(it's a good roll - but sadly the ogre can't talk now that it has assumed its gaseous form)

A'lion was talking to the creature that was pinking out from behind the rock.

Vadania pulls out her wand of Vigor, and uses it on herself and Ka'lion (1 charge each to start). Once she isn't near passing out, she can face the newcomer.

The girl, about as far from an ogre as you can get, takes a moment to realise Ka'lion is talking to her before replying "Emily".
Her accent sounds like one of the Steadlands with some of the westlands mixed in. Ka'lion can see that she carries a staff strapped across her back in addition to the crossbow, and a knife at her belt, but little else in terms of obvious arms and armour.

Vadania asks, "What are you doing here Emily?" Vadania's voice indicates curiosity as to how she happens to be here, not that Emily shouldn't be here.

"Emily is an unusual name for an ogre. So how did you get here?" asks Ka'lion thinking Emaly could be the ogre mage in disguise. He continues to tease her gently also thinking she was hiding from the ogres, which is also possible. He hasn't made up his mind yet.

Vadania looks at Ka'lion, wondering if he's losing his eyesight along with his mind. But she waits for Emily's response before saying anything.

Ka'lion seems to be staring slightly over the girls head, as he is prone to do while using hit hat of disguise to appear taller.
Emily responds, "I saw the ogre in the air... also... did you find a cave near here?"

OOC: How far away is the wizards cave we looted? About half a day, and the markings were those of the Order of Seropaenes - clerics mostly. Vadania can make out a symbol of some sort hung around the neck of this individual (knowledge:religion)

Knowledge Religion: cNVcU5emp_1-20+3=22 It looks to be the symbol of Hamaskis - a western-realm god of Learning and Sorcery, or rather how he is know in these lands. The western pantheon has some pull amongst in Woldegard, particularly along the coast, and to the west of the fell in the port of Blacksand and the surrounding villages. They are not widely worshipped in the Steadlands or to the south and considered little more than minor deities. From what little Vadania knows about belief in the western lands beyond the sea (and of those who sail it), the more powerful gods are viewed as unconcerned with the affairs of mortals while tangible favour, and disfavour, can be gained with those gods that serve beneath them.

"Well - you can look for your cave when it's safe to do so. The flying ogre is still in the area. We just don't know where." says Ka'lion

Ka'lion knows little more than Vadania, the western gods little known in the south and priests of Hamaskis few and far between at the best of times.

Ka'lion calls his owls to him and casts speak with animal, He tells his owls to search for the flying ogres foot prints. He does the same to the wolf. He also casts cure light wounds on the wolf. pcdLuCSBp_1-8+4=111-8

The owls begin their search, though the ogres footprints are easy enough to find in the mud before it took to the skies. Ylva disregards Ka'lions command.
Emily speaks up again, "I think there has been a misunderstanding, it's not my cave."

"Why do you think we know which cave your taking about. We've been in a dozen of them." said Ka'lion

Emily fishes out what looks like a small holy symbol from her pocket, shaped like a star compass. "I came into possession of this a few years back, and it started glowing this morning."
The party can see that the edge of the object nearest them glows with an arcane light. Emily adds, "the man who sold it said it would lead to a cave here. I don't know if he knew what he had, i'm not sure I do either, but I think it's part of an alarm enchantment, do you see these symbols here?"
The girl turns the symbol around to show the top of it to the party, the glow shifting to always point towards them as she does. "ahhh, so that's also why i'm here", Emily seems to realise that she is rambling on, and glances back at the sky while holding the object up so that the group can see it.

Does her glowing symbol match the symbol of the last cave we were in?
