Just updated Vadania and Ylva's character sheet to add rations, endure elements crsytal, and full wnad of lessor vigor to Vadania and barding, endure elements crystal, saddle bags, and rations to Ylva.
I didn't find the hammer on my character sheet, nor the DR 5 vs fire crystal, though I was sure I had both. She's leaving the hammer with the order anyway, but was going to hang on to the crystal for others to use when fighting demons. Also, does DR 5 vs fire protect against the heat of a hot desert?
Looking over the character sheet, it looks like she's still carrying her old Masterwork Hide armor, she'll leave that at the order for them in exchange for Ylva's barding.
Also, I'm not sure her AC is correct, if it's counting the +2 for the shield or the +1 from the cloak. I don't think she can use either when using her bow, don't know about when casting spells. How long does it take her to put on her old shield or take it off?Vadania will make sure the order has a bag of sand so that she can contact them. She'll be trying to use that spell to contact Berith, if that doesn't work, she'll check the tree again. Or perhaps the reply will be to go check the tree  She'll check out the merchants to see if they have anything interesting, but probably won't be able to afford it. There's not much left she'd be willing to give up.

Let's include Ka'lion in the spell as well—I believe you can get multiple people with it, right?
Per Rules Compendium page 156, fire resistance 5 provides the same protection against heat dangers as an endure elements spell; likewise for cold resistance 5 against cold dangers. Resistance also applies to lethal and nonlethal damage dealt by the temperature bands you're not immune to.

Vadania places the required sand focus on a table in a quiet room, sat across from Brennen and Tink, and casts the spell. It appears to have functioned - what does she wish to say? 1) Does DR 5 vs fire protect against the heat of a hot desert?

2) Don't forget the cloak offers a +2 deflection bonus beyond it's shield bonus, that may be what you are looking at? (the cloak shield AC naturally doesn't stack with an actual shield).
It's a move action to ready a shield, and a free action to draw and drop a weapon - though to shoulder her bow would take an additional move action.Let's include Ka'lion in the spell as well—I believe you can get multiple people with it, right?

Vadania says, "We are at the Silver Flame Monastery. we would like transport to the city of Alamut." This is the first time Vadania hss used this spell, so she keeps it short.
Also, I've forgotten which spell this is so I can't look up how it works.
Could you send the details of the Fire protection armor gem so I can add it back to my character sheet.

There is a pause, and then a garbled whispering from the sand, "I fear I have been detained by other matters in the south, but my sister can meet you by the tree in an hour if that is agreeable"Could you send the details of the Fire protection armor gem so I can add it back to my character sheet.
I've also updated my character wealth table - there is still some headroom at this level which will be random/tradable loot from the next adventure unless anyone is looking for something specific for their character built |

Vadania answers, "That is agreeable."
She then echoes to the others, "His sister will meet us by the tree in an hour, we better get going!"
Thanks, I looked there for it, but somehow didn't see it. No particular requests for magic items.

Gathering their things the party sets out on the short journey to the tree, finding Beriths sister - or at least who they assume to be so - already there examining the tree itself. Like Berith Brennen can see that she has cast spells to ward off detection magic.
She is clad in layers of coloured silk and beneath that some form of skin-tight garment that covers her head to toe, face included from what the group can see. A rune-covered staff is slung across her back and a small broad-headed rodent like creature is perched on her shoulder that Brennen identifies as a beguiler, a magical creature known to be able to see through illusion.

"hmm?", the woman looks up from the tree and pulls the covering on her face aside like a hood, though her eyes are still mostly hidden by a veil, "yes, you may address me as Lady Moriana. My brother said he had offered you his assistance in some matter to the east?"

Vadania answered, "Yes Lady Moriana, a demon has escaped from long captivity and is seeking to free other captured demons. It has gone into the desert to free a demon held there. We wish to join others that have gone to try and thwart it's attempt to free another demon. They have reported from the city of Alamut, so we wish transport there."

"That would explain some of what has been happening, it seems that everyone around here wants to take advantage of the recent uncertaintly to make their own play."
She readies her staff, Brennen privately a little surprised that she needed such a runestaff given her brothers obvious power - though she did seem somewhat younger. "Ready to go?"
