Vadanias talisman flashes with silver flame as she draws its strength into her bow and lets loose a blinding bolt of flame that even makes the near blind Nillfree duck away.
And with that the last of the attackers is slain, or at least Vadania hopes - there are fewer bodies than attackers, were the rest illusions or have some slipped away in the mist?
Two guards have also survived thanks to Rorsans healing and the party's quick action, the one least injured now tending to his companion.

" There still could be more of them. The naga have powerful magic. I have fought them a while ago. They want to destabilize the area. To do that they will kill the prince and take his form. The naga love deseaving others with illusions and misdirections. Tho with the lights turn out in my eyes its really hard to fight them. I hope i did not jab at any of u, if i did sorry about that.
Wow that wolf has grown since i saw you too last. I saw ka'lion is not with you."

The guard are insistent that they must protect the inner palace, but are clearly doubtful they have a chance against such magic.
Normally such an attack would have been unthinkable even with the freezing spell against the palaces golems but the attackers had arrived after they had been dispatched. Such a large attack must have been waiting ready and Vadania hoped that their earlier discovery had tipped the hand of the attackers early rather than adding to its potency.
From the guards account there was a secure inner citadel beyond this point, palace guards and constructs who never left their posts. So long as it held there was hope.

The thing about thier magic it is ment to disorient abd deceive. I got blinded but it ment i had to relly on my friends to help give me the targets. Getting rid of thier illustions quickly led to us tag teaming them down. The crappy part is they my have magic to look like regular gaurds and could slip inside. We get your prince needs to be saved but the nagga are not fools have have done this quite a lot. All we can do is stay smart and alert. If any gaurd start acting out of the norm you need to be 100% its not a nagga.
( has my sight returned yet.)

Vadania will pull out a wand of lessor vigor to assist in healing as needed (not sure how good Rorsan's healing is).
To the guard she says, "We don't want to intrude, but as you've seen, we can help. Just point us were we are needed and we'll help defend the prince."

" To be honest I came to find u guys after months of travel not to fight things that can blind me with no warring. In my time i saw what these nagga could do and the odds aren't great. They can impersonate anyone even the prince, thats why the inner blockade wont work unless they are prepared for such deception and no offence but u guys wern't thats why i dont have higher hopes right now. No offence but i was able to slip in and not be found here without magic.
They can do far worse with some at hand. I dont want your country to fall, but please dont underestimate your foe if you think a stright up fight will win the day it won't and the city will fall. You need to outsmart them at thier own game.
I agree im here to help as long as im not charged with crimes i may have done while i was here. If that is agreed then ill take out as many nagga as i can.
Tho um someone will have to lead my stride for the moment given well untill i can see again."

Responding to Nillfree's comment about Ylva, Vadania says, "While we were fighting the demon in the Sivler Flame monistary, Ylva was charged by the Silver Flame and grew to her current size. I was charged with the Silver Flame as well, though the effects were not as extreme. Any of my weapon attacks are now the same as a silver weapon and do extra fire damage."
When Nillfree says that he came to find us, not to fight, Vadania explains, "The four of us are here to fight the demons, or at least thwart their plans. It appears we were used as part of a diversion, so I feel at least partially responsible for this happening. Thus I will be assisting in any way I can. I welcome your company and hope you will join us, but I do feel committed to fight the attackers here. But if you do get blinded again, we will take care of you to keep you as safe as we can."

" Thats all i can ask for. Its not your fult they used you. You had zero way of knowing. They do that sort of thing and they are exelent masters of it. You always did take things at face value, but kind but this is not on you at all.
I will say if we are going to fight them we need to do it smart.
Area attacks are best at wiping out the illustions. Seeing past the illustions will help. If you see past them let others know. If we have counter spellers use them. Getting the drop on them for a change will be best. If you have any magical armerments grab them along the way if possible and use them. we will need all the help they will provide us. Its time to get to saving the prince."

Moriana kneels over one of the fallen naga while Rorsan helps with the healing, "quite elementary magic, barely more than a hedge wizard", standing up holding a ring from the naga, "just smoke and illusion, and this..."
The eldar of the two guards adds, "illusions and enchantments will not penetrate the citadel, others have tried. But in all my years i've not heard of anything like this cold, not even from the high sorcerers."

Vadania comments, "I've seen something like this cold before, it caused deep snow over a wide area, but I was busy with another quest, so I didn't track down the source of the cold."

(it only takes a few moments for Nillfrees sight to return - he was dazzled by the bright light, nothing more)
The guards can guide the party to the central citadel if that is where they wish to go, unless they have other plans?

After using the wand to heal the group advances cautiously with the guards catching glimpses of movement ahead but no immediate attacks.
The route takes them though some form of indoor garden, frozen beneath a ceiling of glass and iron. The party pulls up as a lone figure steps out before them - as vast lion of bronze plates quite unlike the golems the group had seen before. As it stands across their path Vadania and the others scan around seeking movement amongst the stone pillars and frozen plants lest this be an ambush.

If you wish - though the party acts first here regardless of roll unless they decide to delay or take another approach.
