"Yeah. The last time I was the only one to go down because I was the only one of us that can swim." says Ka'lion

Vadania commented, "Now anyone who wants to can go. I suggest we do the lake first while the sun is still up. We can explore the cave next, since we'll need light in there anyway."

" I cant swim in this, nither can shamious. It a waste of spells on us. Perhaps him and i stay out here. We left before i could uncurse the box. So prehaps its best i do that before we do anything eles?. "

"Ah, nonsense! If I can get my feathers wet, so can you," says Brennen jovially.
"Yes, water you worried about? I'm sure everything will go swimmingly!" says Tink.

"I was thinking I'd need to set Ghost free and summon a new animal companion to enter the water with us. And when we are done how are we going to carry everything we find?" asks Ka'lion
Ka'lions horse is carrying a medium load, the gm's math was off. He didn't include 81 gold coins.. (what happened the rest of 600? he set aside for his house? At this point Ka'lions been walking his horse

"I bet we could pull it out easy enough," says Brennen.
"With your scrawny little arms? I'd lake to sea you try!" says Tink.
"I was thinking with rope."
"Oh, yeah, I guess that might work."

"The one in the water is to far away from the bank to pull out with a rope and what I saw down their suggests huge eel's. They may attack us." says Ka'lion
Keep in mind people Ka'lion has no druid spells left. He used them all up healing himself and the group.

Peering into the water Brennen can't see eels, though there are fish here. He can just about make out what might be the remains of a ship, though how such a thing came to be here in the middle of a valley he does not know. We left before i could uncurse the box. So prehaps its best i do that before we do anything eles?. " (The box and its contents were left in the shielded cave as per the post on the last page, to ensure the party could not be tracked here)

Also, there was no magic detected on the box to be removed. It seems to be simply one of multiple targets of a permanent locate spell.
Vadania says, "You're armor looks heavy enough you should simple be able to walk along the bottom. That's what I plan to do. But I think piercing weapons will work better than slashing or bashing under water."

" Well thats the thing say the spell gets disspelled by something. Then im drowning. I want a way out if things go bad.
Its best we stay out of this one. We will hold up here. Have fun dont die. "

Chilly, but not unexpectedly so. The magical cold has not settled this far east.
(George and his companion would have noticed on the way back snow and dark clouds to the south west)

Ka;lion walks his horse as close to the cave as they can get and anchor's a rope and heads in to the space behind the waterfall.

The pool behind the waterfall is fairly shallow, perhaps two meters at its deepest and entirely flooded. There is something large buried here in the silt and Ka'lion clears a little away to reveal a ships figurehead.

So when a corse of action has been proposed for consideration(explore lake first while there is still light outside), Ka'lion leaves the group to go off and do his own thing (explore underwater cave first). He doesn't make a counter proposal, he doesn't say anything to the group, he just heads out on his own. Am I understanding this correctly?
Meanwhile, does Tink want to continue to explore under the lake, or should we go after Ka'lion, or do we split up and do both? Does Tink want to check under the lake first to see if there is anything that might be worth investigating and maybe see what possible threats are?

Tink is fine going with the group consensus.

The group can see Ka'lion a short distance away as he wanders off, should they wish to continue with their own course of action.
It will take him a little while to mess around with his ropes and search out the pool - does anyone wish to head underwater in the meantime?

George made it clear he's afraid of the water. Ka'lions hoping to help Goerge feel safe enough to get wet ( in the real world I know a few people that are afraid of the water. Some will enter shallow water but won't go any deeper.) Ka'lion could tell that Vedanta wants to dive on the reck but she was afraid of the water the last time we where here because she can't swim and still can't. The whole party needs to learn to swim or Ka'lion's not diving on the wreak either. He'd have no one able to help him if he got into trouble. ( scuba divers always dive in pairs for safety reasons.) Ka'lion want to the cave to teach the party when they are ready to swim. He is not asking them to follow his lead. He knows it the moral, ethical and responceable way to deal this adventure. If you are in armor stay out of the water or drown!

It sounds like we've got two votes for the cave, one vote for the lake, and one abstention. I think the caves have it. Let's start with the cave, then.
Re: George's way out—worst comes to worst, can't he just dimension door back to the surface? That removes the need for swimming. If he has freedom of movement, that would also be an option to let him move freely underwater, IIRC.
