kamon-do says
I vote to skin the dragon for scales to make amor and spell components wizards would pay a pretty gp for.(wispers silent prayer to IO that this soul find a different color in the next life.) Except for a couple of holes and some scorching, the skin is still reasonably intact. But because this was a small dragon (as in the same size as a halfling or Kobold), there isn't much leather there. Not nearly enough to make a suit of armor, but perhaps enough to cover a shield. Or to make more decorative items to announce one as a dragon slayer. There is at least one man in town who can work with dragon hide, since he hired you to retrieve the green dragon hide (from a much larger dragon). Is anyone object to Kamon-DO skinning the dragon?

Aegis does not object to Kamon-DO's skinning of the dragon.

" I did not mean for u not to be happy, we all should be. It was a well placed fire bolt. I wish mine did not Glace off as it did but I'm not surprised it did for scales are well inforced.
I did not know you were joking about the title.
Just I had friends who gave themselves the title troll killers once. They killed many until well one big one came looking for the so called troll killers.
At night it found them and started bashed them to death while they were sleeping. By the time some of them woke it was to late and it killed them all. I only know for my captain sent a surch party . We saw the location and found troll tracks with battered tents and lots of blood. We never found the bodies nor the troll.
I did want dragons to go after you over some title. That is why I was trying to warn you. "
Give he was told to take his share he will take it.
" Dragons are not part of things I must protect, I have no issue with it."

Is Elir willing to do the skinning? He's probably the best at it.

kamon-do takes elirs hand and looks at her friend to say goodbye without words as a bond between her and him was established (in backstory)find your brother but know you had family with all this time E. (she puts a respectful hand on his shoulder as hugs in front of the others would make him feel uncomfortable)

Beth takes her share of the hoard and collects the kobolds' daggers. (She now has 12 daggers. Always nice to have backup weapons.)
"Yuck, you're not really going to do that here, are you?" she asks Elir as he starts checking his pack for a flensing knife. "Can't you just bring back the whole thing and sell it to a tanner?"

" Well I was going to do it as a gift to k, there are other rooms beth you don't have to look. I don't mean to be disgusting yet it's only way that it can be a gift from me.
If others do it the meaning of the gift is lost."

"So..." Aegis says, coughing a bit in the silence, "Who wants the pair of engraved bone dice, embroidered silk handkerchief, and the two potions? I'm interested in the dice if no one wants it" he says, interrupting the moment.

As soon as the remaining treasures are divided, I can post the conclusion for this thread and introduce the next. If no one wants a treasure, you can sell it in town and split the cash.

I suggest the group keep the healing potions, perhaps as Party treasure (since there's no predicting who's going to need it).

keep the potions seems best but selling and spliting the rest is good for me minus the dice since someone expressed interest in them. i do ask Elir to help me with the scales as I have plans for them.

Do either of the ladies (Beth or Kamon) want the embroidered silk handkerchief? Or anyone else?

After skinning the dragon and dividing the other treasure the group makes their way back to Fallcrest uneventfully.
Hurick turns in the Mask of the Goblin Leader and receives a bonus. Beth's share of this bonus is 20 GP.
The non-solders turn over the green dragon hide to Teldorthan Goldcap, the dwarven armorer. He pays the promised treasure of 100 GP, which split 5 ways is 20 GP each.
Then the group goes their separate ways, though some stay in touch with each other.
After a few days of regular patrols, Beth realizes that the normal day to day life of a solder is actually pretty boring, at least when compared to the life of an adventurer. But when she talks to her commander, she finds that she's committed serving out the rest of her stint. But Hurick isn't big on rules (which is why he doesn't have a higher rank after all these years), so he places Beth on detached duty. She does need to keep him informed of what's adventures she's going on, and report on the results when she gets back. Also, while in town, she's expected to be keeping an eye out for trouble and either report on it or deal with it (then report on what she did). Hurick will uses these to justify her detached duty status to his superiors.
OOC: In other words, Beth is still a solder of the guard, but she can go adventuring with the rest of the group without being AWOL. She can also deal with in town disturbances as a member of the guard, not just a civilian.
Lincoln gives Beth some training on how to pick locks, disable traps, and how to aim attacks most effectively. Lincoln then returns home.

Bishop returns to his lodgings at the church of his god, donating a customary tithe and setting about repairs to his equipment wishing to be quickly ready to set out once more, if only to watch the roads and nearby homesteads as he felt was his duty.
Counting his coin he wondered if it might be sufficient to purchase sturdier armour, his lifestyle calling for little else.
(what is the resale of used equipment here?)
