coughing, he made sure to look as impressive as possible before declaring, "I guess this means I'm a dragon slayer now...technically making up for all of my misses" he said, walking over to the hoard and looking to see what's actually there.

" Well dragon slayer do be sure if it's parents ask who was responsible your the first to raise your hand. Sure it's a wonderful title until larger dragons get wind of it. Then they all come for you. So keep the title if you wish just know the responsibility and reprocustions that comes with it.
Yet the 3 of you placed 3 nice shots into him so very well done taking one down is not simple.
Sir I get pushing on led to an ok outcome yet I feel very lucky none of us died just now, with all do respect I felt it was reckless today it may have worked next time it may not be such a great outcome.
Had that dragon been bigger we would have been very screwed. Yet yes we did stop them so now the mission is complete.
As for me im not taking a share of the loot. For its wrong of me to take a share if I'm not staying.
Once we head back out of here I'll need to set off to find my brother. I wish you all the best."

Hurick agrees, "indeed, a larger Dragon could've felled us with one blow each. But unless we killed the dragon, we have not dealt with the kobold menace. As for not claiming a share of the treasure because you're leaving. That's all the more reason to claim a share. Besides, we'll all be going our separate ways after this."

The kobolds in this room have nothing of value other than their daggers. The pile of coins is quite impressive however, almost 130 pounds of assorted coins with a few black gems mixed in. Sorting the coins and estimating by weight, the group comes up with: 4200 CP 2200 SP 160 GP 8 Black Onyx (worth 50 GP each)
Divided 8 ways, each person gets: 525 CP 275 SP 20 GP 1 Black Onyx (worth 50 GP)
Treasure from previous rooms: 10 GP per player Bone Mask (from leader) green dragon hide leather Pair of engraved bone dice embroidered silk handkerchief Potion of Healing Portion of Greater Healing
12 SP per person
10 CP + 1 GP per person
20 CP per person
The bone Mask and green dragon hide are group treasures that need to be turned in for rewards. The Pair of engraved bone dice, embroidered silk handkerchief, and potions of healing can be divided as you wish.

Somewhat surprised by Elir's statement, Aegis tried to rebut it, but nothing came out. "I...wasn't literally thinking of calling myself a dragon-slayer, it was me being happy that I actually took part in killing that monstrosity. I bet the people back home will be really proud of us for ending this menace though. Maybe the militia can establish a small HQ here now, or maybe we could use this place as a base of operations when we are out in the field. This place IS well fortified, although the front entrance obviously has way too many openings and needs to be overhauled. Either way, Elir, I understand why you have to go. I appreciate that you came this far with us and I hope you find your brother"
