( i mean im more trying to not fight it if we don't have to. My sneak attack wont do anything to constructs or do half then half againish do to Possible dr so Nillfree is not dumb and knows it can wistand a frountal assault. That his contrabution to the fight will be next til nil.
He gets Its ment to slow us down from getting to the prince. Im not sure how good the party is at sneaking tho and im not sure what our other options are. Given i have little clue what party can actually do since a few he has not meet and ones he has its been months.
Speak with animal wont work nor will many druid spells to keep it at bay due to as a construct.)

( i mean im more trying to not fight it if we don't have to.) There is actually a bit more to this encounter than just the construct. However the first decision of the party is what to do about it - if they wish to attack or are attacked then init will be needed, otherwise time passes normally until some decision can be reached on how to deal with this stand-off. If Nillfree wishes to slip into the shadows, consult his companions, or make some other non-combat action he can do so without rolling init.

George can make out faint and scattered tracks in the frosty ground, both human and lion. Though oddly this construct seems to have left none.

In a wisper to the group,
" there are lion tracks here but the construct did not leave any of its own. Im no ranger but it maybe waiting to ambush us with that one as an attention drawer. Along with human tracks but those could just be more nagga in disguise. We need a plan. Its odd that lion did not just attack us alread. So again if its another illustion i dont think it can attack us but i dont know for sure. We dont have to use or waste our best spells on it, but once we do interact with it we will be infor a possible big fight. I cant hurt constructs all at much. I could try to sneak around and see what i find."

"So this might be an illusion, eh?", says Vadania as she confirms the lack of golem tracks while she moves a little away from the others.
Vadania Spot: NU5wYyKjp_1-20+14 = 26
"Let's see how solid it is..." she says as he lightly tosses a pebble at the lion golem.
OOC: Vadania is circling the lion rather than approaching, so that if she provokes a reaction it is directed at her and not everyone. She was also checking for others hiding in the garden before tossing the pebble.1-20

Vadania readies her pebble, but hesitates as she catches sight of the slightest movement behind a nearby frozen tree - a shadow slightly out of place.
If this was an ambush the pebble would show the game is up, then again so would undue hesitation... and neither Rorsan nor Moriana had travelled enough with Vadania to be sure of picking up any subtle clues.
Vadania can take one single action (which may prompt an action from Nillfree and the others) - throwing the pebble or something else

Vadania, at the last moment, switches to casting a Magic Missile spell at the barely seen shadow (using a Pass Without Trace slot). She's trying to get a surprise attack on those trying to ambush them, counting on the Magic Missiles to hit even difficult targets. To alert the others she yells out "Ambush!" as she attacks.

The magic strikes true as there is a flurry of activity around the party, the would be attackers caught somewhat unprepared.
Like the first group these appear human, Nillfree wonders if perhaps they had sought to disguise the origins of the attack by not revealing themselves. Vadania also spots more mechanical lions rising from cover and wonders if these too were illusions.

Vadania is first to react as two new lions and a half dozen would be assassins leap from cover, the presumably illusionary lion remaining where it was first seen - its presence a sign that there may be spellcasters here, though Vadania can see nothing clearly marking any of the attackers as one from their equipment.

Vadania starts by summing a flaming sphere. While not a powerful attack, it's something she can use while making other attacks in the following rounds. She sends it after the closest ambusher.
Flaming Sphere damage: 5Ibnlf_4p_1-6p_1-6 =4 (Dex save to negate)
OOC: Well that was a dud...1-61-6

The assassin leaps aside as the flaming sphere appears but as before they bide their time seeking advantage before attack. Two direct magic at the mechanical lions while the rest throw a mixture of alchemical fire, thunderstones, and tanglefoot bags at the party.
One of the firebombs explodes ineffectually against Vadania while a second is directed at Rorsan and the tanglefoot bag at Ylva (DC15 reflex to escape). The blast of the thunderstone is large enough to catch most of the party (DC15 fort vs temporary deafening)

Vadania identifies the spell as a simple but effective strength increasing transmutation, and the closest quickly demonstrates its benefits as it leaps forward to attack Vadania herself with a blow that feels like a tree had fallen on her - a particularly sharp tree at that (14 damage).
The construct then bites at the elf trying to lift her from her feet but Vadanias shield is wider than its jaws and holds it off for now.
Not far beyond the second construct moves for Ylva but is buried beneath a block of viscous swirling sand, doubtful to hold it long but enough to delay it for now.
Behind them, caught by the tanglefoot, Rorsan struggles to escape as the guards work to cut him free.

OOC: I think this is the first time an attack has piercer Vadania's skin since her blood got turned into molten metal. I've been wondering what the effect (if any would be). One drop of blood seemed like it was melting a hole in a stone floor. What (if anything) happens to the lion's claws?

One drop of blood seemed like it was melting a hole in a stone floor. What (if anything) happens to the lion's claws? In this particular instance the Lions have been enchanted against fire (Resist Energy) after the attackers witnessed the earlier fight and Rorsans flaming weapon enchantment - a mix of low level rogues and casters trying to fight raw strength with guile and cunning... (and two giant mechanical lions )
Under normal circumstances it would deal 1d6 damage with each wounding hit.
