Ka'lion aims for what he believes to be the approximate centre of the forested areas, using the light of the sun to set his direction as the group must weave around trees with the cart.
The heavy dust is difficult to breath in and makes the forest far warmer and darker than the wastes beyond. At length the trees open out into fields and a great depression that may have once been a lake. At the edge of the lake amongst manicured stone gardens sits a mansion of the same stone as the rest of this curious place.
Looking back the group can easily see the path they took to get here, the thinner rock formations - grass, fallen leaves and such have crumbled beneath their footsteps.
Knowledge: the planes and/or spellcraft. The heat and heavy dust has left the group sickened without some method of mitigation to aid their breathing, though a DC16 fort save negates this for now. Rigorous activity will quickly leave them fatigued here.

What happened to my spellcraft? It's gone. It should be around 8 right now.

What happened to my spellcraft? It's gone. It should be around 8 right now. You must have inadvertently deleted it during a previous edit (you can see who last edited the sheet in the bottom right of the post). Just tally up your characters skill points and allocate however many you are short (if appropriate) to the skill. It's not relevant to this test though.

Ka'lion suspects this may have at one point been a demi-plane. Much like the pocket dimension inside the construct they had found in the Steadlands but far, far larger.
Perhaps it was turned to stone when it fell through the dimensions into the wastes, or perhaps it was always stone. In any event it now seems firmly embedded in the material plane.

Shamious : "George i dont feel good, i feel.." he stumbles a bit.
Wow wow easy. He then supports him before he collapses.
Kalion i think this once use to be another realm. Not sure what one but its not ours. Shamious is not feeling good but he was tip top before comming in. I know you want to exore more but i feel it might be best to get out of here. How are you feeling by the way?"

Kalion i think we are in another realm. To clarify George thinks it was once another realm, and that it has now fallen into the material plane. So far he has not sensed any change in gravity, time, or any other alteration that would suggest that they have shifted between planes.

If this was a demi-plane - there is going to be treasure somewhere. You don't build demi planes for no reason. You build them as a personal place to live.

So just so im clear you want to find loot in a plane you know nothing of from beings you have not meet? Aren't you the one who told me half the things we ran from could kill us? Im not saying no ka'lion cause yes we need the gear but we should plan it out shamious does not look good at all.
( also did ka'lion do his fort save yet?)

fort save for what? Ka'lion intends to return home. This stone forest is unknown to him. He should of heard about it. So he wants to take a look around so he can report it and it is on the way. Ka'lion doesn't know how far we'd need to go to walk around it. As far as treasure = Ka’lion is not intrested in making enemies but he does want to know if any enamies are nearby. Don’t you?

( O dm asked us to make a fort save while we were in here, and yes he does want to know about enemies how i read it that was in character but i can see now it was OOc. So ok a quick look here is fine but i don't want to say like days here. If in like an hr or two then we go to your family, use getting sick here is not great. shamus already failed his save. George passed but knows he might not be able to fight it off long. longer we say more likely we all get it.)

(DC16 fort or sickened - it just represents the difficulty of breathing in the heat and dust here)The crumbling mansion is the old structure the group has encountered. If the area is circular then, based on the distance they have travelled, there may be space for other structures and clearings hidden in the trees. Ka'lion estimates the area as no more than three miles across if this is the centre.

The dust here is oppressive. Wondering where it comes from Ka'lion scrapes a hand across a nearby tree releasing another plume of it - this whole place is slowly disintegrating, the dust in the air likely just from the breeze. He wonders if even magical items would have survived such a destructive transition between planes. What he does believe however is that little of this place will remain a few months from now, perhaps far less if a particularly bad storm blows in. survival +6 + knowledge nature +10 (it was survival. Not sure if Ka'lion has a handkerchief to use though he can probably find a scrap of cloth from somewhere...)

Ka'lion has winter clothes a scarf would be part of that.
He could also wrap his blanket or cape to keep the dust out.

Closing on the building the party find the doors closed, the glass windows turned to stone. The style of the architecture is unknown to either but the scale, while exaggerated, seems suitable for an ordinary human.
