The slaver lets out a high-pitched yelp as the bolt of fire strikes it in the chest.
Mika shouts out "we are under attack." As she moves up to the slavers while drawing her sword. Reaching the slaver that Aegis had burnt, Mika strikes down with her sword.

Her sword strikes true, finishing off the Gnoll who had been concerned about attacking the demonic appearing teiflings. It appears that his concerns were valid.
The remaining three Gnolls attempt to stab Mika with their spears.

attack 3p_1-20+4 =13
But none were able to pierce her Splint mail

Thrack hears words under attack now well awake he grabs his flail and comes out swinging at the closest enemy he can.

Beth snaps awake and scrambles out of her bedroll, hastily donning her shield and weapon belt and regretting taking her chain mail off before going to sleep.
Donning a shield takes an action, so unfortunately no attack this round.

Thrack hears words under attack now well awake he grabs his flail and comes out swinging at the closest enemy he can. The Gnolls are about 30 feet from the group. Since Thrack spends half of his movement just getting up he can't reach one this turn. |

Not an immediately fatal wound, but that Gnoll was not in good shape. |

Already in the midst of the Gnolls, Mika continues pressing her attack on the wounded Gnoll.

The wounded Gnoll returned Mika's attack but was not able to get a solid blow past Mika's armor.(just barely missed her AC)

The other two Gnolls closed in on the group, one going for Aegis and the other for Kamon-DO.

But Aegis simply rolled aside to get out of the way while Kamon-DO parried the thrust using her crossbow.
The battle wasn't going well for the Gnolls.

They just went (though they didn't manage to hurt anyone), so it's now the characters turn again. And this time the gnolls conveniently closed the range so their is no problem for anyone to get to a target :-) |
