Seeing no sign of the yowlers in the immediate vicinity Ka'lion quickly leads his horse through the abandoned forge before they return. The constructs remain where they reformed, Ka'lion believes he could run past them to the doorway alone but pulling his horse through the gap would take more time.
Still he could not linger long making plans as the yowlers may pick up on his scent should they return.
(Would Ka'lion prefer a solo adventure or an NPC helper?)

NPC helper and he'll keep his horse or he'd need to buy a new one.

Ka'lion would return home as he has no support as back up. Going the rest of the way he'd consider just to dangerious. And trying to meet a reckless leader may be even more dangerious. Is Ka'lion retiring (temporarily or otherwise) from adventuring or just seeking power, knowledge, and riches along another path? In order to return home Ka'lion would have to travel through (or near) Burr Town, through a part of Merebas, the desert and the scattered empires of the great plains beyond, and further. Or do you just mean his new home, now under construction in the forest near the monastery? Adventures hooks all the way, but if the character just wants to take downtime then you also have the option to bring in an alternate level 7 character to join the party who can later be swapped out again if desired when the group as a whole catches up chronologically. If it is adventure you want you'll find a fresh batch of level 7 NPCs at Burr (Ka'lion will level up on his way there)

Ka'lion will head to the lizard valley. It sounded hopeless to me.

His first task will be navigating the constructs - pulling the horse through is a bit of a tight squeeze to do quickly and there is a minefield of trigger plates between them and the exit.
The constructs for their part remain immobile just beyond the gap, though Ka'lion does not know how far or fast they will pursue if attacked.

Ka'lion puts his net out in frount of the exit the party created and tired to the horse and fires at one of the constructs.

Roll to hit and damage, though it is almost impossible to miss at this range. Also roll init.

Ka'lion init |5_53TBWp_1-20+6=13 to hit with bow with great sword in easy reach. p_1-20+8=14 p_1-8+2 str+1 magic bow=11
Now if Ka'lion can complete 1 level as a wizard and 1 more as a druid he'll be ready for his shapeshifter studies - 10 levels latter he'll be casting 4th druid spells and 4th level wizard spells and be able to shapechange into all kinds of things. Of course he needs to live that long. And he'll be a fighter as skilled as a ranger just not the same. I like Ka'lion he's a fun experiment but I don't want him dead. So when things look hopeless it time to find some help. It's a good thing his displomanacy skills have improved a bit. I'm at home bleeding all over the bed so it's not much fun. I'll see my doctor tomarrow. But my appointments in 6 hours. I think I'll be fine.1-201-201-8

The arrow sticks in the constructs back as it rounds quickly and runs to attack Ka'lion, hacking at the net between them with its scimitar.
It doesn't seem strong enough to easily burst the rope but its sword will make relatively short work of the net.

The net was laying on the floor. It was never a barrier. It was a carpet and a trap and nothing more and one that has not even been actavated yet. Go ahead and make your attack if your able to enter the mines outside of the room otherwise the construct is showing intelagance it shouldn't have.

I'll roll the attack once i'm back home with the stats. The constructs can leave the room freely but would ignore a net on the ground.

The construct comes in swinging, but its initial blow goes wide as it is forced to navigate the gap in the wall and the net on the floor. As far as Ka'lion can tell no other construct has moved to follow.

The blow lands cleanly, though much of the force is absorbed by the constructs armour Ka'lion can see that he has damaged it.
Still the construct fights on unabated with significant speed and agility for such a thing, narrowly missing Ka'lion with its next blow.

Ka'lion drives his sword into the constructs chest, a lethal blow for a human but of little concern for the largely hollow construct who takes advantage of the opening to slash at Ka'lions arms (4 damage)

The constructs next swing goes well wide, but it still seems quite spritely. Ka'lion recalls those destroyed by his companions earlier had been smashed and melted when he arrived.
Nearby Ghost awaits instructions atop the back of Ka'lions horse, impassively regarding the combat.

(no critical hit damage against constructs and a big pool of hitpoints for the subtype, plus a little bit of DR - if you want to post a couple of turns of attacks to speed up combat you can though there is always the risk of the construct landing a critical hit of its own with a weapon like a scimitar)
